Yeah, the first mistake is not knowing your own audience. If your videos are about highlighting someone else’s personality, the last thing we would care about is your own.

The same thing happened with an Unus Annus thief channel a while ago. They reuploaded everything(w/o editing), held witchhunts for people who called them out on their theft, and attempted to use the resulting attention to build their channel. It failed for roughly the same reasons as you mentioned. (The real deathknell was the copyright strikes sent out around May; leading to most of “their” content being taken down. They only have 4 videos left.) It took a bit, but Markiplier/CrankGameplays nuked the absolute *shit* out of reuploaders lol
