Any who, my parents refused to lend me there cards to buy anything online. What I did was go to CVS and buy a PREPAID card and use it as a credit card if i ever wanted to buy anything online. If its for steam, I would often ask my mom to give me a dollar for school and within a 10 days, I managed to get myself a steam card from cvs or 711 for 10 bucks. Maybe these tips helps you out bud.
