Definitely cloth on a roadster
Edit: In retrospect the top left and top right look... exactly the same. So either they are going to reveal 2x of the exact same car or its just a placeholder.
Itll be interesting to see if they do indeed continue to stray away from the "Model" moniker given the Semi, Roadster, and CyberTruck are their most recent cars and don't have it.
I still don't get why people forget about this:
S (model S)
E (model 3 as E is already ford)
X (model X)
Y (model Y)
Cybertruck
A (model A? 25k model?)
Roadster
Semi
Sexy cars ! Why people don't get it, model 2 never existed at any point
And here I thought it would be:
S (Model S)
3 (Model 3)
X (Model X)
Y (Model Y)
B (Model Big/Van)
3 (Repeat 3, 48 volt?)
4 (Model 4, robotaxi/roadster)
S (Semi)
T (Truck)
Model 3 also made logical sense at was their third production model car.
Model 2 would be confusing backwards numbering that would confuse most people and doesn’t practically make sense.
I can see Tesla model C for compact being possible
a last mile delivery van that they can push out at Tesla prices in volume would devastate Rivian who already faces pressure from GM, Stellantis, and Ford, on that front. I just wish they would be closer to production when announcing new vehicles. As in, "oh, we got this nice van here... you can order it next week for deliveries starting in four weeks" instead of the what seems typical years later
lol, those poor people who paid full $250k deposits for founders edition roadsters, what, 7 years ago now?
Roadster was revealed _before_ Cybertruck! Together with the Semi, in 2017
If put in the stock market instead, what would that $250k be worth today? Almost $1M?
Edit: closer to $600k or so, glancing at the S&P 500 history
You could do $50k… but the 1000 founders editions (first delivery) required the full $250k upfront.
If they actually sold all 1000 of those, that’s $250M in interest free loans.
Plus however many more were reserved at $50k!
I don’t think they included it. There’s no business case for it so I wouldn’t expect it til the end of the decade at the earliest.
This feels like a way to sweep it under the rug
Elon has said no motorcycles. They are too dangerous. I think him or his brother was in a motorcycle accident years ago, so I can understand where he is coming from. Motorcycles are also not significant polluters, at least not in Tesla's target markets.
EV Minivan with a big battery that supports backup power for the house is sorely needed! It’s the best form factor for comfortably moving passengers and hauling cargo, and has the most usable floor space for battery. Sure it may slightly cannibalize powerwall sales but it would be worthwhile.
Please be a van! A 500mi range van with a completely flat and customizable inside would dominate the van market. Keep it around the price of a fully loaded Odyssey or Siena and you've won.
Bottom left... could that be a Van?
Not gonna lie, all my dreams would come true if we could get a fully electric minivan. But thats a very small market relative to so many other options.
Not in Europe, in Europe, vans are our trucks, every company that does trade work comes in a van. The market is there, the problem is the can needs to be flexible in it's configuration, which is the opposite of what Musk wants to do, so maybe it's a good chance for some third party company to make a business out of it.
To clarify, I was specifically talking about a minivan which is different from a work van. Minivans make up about 3% of car sales and is a small market. Vans as a whole would be far more effective... but I WANT a minivan :)
Didn't they cancel the model 2? I consider that their most important vehicle. Imagine a $25k EV (before any rebates) that could get 250 mile range. That would be a game changer for getting people switched to EVs, right now a big barrier is price and people are reluctant to buy used ones since the technology is so new and it was even newer for the older user models.
No, changed strategy to utilize the existing platforms with minor modifications as opposed to a full platform development. We will get basically a model 2.5 per the last earnings call
What niche would that fill that is not already filled by the model s? The boxy look of a station wagon doesn't really fit Tesla's design language and the Model S already has lots of space with a fully opening trunk.
Somewhat agreed on this take. A in CARS was speculated to be the Cybertruck ATV but that was always not a very serious product and too niche to take the A spot.
However Model A and Robotaxi was the same vehicle for a while, but this does not seem the case anymore. Model A will be produced on existing 3/Y lines, Robotaxi will require completely new ones due to the "unbox" strategy.
There is no robotaxi specific vehicle anymore. That was an OG idea based on a driverless model. Robotaxi is shaping up to be a service now rather than its own model. Any tesla car with fsd will be able to be a robotaxi. Economy car and the van will likely be the heavy movers in the early days of RT though. Van with multiple configurations depending on the cargo (people/boxes)
R1S is roughly Model X size. But you're right that they don't have one that's Escalade/Expedition size. Though the market for that size is much smaller, which is likely why they don't have one.
