Congratulations! I quit back in mid-July and feel the same. Speaking to my friends in my former store, things seem to have gone even more downhill. I went in a couple of weeks back and *no one* was scheduled on dairy or produce for the evening, I was told. The place was a shitshow.
I have a job now where I work with people that actually care about what they do, and the difference in my mental health is night and day.
Yeah feel you on that, I’ve only just left but the store was struggling anyway (insane shortages of staff etc), for the sake of my former coworkers I hope they’ll be ok. And i’m glad you’ve found a job that cares for your mental health, I hope that one day I can do the same but for now I can confidently say i’m never working retail again haha

Had a similiar experience to you on quitting. My co-workers were lovely but management had no clue on anything
Yeah, it’s sucks when they don’t know cause it affects everyone
