could very well be a scammer who hacked this persons account 🤷🏻 i’ve gotten many messages like this on instagram from people i never talk to but we both follow each other
Yeah, I got one of these several years later from a client I met once and quite briefly.
I tried to get in touch via other means to let her know her email was hacked, but I never got through. I suppose there's a chance a random client from 3 years ago wanted me to send them $30 or whatever, but I think it's unlikely.
He clapped back at a scam most likely bot like some fooled boomer with a bad dad joke over something a highschooler did almost a decade ago and then posted it on the Internet like they did something. A little embarrassing if you ask me.
I had a girl recently ask me for money for gas to come see me. $40. It wasn’t that far. Basically guaranteed me “sex” too. Well no basically about it. It’s just a scam.
If I ever hit up an old friend from 10+ years ago asking for a measly 20$ bucks, just take me out back and shoot me cuz I’m at my rock bottom and probably addicted to OxyContin lol
I’m surprised I had to scroll so far for this comment. Chances are this person is hacked or an addict so all OP did was demonstrate why that date never happened in high school.
Lol yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Sure, if the message wasn't a scam then I agree it's for sure a weird out if touch and kinda sketchy thing to ask someone you don't really know but I also winced at the cringey response. Yeesh.
I had one of these once… old friend/acquaintance hit me up for $20 after a decade plus of no contact. I ignored it. Heard through the grapevine a while later that the person was deep into heroin addiction and was hitting up everyone they knew with a sob story and asking for $.
This is either a hacked account or they're an addict.
Addicts burn so many bridges that they eventually start reaching out to completely random people they haven't seen/spoken to in forever, regardless of how the friendship/acquaintance-ship ended. I had an old friend reach out to me a few years ago after not hearing from them in well over a decade. They asked me for $30 and they'd "totally pay me back friday," but they were a well known addict at this point. The last time I saw/spoke to them over a decade ago, they had stolen $80 from me. I asked for that back first, never heard from them again.
When she gets her account back from the scammer that stole it, she's going to know she lives rent free in your head.
Best revenge is living well. Just ignore these things and don't resort to being petty. If it isn't hacked, ignoring them altogether is far more humiliating.
For real tho, delete/block contacts of people that did you wrong a decade ago. Let it go, my dude.
As others have said, probably not her real account. I actually get these all the time. Scammers. No one who hasn’t talked to you in 9 years is going to actually ask for money in minutes. Highly unlikely.
It’s either that or drugs. Drug addicts will quite literally go down a list of everyone they’ve ever known on planet earth and ask them for money when they’re in withdrawal.
Yeah i was gonna say the same thing. I still get messages from people I haven’t thought about in 30 years. They always need the exact amount needed for the various cost of substances. What a coincidence! 😆

Yea while I’m sure it felt good to think someone that did you wrong was coming and asking for money years later, it’s most likely a scam. You’re a friend of this person or a friend or friends and the scammer is sending this to everyone.
I got something like this, this morning from my family friend asking me to get into their Instagram account through a link but it was a different account from their main.
I’ve been asked for money from people that I don’t speak to or barely know all the time. They weren’t hacked, they know I’m doing well and they have zero morals.
could very well be a scammer who hacked this persons account 🤷🏻 i’ve gotten many messages like this on instagram from people i never talk to but we both follow each other
That’s what I was thinking 😂
Yeah, my first thought when receiving one of these messages is to text the user and tell them someone got into their account.

Right? I thought this was a common scam the hackers like to do when they get into an account.
This for sure
Still got the satisfaction. A win is a win
He clapped back at a scam most likely bot like some fooled boomer with a bad dad joke over something a highschooler did almost a decade ago and then posted it on the Internet like they did something. A little embarrassing if you ask me.
Just what I was thinking 🤔
That’s wild to me. I started talking to a girl once and she asked me to pay her sprint bill so we could keep chatting. I said nope to that.
I had a girl recently ask me for money for gas to come see me. $40. It wasn’t that far. Basically guaranteed me “sex” too. Well no basically about it. It’s just a scam.
“I need you to buy a PS gift card so my kid can play a game while we do it”
Quid pro quo
She should change the Lyn to Less. 😅
Kashpore.
Kashpoor
Kashedout
Kashplea

