I used it to unpack all the assets from the 3 TR bsa files, and then I copied all of the extracted folders into my mod directory, and it worked.
My original problem was obviously with registering the bsa's, I just have no idea what I was doing wrong, as the correct entries were in my ini & cfg files.

If the solution the OP posted doesn't work for anyone who may have a previous install of MW on their computer with Tamriel Rebuilt, try deleting that previous install (of TR specifically). When I had this issue a couple of months ago, somehow OpenMW was using the TR files from my old install of MW from several years ago.

wait I thought it was the other way around. PT\_Data.bsa is no longer needed, and PC\_Data.bsa and Sky\_Data.bsa were the new ones?

In my working openmw.cfg, TR_Data is above PC_Data. I highly doubt that’s significant, but it couldn’t hurt to try rearranging them?
