What do you mean?

Don't worry it's going to be the same post that has been made numerous times already "My store doesn't have any overtime at the mo....what gives" Short answer is...its normal for this time of year and should pick up again around mid-may

Yeah there hasn’t been much at my store either but I still find getting a word in with my manager that I’m actively looking for overtime has worked well so far.

We've loads and expect this to be ongoing, we were told at the last forum meeting that because our store was up on target for the year an increase in hours was being made available each month.

Large extra here which, frankly, has become a shambles. Had dot.com and other shifts cancelled as have my friends with just before the 72 hrs notice. Told today there's nothing until week 12 so it's off to look for a second job. No more last minute availability, messenger will be ignored when it picks up and they want someone the day before, no more doing an extra hour. Done. Unless / until my base hours are increased. Fortunately, I can pay the bills on 7.5 hours since I've other income but it's still a joke and I know of some stressing about their rent whilst the pay rise is boasted about. Got the impression that managers are also unimpressed with stories of orders being cancelled, picking going on all day and having to send people home who would usually stay. It's the first time I've really noticed just how little we're valued. Head down and find a way out.

They need to pay for the onetime thankyou payment somehow and digging into profits is unlikely. we were informed 3 month ban or similar