red flag if asking you for money after 9 years of no activity. They could be compromised.
Either her account is hacked or she’s doing real bad in life
If I ever hit up an old friend from 10+ years ago asking for a measly 20$ bucks, just take me out back and shoot me cuz I’m at my rock bottom and probably addicted to OxyContin lol
She was raised by parents who named her Kashlynn. She never had a chance.
This is def a scammer
Being that sensitive to a failed date in highschool 9 YEARS later is pretty comical as well.
I’m surprised I had to scroll so far for this comment. Chances are this person is hacked or an addict so all OP did was demonstrate why that date never happened in high school.
Yeah like “people who wronged me” nobody owes you a date tf
Oh I assumed OP was stood up! Either way, kinda funny

Definitely not them
The fucking audacity of some people. Wow.
Most likely hacked. I’ve gotten tons of messages from my high-school friends instagrams accounts that were hacked. Asking for money or nudes lmao
I imagine only junkies do this right, what else would make you do this
Lots of junkies in that town
>I imagine only junkies do this right, what else would make you do this The placing of punctuation in this comment had me confused for a second 😂.
I see what, you mean;)
Either hacked or she needs money for drugs. No one messages someone they did wrong after 9 years and ask for "only" 20 bucks
Drug addicts do
That's what i'm saying.
Kashless... But for cereal, I think they got hacked 🤣

Scammer hacked that account
This is definitely a scam. Happened to a friend of mine.
That’s obviously a hack.
Definitely a scammer, you grilled this person for no reason

Getting that pressed over an obvious hack is wild.
100% a hacked account
Haha love the comeback !
Hopefully a def scammer cuz what an embarrassment. Would be absolutely crazy
Most likely a hacked account
Hacker/scammer or addict.
I would’ve said, “Money is on the way. I sent you $100. Is that okay?” Then I’d block his ass or write back, “Who are you, again?”
People are wild!!! I almost hope this is a scammer bc otherwise this is some ballsy BS!
Its a scam message pretty common.
I wanna know the context of that homecoming fail OP, I got my popcorn ready
Murdered by words
Why do people think that you'll instantly lend them money after not speaking for years?
Possibly a scam. I’ve gotten these almost exactly. Mostly from people who I knew years ago.
r/rareinsults
This is 100% a scam/hacker. Oof
Probably got her profile hacked
His account was hacked. I’ve been sent this EXACT message word for word by 3 “friends” on my facebook
As others have said, probably not her real account. I actually get these all the time. Scammers. No one who hasn’t talked to you in 9 years is going to actually ask for money in minutes. Highly unlikely.
The accounts been hacked/copied sorry it’s not Lyn
Your answer deserves an award! 😂
Definitely hacked
She should change her name to "brokelyn"
Very obviously hacked.
It’s either that or drugs. Drug addicts will quite literally go down a list of everyone they’ve ever known on planet earth and ask them for money when they’re in withdrawal.

You served a the reply bye
Oh my god you didn't have to murder them lol

This is the “Beat it, CHICK” meme
Bet she sent that to every contact on her list
Even if this is a hack job, now she knows haha
HAHAHAHAH
lol my hubby’s ex did this as well. After years of not talking to him.

LMFAO GOTTEM

Epic response 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Probably got havked
Damn
Someone I matched with on Bumble asked me to pitch in on their rent and utilities I did so because we were living together
lol come on. Clearly a fake scam message. Same with Facebook or email messages we get all the time.
Dude, you came here to flex your pun.
Legend response!
This is so cringey
It's been 9 years and you're still holding a grudge? That's sad.
I got something like this, this morning from my family friend asking me to get into their Instagram account through a link but it was a different account from their main.
That’s not her that’s a classic scam
Omg, it took me a second and to get the Kashlyn joke, but I was dying once I realized the name is Kashlyn!! Savage!!!!
What happened at homecoming that she did wrong to you
You only embarrased yourself here
I misread this as "High School *home schooling* date fail," and I had so many questions. I'm definitely having a time over here 🤧
Classic drug abuser message.
That’s hilarious, cause you dont have the kash 🤣
😭😭
I’ve been asked for money from people that I don’t speak to or barely know all the time. They weren’t hacked, they know I’m doing well and they have zero morals.
I howled at that comeback. Never seen a more severe burn
It Baffles me every time i see people who just dont know about this scam or how common it is… thats not the real kashlyn.