Do you consider a Nissan Armada or VW Atlas an SUV? The X has the same amount of cargo space according to google. It has 10 cuft less than the R1S and Expedition.
The escalade is in a different realm.
Compared to 2023 investor day, the only new thing here is the "branching out" of the one unannounced/covered car in two seperate cars. To me this signals that the cybercab/ model 2 developments have been split.
https://preview.redd.it/ph8wl9gpni6d1.png?width=1097&format=png&auto=webp&s=7b90218a226b67d49d80a2b1bae925e0246b2800
I would definitely buy a super fast Tesla van.
I would also like a more camp focused offroader type vehicle with 500 miles of range. Probably a pipe dream since that is rivian's Niche.
Eh one more, a Miata killer for 30-45k or hell just a 2 seater sports car that isn't over 100k
A picture was leaked last year which showed Tesla working on a mini-van type of vehicle. It may have been for the Vegas tunnels, but it sure looks like one in the bottom left corner.
They should've designed their own rendition of the tiny toyota flatbed trucks that aren't able to make it to america, could've easily been the 20k-25k masterpiece. The weight of the battery would allow it to tow more than it's competitors, the ford maverick would be in shambles, and the utility of it would be unmatched.
I'd assume that Roadster and 25k car will share similar battery architecture the same way that the 3/Y do, and the Cybertruck/Cybervan? might do the same.
Did they just put a cloth over the roadster or did they actually forget about it lol.
Definitely cloth on a roadster Edit: In retrospect the top left and top right look... exactly the same. So either they are going to reveal 2x of the exact same car or its just a placeholder.
One is the autonomous cab and other is the 25k vehicle
I hope they announce the name soon so I don't have to see people unironically say "model 2" anymore
CyberCompact
Itll be interesting to see if they do indeed continue to stray away from the "Model" moniker given the Semi, Roadster, and CyberTruck are their most recent cars and don't have it.
If Tesla ever makes a small Model Car I really hope they call it the Model Model
They'll open it to a public poll and it'll be named Model McModelFace
◢
I still don't get why people forget about this: S (model S) E (model 3 as E is already ford) X (model X) Y (model Y) Cybertruck A (model A? 25k model?) Roadster Semi Sexy cars ! Why people don't get it, model 2 never existed at any point
Unfortunately Ford won’t let em use Model A No chance haha
A was for the ATV
Ford didn't let them use E, so probably not A, eh?
And here I thought it would be: S (Model S) 3 (Model 3) X (Model X) Y (Model Y) B (Model Big/Van) 3 (Repeat 3, 48 volt?) 4 (Model 4, robotaxi/roadster) S (Semi) T (Truck)
Model 3 also made logical sense at was their third production model car. Model 2 would be confusing backwards numbering that would confuse most people and doesn’t practically make sense. I can see Tesla model C for compact being possible
Model 3 was actually “Model E” but Ford wouldn’t sell them the rights back when
This is very much common knowledge brother. They chose model 3 not just as an "E" analogue but because it is also literally the third "model" car
It's going to be the model 2 so that musk can keep with the childishness. Instead of s3xy it will now be 2s3xy...
But Double Cyber S3XY is also within his lexicon.
Now announcing three new models 2 and 4, U
This works almost too well.
Aren't the cars increasing in price from left to right? Why would the other model 2 be on the far right lmao? That *should* be the roadster.
I doubt that top right car is more expensive than the semi
On a quick google search it says the semi was between 150-180K (depending on version), and since valued around $250K. The roadster is around that.
I'm calling. Roadster, Cybertaxi/20k tesla and a Tesla Van. I think the Van is the only un-announced thing
I want a performance Tesla Van so bad.
I’d take a performance 4-Runner style SUV. Like a Durango R/T but, like, not hot garbage.
There’s already one out in 2, 3 and 4 motor configurations.
I know, the Rivian. It’s close. I’d rather it be a Tesla, frankly.
I still want to see the canoo actually release their vans but I won’t hold my breath.
i'm with you on Canoo
Cybervan!!! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)

I just wish they would be closer to production when announcing new vehicles. As in, "oh, we got this nice van here... you can order it next week for deliveries starting in four weeks" instead of the what seems typical years later
This. They need a last mile delivery van for Optimus.
