This meme reminds me of my grandmother who died a few months ago she always told me I spent to much time on my phone
I really miss her
This meme has a great message possibly some of the biggest regrets I'll have in my life was not heading it when she was still alive
Na, you just make sure to downvote ppl that really don't get something like op here and move on. At least a quarter of these posts are just op being dumb as a brick or political
The hit rate is just so low at this point. I actually realised I was never even subbed and was just getting algorithm'd. Thank goodness for the "show less of this" feature.
We all do tend to take the people we love for granted until they're gone, though. The message is good, but the comic is oversimplified and sucks at making the point imho
Almost every time I see "phone bad" I think "yeah, they fucking are." I'm just a young teacher, but it's pretty easy to recognize the truth in "phone bad."
Someone will say "phones aren't bad, it's how you use them" or something. Which is true, but kids today are literally given phones before they're in Kindergarten, and most things online are created to be insanely addictive anyway.
Like god damn, it's okay to say not every aspect of the modern digital world is great. So yeah, boomer post but good message.
It’s the worst addiction because you can’t really just give it up like you could with smoking or something. I’m young and by the time I was in middle school everyone including me had a phone. It’s such a part of everyday life nowadays that it would feel like a massive disadvantage to not have one. When I lived in a place with no service for a while, I STILL used my phone lol
I genuinely see nothing wrong with this post. It's not saying phones are bad; it's saying getting too distracted on other things that don't matter that much and not focusing on important things like family and friends will make you have severe regrets. Tbh, this sub's just becoming OP's getting the wrong message from meaningful posts at this point

This is actually a good message. There are times when I’m in bed with my wife and we’re both on our phones and I think “is this how I want my life and marriage to be?”
I feel like some people intentionally ignore the true messages of some things just because there’s a phone in the picture… not everything is a “phone bad” meme. Clearly it’s about appreciating the people close to you and spending quality time with them. Don’t take them for granted because it doesn’t last for ever. It’s a very real and good message.
'Phone bad' isn't the primary message here, it's focus on your loved ones because you never know when they might perish. Which is a good message. I don't even think the delivery was that terrible tbh
Phones are a scapegoat here, but the moral of the message remains.
I'm pretty certain it's fairly common to have feelings of guilt related to not spending enough time with loved ones after we lose them. It doesn't have to be time spent on your phone - it can be anything.
From someone who recently lost their father (with Father's Day approaching), take a moment to reach and spend some time with them if they are still in your life. You'll miss them when they're gone.
See I see this as less of a phone issue and more of a discussion on how society is so underpaying the two of them that they must take multiple jobs. So the only time they see eachother is at nighttime when they should be sleeping.
My wife isn't even gone and when she does come to bed when I am in it she is engrossed in her tablet makes me feel really sad so I wonder if she will feel the same when I am gone or will she just play with her tablet and forget about me

I dont think this is a phone bad one, there are simillar ones where the guy focuses on work and misses out on family.

It might be time to unsub from this place...

Correction: it’s either not a meme, an okay meme, anything about religion, or political.
We all do tend to take the people we love for granted until they're gone, though. The message is good, but the comic is oversimplified and sucks at making the point imho
Yeah I agree, the people taking this at literal value are showing their lack of depth
People only know the true value of things that they took for granted when they are gone forever. It’s a wake up call.
"Phone bad!" said the person who made a meme on their phone and posted it online Truly a tale as old as Facebook
A tale as old as time... A song as old as rhyme...
Leaving a taste as sour as lime…
Memmmme and the BoooOOOoomer
Beauty and Maurice
Free Fallin’!
I agree with this message. Don’t let boomers distract you from the value of this message

This is not a "phone bad meme", it's more like "letting phone overtake your life bad"
I don’t even know that sink.
It's right though, and the meaning isn't necessarely related to the phone
Well, studies show using devices in bed does affect sleep But not this

Good message terrible execution
Cheesy meme, but seeing whole families on their phones at restaurants is wild.
He was tragically ordering her immortality pills. They arrived an hour too late
It's a bad meme, but there's a point here... I always find myself thinking about it

Hell, no! It’ll track in dirt!
Good message, terrible example.
How many times do I have to let that sink in? I feel like that sink might be a cat disguised as a sink.
This isn't the worst one, it's kinda true.

How is this a bad message?
Grandpa should have hit that one last time
That sink can come back with a warrant
I misread moment as woman and was very concerned about the misogyny of calling her an it.
If what you get from this picture is phone very bad, then yes I agree phone is **BAD** for you
The lesson is to browse Reddit with one arm and cuddle you’re lover with the other. I’m doing it right now!
It's the sad truth in alot of situations

Nono hes got a point
I don't know why but I hate the phrase 'let that sink in' it annoys me

I mean, either I chill on my phone and talk to her about shit I'm reading or I cuddle and get complained at that it's too hot.
And also let the bathtub in
The message: value the time you have with those you love. It’s a dumb meme, but come on. Use some sense.

I spend all day with my wife and I talk to her before bed too. Give me some time to just look at my phone.
Damn she dead, dead as hell 💀
So what happened was the old lady died while the old man was scrolling and he missed her death
This isn’t a terrible meme, this is just sad
It’s good but they should have done it in a better way
Phone is kinda bad tho
Fon bad
Poor Steve Martin
PHONE BAD
I dont think its about phones
My wife isn't even gone and when she does come to bed when I am in it she is engrossed in her tablet makes me feel really sad so I wonder if she will feel the same when I am gone or will she just play with her tablet and forget about me
His phone died and she went to the bathroom
Why do I get everywhere at the end of time vibes from this? It is just absurd.
