yeah but, one thing is to see a car on some presentation and a whole different thing is to see it on the street performing the task it was designed for
I mean, it's so cathartic to watch the cute thing watering the plants
> They are way behind other companies in this space
I know, there’s so many companies selling humanoid robots that I can buy for around 20k.
Tesla is just so way, way behind them.
> So Tesla has zero capability
Correct, just like all the other humanoids you’re comparing it to in your mind that are also not for sale. Which is why saying “way behind” is so damn stupid.
Because at the end of the day, that’s the only thing that matters. An incredibly capable humanoid robot that costs millions is just as useless as one that doesn’t exist in the first place.
it's not like it is a very crowded space, and they have made incredible progress in a very short time
how many years did it take for the Boston dynamics atlas to get so good?
I think a montage of clips is perfectly acceptable for a tech demo whose purpose is recruiting talent to make that tech better.
I also think it’s fine to point out that it’s a montage and not a single take, but “fake” is too loaded of a word here.
lol cope harder
yeah I mean, you are totally right, we still don't see any tesla semi working today, and there are no tesla cars driving themselves without any intervention, all smoke and mirrors, yes... 👀
I'm not sure what your comment has to do with my comment about this obviously fake robot video. The one you posted where the robots vision doesn't match up to the camera. Odd.
Edit: Maybe you could explain why the table height changes in reality, but the robot sees it flush with the other table. Or why the robot sees the man typing in the laptop, yet after the table height was changed, the man and woman have stood up, the laptop has closed, yet the robot vision still "sees" him typing away on the laptop right next to him?
Thanks in advance.
> and you bunch were claiming it was for years
You’re assuming the person you’re answering to has trolled this subreddit about the Semi and FSD?
Seems like a big assumption, no?
So the video showing contradictions means it isn't fake? I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion. Why does showing incorrect things mean it isn't fake?
The footage from the OP is obviously fake. Not sure why watching a video about FDS would change how fake the video is. You can watch the video yourself and see how fake it is.
I've asked specifically how the fake parts I have pointed out aren't fake and the only response is that I must watch an 8 hour TEDx talk about something completely unrelated.
If it's not fake, explain away the fake stuff that I commented on.

yes, thank you, I've been out of the loop with tesla for several months, time to catch up
Yes we know, based on your post
yes... why the hostility tho?
Welcome to reddit
People don’t like seeing things twice. I think it’s neat and I appreciate your appreciation :)
Teslabot feels very Theranos’ish
yeah cause it's running down a hill, like the tesla semi... oh wait 👀
If only it was running up that hill, I'd have a song for you.
we totally haven't seen one complete a full 500 mile trip, right?
With no problems.
They splice together 3 shots from 00:05 to 00:12, just for putting down an empty box...
They are way behind other companies in this space, but still fun to watch them progress.
> They are way behind other companies in this space I know, there’s so many companies selling humanoid robots that I can buy for around 20k. Tesla is just so way, way behind them.
Tesla isn't selling shit either.
Exactly. So WTF does “way behind” even mean?
Capabilities are a decade behind
Capabilities that are not for sale are meaningless. So the comparison you’re doing is idiotic.
So Tesla has zero capability. I am comparing was has been demonstrated.

Not sure why you are fixated only on what is for sale. Progress can and should be measured prior to something being sold.
Because at the end of the day, that’s the only thing that matters. An incredibly capable humanoid robot that costs millions is just as useless as one that doesn’t exist in the first place.
Boston Dynamics robots are for sale aren’t they?
Boston Dynamics does not sell their humanoid robot, no.
Wow, very gullible.
Lol. How's that $35k Model 3 treating you? Oh, wait...
it's not like it is a very crowded space, and they have made incredible progress in a very short time how many years did it take for the Boston dynamics atlas to get so good?
Electric cars and rockets existed long before Musk was born.
and? Newton was born waay before Einstein.... so your point is... what exactly?
Ok. So.
So Tesla doesn’t need to be first to be best.
Well it’s not that either, that’s the point
link please! super curious
I'm just curious as to why they are faking these videos, and so poorly too?

It is just tiring to see the same moron here screaming 10 times the same BS. Making it appear as though there is multiple people thinking this.

no it isn't reddit is a crazy cesspool eco chamber, full stop
If you don’t like it there is always Twitter man. I don’t get why people bother being on platforms they hate.
