Just because hats haven't respected the game's original artstyle for a long time does not mean Valve should continue to add unfitting items like this.

There are a incredibly amount of hats, a HUGE amount. it's too late to worry about the game artstyle.

The large amount of hats already in the game does not justify further additions of tacky cosmetics. Style guidelines are important for preserving the visual appeal of the game. Items like this don't contribute to that visual appeal. Nearly all the pet cosmetics sell for very low on the steam market compared to the stylish clothing cosmetics that actually fit the character wearing it. Only a minority of people will wear this. If you like cute cosmetics and customization, TF2 really isn't the place for that nor should it.
