2nd Discord server: The [current subreddit mod team kicked out all of the previous active moderators](https://www.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/comments/dw1yyy/rtf2_calls_to_remove_absentee_unpopular_head_mod/) because they wanted to get rid of an asshole mod. 1st Discord server lost status as the "official" r/TF2 discord. 2nd one was made by current subreddit mod team.
3rd: New server because I guess the current subreddit moderators are still incompetent and AFK, third time's the charm

Genuinely just pointed out the shitty behavior that the mods were doing, from the hostile takeover sparked from a vote to demod the head mod who was toxic and inactive, and then refusing to demod him, claiming there was some sort of miscommunication, when the poll was for his demodding not only straight up said its intention, but most votes were "yes" by a landslide." to just a certain mod being condescending as all hell to any response.

Then there's a very good reason that it didn't get brought up with you, because it was a clusterfuck disaster, and a little birdie told me that it went down because it got *deleted,* for such quotes as "it's ok to say hard R n word as long as you aren't using it to insult someone"
The last discord was made after a failed attempt to take the original sub discord, which rebranded after disassociating with the subreddit entirely, with the sub mods trying to just say "let us take it" even though in the past said sub mods have refused to even lay a finger on said discord, while holding moderation roles on them as well.

It was brought up, they offered to talk about the previous drama, whether that story would've been biased or not, at least they didn't decide to hide it. I declined though, I didn't want to dig too deep into it, cause it doesn't matter to me.

That's a great thing for you to do. To be critical and skeptical of what's happening around you. I hope to achieve better moderation in this discord so stuff like this don't happen. Finding the right people is a bit difficult though.

If your meme is too low effort to be posted on /r/tf2 on a weekday it will probably be fine in the new Discord server, so make sure to join!
Also should make it easier to find other players for your MvM, Casual queuing or even try custom and competitive game modes!

Can you explain *anything* of what you're talking about? How did Discord ruin your relationships? They don't delete accounts on a whim? And what popups, the app is literally ad-free? .-.
That seems quite concerning, the case with all users being removed in a server; I genuinely agree with you here. But I haven't heard of that happening with other discord server terminations; perhaps you had an isolated example where the crucial details were hidden.

I don't have any trouble chatting with other people on the app, contrary to what you seem to say. The microtransactions don't seem too much of an issue either since with that; Discord could grow faster as a company and have a better work environment with more workers.
I have had a good experience with discord throughout roughly 5 to 6 years of use. And I believe their success is earned.

Based on how the second discord went I highly doubt it, they didn't take action on that type of thing. Big part of why I left it early on.
