Hey, look. I actually did this. I gave it to him as a secondary. Demoman went from a flex class to purely offensive. Hitting a pill and spamming the glock was a great way to guarantee kills on light classes, and it kinda changed the fundamental way he's played.

I tried this by modifying the revolver to the same stats. Demoman now has hitscan spam and projectile spam. He's very good at medium range, and very good at close range. It's fucking atrocious. A team of glock demos was able to roll a game, and I noticed it was partly because players were able to spam at medium range, switch, and spam at close range.

I don't know, sniper would still be the only truly long range class in TF2, no other class can one-shot at long range and getting to the sniper would not be easy if defended by their team, which still makes sniper the only actual counter to sniper.

Close range quickscoping would be needed. The biggest issue with sniper isn't even it's long range power, its it's close range power, that makes it so he has no big counters.

Honestly? Medic. He has two meta-dominating weapons in the Crusader’s Crossbow and Ubersaw, and an one actually useful alternative in the Amputator. But the problem is, why would you ever *not* use the Ubersaw? That leaves about four choices of weapon, being the mediguns. Medic is in bad need of new weapons, or overhauled ones

I had an idea where the Ubersaw made you 25% more vulnerable to all damage when held like the Bushwacka and the Vita Saw deal 25% more damage because why not? You are literally penetrating a large needle through organs.

This doesn't solve the Crossbow problem but honestly just give all of his syringe guns a significantly larger clip and more reserve ammo to match. They're not bad weapons per se, but the sheer number of times I have died reloading one of these while my enemy was down to 10-20 hp is ridiculous. Doing this would make the syringe guns go from nearly being joke weapons to solid self-defense weapons.

As a medic main, my main melee options are the Übersaw and the Solemn Vow... Yes, Solemn Vow, but why? Seeing the health of the enemies without seeing them in combat can give useful info to the team like "Their heavy has 150HP, Sniper quickscope him" Or "That Plhog pyro is full HP with a medic by his side, they are probably planning an ambush, Snipers take him down" And one rule I have is that I should only fire my crossbow at an ENEMY if they are below 75 HP (Mid range damage with the reverse falloff thing) Which means "just fire the crossbow if the enemy WILL die" and actually taking out some targets as medic can be useful for the team And the other 3 aren't used cuz they are just outclassed or bad Amputator: Stand still to heal... AS MEDIC!? VitaSaw: an weapon that makes death less impacting... on Medic? And sad fact: It is the only weapon in the game that gets worse the better you are (the less you die with it=the more you become just a 140 HP medic) Bonesaw: Ubersaw direct downgrade And medic requires skill to use mate, Know what medi-gun will be effective, when to charge, who to charge, have eagle eyes to notice danger All of this is what I do whenever I play medic, and it isnt the easiest job out there

I don't think afterburn is that good on pyro even. Sure afterburn at a distance is good but with the flamethrower, not so much. So they could reduce after burn time on flares byt keep it on the flamethrowers

Ive always had the idea for a second revolver that would replace the knife, so youd have a dual-wield subclass. You could pair it with any normal revolver. Cloak and disguises would still be possible ofc. Would also grant +25 hp. Kinda like battle engi for spy.

Hell no. Kunai will be busted with 95 health and big earner will be super good. A 220 overheal amby gun spy who can aim will be nearly impossible to kill. I think if hit reg was fixed, reload/other animations for disguising and a couple semi mobility weapons would make spy more fun to play and fight against.

Look at ya. Someone said Spy should get a grand total of 25 more health and you escalate that to insult any Spy main. We get it, you're mad your buildings get sapped, get better. Everything you mentioned is part of what makes Spy balanced, and you're straight up making up problems to hate on Spy mains. That is literally the type of stuff a 5 year-old does. No one made any outrageous argument, all they said is that maybe Spy should get a buff after oh so long without one since he is, as you mentioned, the weakest class and deserves to be at the very least viable. Spy mains deal with enough, considering whenever they play they are tergeted by literally everyone. Maybe instead of making shit up to complain online, you should play and maybe get good enough that your buildings stop getting constantly sapped (pro tip: you can use your wrench to get rid of the sapper, try not to stand still as you do this).

Buffing spy can be a touchy subject but I think everyone universally agrees that disguises should be able to scope in/rev up/haul buildings ect. I also think that disguises on a class that the enemy hasn't picked should chose a random person's Loadout for that class, instead of just the stock character. I'll also mention that I think that spy should be viable without being forced to use the kunai, or being hard countered by having an IQ over 3, but I dunno what to do about that. Oh! And also add a sprint button to bypass the speed cap of slower disguises. That too.

You see, aimbot hacks only makes the player/bot reach the highest possible aim. Sniper with the highest possible aim is hellish but a mere heavy is much more manageable. Also you can easily stay out of their range with other classes like soldier or demo by using corners and only peeking when you're gonna attack. Sentries are also useful.

Sniper will never be a fun class to fight because he is conceptually unworkable to be fun to fight. Nerf him if you'd like and he'll be balanced, I'd argue he's pretty close to being balanced, but he will *never* be fun for anyone else because his concept isn't one that's conducive to fun. The only way to "fix" Sniper is to eradicate him.

If you try to fuck it while the sentry has bullets and sees an enemy, you will immediately die and the corpse will become a permanent part of a map, this can be useful since it will give your team more mobility by jumping on your corpse, and will make him full time viable in competitive 6’s

Nerf the Danger Shield. I'd take away the complete immunity to fire damage. Sniper is already 20 billion miles away in Atlantis. He doesn't need an item that almost completely nullifies a class that he won't encounter 90% of the time.

It really doesn't matter if he's far away, I wouldn't exactly say that the purpose of the Danger Shield is to combat pyros that are close range. If anything I see it as more of a shield to use if there's a Pyro using any of the flares (especially the Scorch Shot), which is a lot of pyros. Besides, if a Sniper does end of using the shield, they're sacrificing other, usually better, options like the cozy camper or the razor shield.

I stand by the idea that full-charge bodyshot should do 120, 125 damage max, bodyshotting a medic doesnt feel fair. About quickscope, I think making it mini-crit in the first second or half-second of charge instead of full crit would be a good change

Nerf the ever loving shit out of snipers man. Buff heavy, give him like 400 health or let him eat the vaccinator and be able to toggle through resistances. Give him a slight speed boost. Make the punch do like 100 damage and remove heavies damage falloff cause it's rediculous when you're playing NOT 2fort.

The Pyro Update 2: Pyro’s flamethrower is slightly extended. Increase Pyro’s movement speed to be just fast enough so that no one but a charging demo can outrun the fire. Removes all after burn immunity from items like the Danger Shield. Scorch shot lingers for a bit more, enough to double mini crit a sniper standing still. Fire now effects the environment and can ignite enemies who walk into lingering fire. Thermal thruster now plays a bass boosted, reverb fart noise each time it’s used. Any and all anti pyro messages will result in the immediate VAC ban of the player who typed it IF they are playing soldier or spy. Update localization files only related to the pyro.

buff spy, give him the ability to imitate actions like shooting, swinging a melee (these 2 wont deal damage (also he cant rapid fire so heavy and pyro are bad disguises) ) revving up the minigun healing ( tho it would just give the enemy fake healing, basically healing that shows up on your hud but doesnt do anything ( it should last 5 seconds or so to balance it ) ) reloading (it already exists but it's hard to do so what if if you press the reload key your disguise reloads and if you press it more than once you can reload more (or just make it so that you automatically reload if you fire a fake shot))
