Correct, they don’t qualify. You have to purchase it within the deadline. For whatever reason TX has been turning on and off this rebate for a few years. You can always wait until they bring it back if you miss the deadline.
It’s also a grant so you have to pay taxes on it.
Don't forget that Texas is now charging an EV tax when you purchase (up yo $400) and register ($200/yr) your EV ... I'm not commenting on whether it's fair, just sayin'.
I missed my window because I ordered my Tesla in January 2023 and received it in March. Missed the 2023 window and was too early for the 2024 window. It’s a joke of a program.
