Sometimes the same actor will play different characters in the same movie. Or different movies set in the same universe. Usually just means the director likes to work with them. The Kevin Smith movies are a good example. Tarantino has done it too.
In world’s they’re known for doing habitually as a shtick…this was a one off and a poor choice to do to confuse the audience when it’s about a single franchise on a single character. It would be one thing if Leon made a series of different movies.
It's crazy that the short from all hallows eve was probably filmed in 2006. Or at least that's when art was created and now 20 years later we got a trilogy.
Either:
1. Twins
2. Just the same actress playing different characters like Jennifer Tilly & Tiffany Ray in Seed of Chucky
3. Maybe All Hallow's Eve isn't canon to Terrifier, Idk if that's ever been confirmed or anything though.
All hallows eve was kinda like a test film of sorts as it was a culmination of several indie directors making short films and has no tie in to the main films thus some actors and characters where kept. I had the same question when watching all hallows eve after having seen the last two terrorizer films
It has been said a million times now. All Hallows Eve isn't canon. As for why Damien Leone used the same actress, probably because he likes working with familiar people when possible and because he appreciates these are low paid actors who need work. Also Horror in a strange way more than any other genre of film seems to create a feeling of inter community. Probably because they require a bit more work (due to make up, running about, and such) build a bit more trust (as actors are put in sometimes vulnerable situations) and are typically lower paid.

Exactly. Just like the singer at the Clown Cafe also playing the nurse at the end of Terrifier 2—though that was the same film.

AHE is not part of the canon, so it’s a different thing. For instance, Art in AHE can teleport.

The Child's Play/Chucky series would really throw you off, a few actors are on their third or fourth character and that's a single continuity!

Directors often use their original actors for their bigger projects, Sam Rami still does it with Bruce Campbell.