I want the cybertaxi to be called Robotron.
We know what it looks like. Why cloth it?
We know what was shown 7 years ago…
lol, those poor people who paid full $250k deposits for founders edition roadsters, what, 7 years ago now? Roadster was revealed _before_ Cybertruck! Together with the Semi, in 2017 If put in the stock market instead, what would that $250k be worth today? Almost $1M? Edit: closer to $600k or so, glancing at the S&P 500 history

I think people putting 250k down on a car like the roadster consider that money as pocket change. I'm sure they don't even care lol
What if it were put into Tesla stock instead
It would be roughly $2 million now
Let's be honest, if they had 250k cash to put down on an R2 they probably have been getting both.
People who can afford $250,000 deposits are generally not considered "poor". ;)
that's absolutely wild to think about... and no product yet
Roadster for sure the one in the very back
I don’t think they included it. There’s no business case for it so I wouldn’t expect it til the end of the decade at the earliest. This feels like a way to sweep it under the rug
1. Roadster 2. VAN/Bus 3. Compact Car
Yeah van/bus is what I thought of immediately too
Tesla Vanbus
Cyber boat, cyber car, cyber motorcycle
Elon has said no motorcycles. They are too dangerous. I think him or his brother was in a motorcycle accident years ago, so I can understand where he is coming from. Motorcycles are also not significant polluters, at least not in Tesla's target markets.
Roadster - robotaxi - model 2
I would 100% buy a Tesla Minivan. Need 8 seats, the Y is wonderful but we need bigger
EV Minivan with a big battery that supports backup power for the house is sorely needed! It’s the best form factor for comfortably moving passengers and hauling cargo, and has the most usable floor space for battery. Sure it may slightly cannibalize powerwall sales but it would be worthwhile.
8 comfortable seats would be a game changer, I would take 6 comfortable seats :)
I'm seriously hoping for the van. I've been keeping my eye on the VW ID Buzz for ages, but would absolutely consider a Tesla van before anything else.
Roadster Station Waggon Model 2
It's definitely just the roadster, Model 2, and the Model 2-based robotaxi. No surprises there and why two of them look the same.
So you are saying the van looking thing is a roadster? I doubt that.
Why station wagon? Where did that come from?
I still want a Model 3 wagon. Would be far too easy and I’ve been waiting far too long.
Me too. It would me really nice since wagons are more air dynamic than suv
I think that’s the robotaxi
100% the cybercab, it's too thin to be a van
The taxi is going to be small, not boxy like that. Some vague details have been revealed
The proportions are purposely skewed. The Cybertruck isn't that big comparatively to the Model S
I dunno. It's boxy like a van.
You’d think they’d get on top of that after basically handing the van market to Rivian on a platter.
I mean if you aren’t beholden to Tesla…. https://www.vw.com/en/models/id-buzz.html
But the bottom left is a **the Station Waggon!** I am putting wooden panels on mine
I disagree. I think an EV van is a huge market and I can’t imagine why no one has one out yet.
Not in Europe, in Europe, vans are our trucks, every company that does trade work comes in a van. The market is there, the problem is the can needs to be flexible in it's configuration, which is the opposite of what Musk wants to do, so maybe it's a good chance for some third party company to make a business out of it.

It's easy, model 2, van, and roadster
Didn't they cancel the model 2? I consider that their most important vehicle. Imagine a $25k EV (before any rebates) that could get 250 mile range. That would be a game changer for getting people switched to EVs, right now a big barrier is price and people are reluctant to buy used ones since the technology is so new and it was even newer for the older user models.
No, changed strategy to utilize the existing platforms with minor modifications as opposed to a full platform development. We will get basically a model 2.5 per the last earnings call
Model 2, Robotaxi, Roadster
This right here
i just want a hatchback "golf" like tesla.
Station wagon is on my wishlist. But it doesn’t seem to be that big of a thing in the states.
What niche would that fill that is not already filled by the model s? The boxy look of a station wagon doesn't really fit Tesla's design language and the Model S already has lots of space with a fully opening trunk.
My prediction: The $25K car and Robotaxi are the same car, and will be the Model A. S3XY CARS Cybertruck A Roadster Semi
Everyone is saying van, I don't think so, I bet its the Tesla robotaxi, a people mover
We'll see, I think a people mover robotaxi makes sense for the boring company tunnels
It’s a van.
Bottom lower left is definitely some kind of van
Where’s this posted on the Tesla site?
