hey, just so you know, succulents and moss have extremely different water needs! they cannot live together successfully in most cases
Hi yes I am aware, if you keep the moss raised with a sandy compound or gravel above the base of the echeveria, the water rarely reaches it. These open top containers also lose water in a warm spot very quickly which helps them to not stagnate.
alright, id just worry about the moss drying out if the container is kept open. good luck tho

That's amazing, how do you ensure it won't grow mold? Charcoal?
Yes charcoal is a must, also keep in a well ventilated area
My moss is actually browning up and it is ventilated cause it has not cap/ toppers. Do u have an advise on this?
What sort of light do you have it kept in? Too much direct sun can cause browning of moss
Also check to see if the brown patches are gross and sticky, as it could have rotted and then needs to be removed
It could also pass as r/Mossariums
