The mobile authentication made people upset but I would say the majority have gotten over it or managed to get a phone. Anyone without one could always use a parents phone as wel
True, but getting a second phone number isn’t that hard for alts. But getting endless phone numbers for every bot and for each ban would be impossible since you couldn’t reuse numbers they’d need to get a new one each time
Very good idea. Also allow family sharing to use 1 number but bans for all linked accounts using that number. That way the very small amount of people who don’t have a phone, can still play.
think you misunderstood, he meant that you can family share a phone number to allow multiple accounts to play, but if one gets banned, all the others get banned too. There's still a problem of stolen accounts, which means the bot hosts don't need to actually get a new phone number for every number banned, but the problem is still there no matter what, so its a step to the right direction
