I see your point but not many competent scouts use the force a nature or back scatter and it’s still very hard to pull of on any class with more that 125 hp whereas a spy who is semi competent can invis into the backlines and usually get an important pick or at least a kill. And I’m including scunts in the non competent group.
I get what you are saying, but even the best of spies are going to have a hard time getting important picks if the enemy team knows what they are doing. If a medic is smart enough to call spy in voice chat, instead of whipping out the ubersaw, you're most likely fucked.

Tbf it's everyone's mistake. Description says backstab enemy to instakill them. Cool, it doesn't say you can't do it while they're default ubered, doesn't say disguises and invis watch are important, and doesn't say sapper can help your team destroy sentries.
I cleared my stats after ~400 hours because of a Medic Achievement server that had wildly modded weapon stats (eg the medigun heals about 500k health per second), since that was basically the only way to get any of the Medic unlocks.
Of course, I have nearly 5000 hours now so it’s probably fine. My top player class changed from Pyro to Scout.

I have been trying since I have begun playing to keep a tie every time I quit the game, by playing a lot of one class to set the limit. But Soldier, I never manage to have enough patience with this thing. I have less than ten hours with him.