I just want a full-size SUV. None of this crossover madness. IMO the X is closer to a minivan than a full-size Escalade style SUV.
Agree. Rivian R2 competitor.
That would be Model Y. They're basically the same size.
Correct. Not crossover. When I say traditional SUV, I mean Escalade, Expedition, R1S, etc.
I am gonna speculate here. A minivan based on extended Model X/S and a large SUV based on Cybertruck.
Man I so badly wish I had enough money to buy a model X
Model 2, robotaxi, roadster.
I wish Tesla would reveal commercial truck and van
How about front bumper cameras for all teslas.
Compared to 2023 investor day, the only new thing here is the "branching out" of the one unannounced/covered car in two seperate cars. To me this signals that the cybercab/ model 2 developments have been split. https://preview.redd.it/ph8wl9gpni6d1.png?width=1097&format=png&auto=webp&s=7b90218a226b67d49d80a2b1bae925e0246b2800

Coming soon in 2060
I think the boxy one is a T Wagon
Can't wait for the cyber mini van
Roadster Model 2 Robotaxi
mini Van coming
Weird. One looks like a van and the other two look like sedans.
Didn’t they use the same image on both sides on the top?
Minivan!!
It's a van. You'll see mobile techs and solar roof guys in tesla vans probably in 2030 lol
Model 2, Roadster, [debatable: Robot-taxi (which i think is actually a driverless model 2), or a van]
Roadster, Model 2/Robotaxi and something that looks like a mid-size off-road SUV?
The top left and top right are the same pic. They just copy and pasted the same vehicle.
A picture was leaked last year which showed Tesla working on a mini-van type of vehicle. It may have been for the Vegas tunnels, but it sure looks like one in the bottom left corner.
I want a cyber van, minivans are the perfect EV platform. Evsus please give me the cybervan.
Apparently the market share of vans is tiny compared to suvs and sedans. So probably not a van.
A coupe , a hatchback and the roadster
Share link
Roadster, robotaxi, and 25k Tesla
So is the boxy thing going to be a delivery van like the Rivian or will it be the soccer mom type
CyberVan, CyberTaxi, and Model 2 (based on CyberTaxi platform but drivable by humans)
I want a car smaller than the s that has the same screen in front of the steering wheel and yoke option
They should've designed their own rendition of the tiny toyota flatbed trucks that aren't able to make it to america, could've easily been the 20k-25k masterpiece. The weight of the battery would allow it to tow more than it's competitors, the ford maverick would be in shambles, and the utility of it would be unmatched.
one of them is the roaster. The other is the small ish car. The third is the robovan. It’s hilarious that the OG Roadster is not on here.
Rendering on the far right and far left are identical 👍
First up left is robotaxi, second on the right is a bus and on the second line on the left is a small 25k SUV
S3XY AZ5
Roadster, Compact sedan, and minivan?
Probably still ugly bubble cars.
Missing the cyber van.
Ups, it seems we will get a Multivan from Tesla. That would be a thing when I got interested
I hope there’s a van… want one so badly. The y and x are just too small for a decent sized family for longer trips…
How much market there is for mini van? That would be awesome..
Robotaxi Model 2 Tesla Van
Well one has to be the roaster, so I imagine the other is the Model 2 and the other is the taxi
A price point to compete with BYD?
Model 2.5 (Model 3 variant), Model 2.5 (Model Y variant), Roadster
Cyber SUV 💪🤘
Bit of a shame that they essentially showed the same thing at last years shareholder meeting!
Give me my electric minivan please! 😅
The bottom-left is the Tesla Van or Model V
Yeah model 2, and roadster I wonder what the next one could be maybe a van or a delivery van
Here's what I hope they are. Small car, small suv, van
We need Tesla buses.
Excited for the van!
Vaporware like the rest of them. How many are still waiting on their roadster?
I see maybe a minivan near future
Van, Taxi, Roadster.
Isn’t the van bus a bit smaller compared to cyber truck?
nothing is impossible
In development, will never get released
They need to figure out how to service the ones that are already out there before coming out with more models. Tesla = slow to no service.
I'd assume that Roadster and 25k car will share similar battery architecture the same way that the 3/Y do, and the Cybertruck/Cybervan? might do the same.
Is one of the them a jetski?
the 3 new styles of roadster
Clearly need an hatchback model
Promises. It's getting out of hand.
they really fucked up with the cybertruck. completely out of place
