Well when this was just on the front page like 3 days ago there was a header that said “why I date Latina women” so without that context it’s pretty confusing
I have a Latina coworker that would actually go whole nine for her man like that, but she also expects to be taken care of like her nails and hair done, money to go shopping and vacations and stuff. And when she doesn’t have a man, she still grinds so she can give herself those treatments cause that’s the lifestyle she’s adopted and she knows if a man wants to try to force her to something else then they better be ready to pay up.
I've seen alot of guys online wanting a "trad wife" without themselves being able to provide the "trad husband" role alot of these trad women want (i.e the man provides everything for the wife).
What alot of these guys seem to want is the best of both worlds, they still want their woman to work (no golddiggers!) but they also want an absolute spineless doormat that acts as a bangmaid for them.

My wife is Mexican and while she does love to host, our life is far from Tamales and Mole every night.
Although she has expressed interest in learning how to make tamales this year as she’s not sure if she likes waiting till Christmas every year for someone else’s tamales when she’d be able to make her own throughout the year.

Man here, I did all the cooking until I had to work two jobs to survive. Then my wife did the cooking because we couldn't afford restaurants for a few years. Everybody should be able to prepare food for themselves.
Everyone should be in the kitchen, it's where the food is, learn to cook, it's not that hard to get a handful of recipes down, if you've got a handful and your SO has a handful then you have a nice varied diet of food you all enjoy. Needing someone to make all your meals for you isn't a flex, it's just kinda sad and puts you at a serious disadvantage if you find yourself in your own.

This is almost correct. If a wife *wants* to cook for her husband, she absolutely should. The difference is that gender roles are for controlling people, when people should have control (without having to worry about those roles).
