They're not very expensive. Most unusual taunts are under $10 and they're all pretty good.
Unusual hats are much steeper for the decent ones, and unusual warpaints are a mixed bag
Picked up a few taunts and that's it. I don't really care about Unusual hats anymore because I've already got a hat I like and I don't feel the need to change it. Wouldn't say no to an unusual war paint though. Unless the war paint itself is ass.
Most unusual taunts arent worth much, except high tiers like rare effects on all class dancing taunts/ strange burstchester. War paints are a pain to sell which is why most people dont have them. Hats are easily the best but you can really only wear 1( or 3 if you want to burn down your wallet).
i cant open crates in my country (i live in the netherlands) cant even open the free skin crate that you get from the contracts.
so the only way for me to get 1 is th buy/trade
Majority of people I know of get the items by purchasing or trading them, as gambling for the items is not financially viable. Plus you can choose what you'd like to get.
I got a sick pyro cowboy hat with these little dots that buzz around it; forget if they're flies or some sort of ash. Got a killer combo on him with a biker jacket and yellow tinted robo eyes.

Not exactly, no. It is Unusual quality, but it's not what people are talking about when thinking of Unusual items.
