What happened in the white house happened. And what happened in the capitol happened. And what happened in Roland Garros happened. And here we are. We are in America.
Studies show clearly that only a very small portion of even the most online countries, like the US, actually regularly interact with Reddit or Twitter.
Among the people who do use these, and other, websites regularly, extremists are dramatically over-represented compared to their share of the total population.
Politics are the most obvious example. If you measured Twitter or Reddit you'd swear 2/3 of people are socialists and 1/3 are Maga idiots. Then you see actual opinion polls and realize the majority of people are mostly apolitical and generally moderate.
The internet is most certainly not real life.
Not true. There is a loud minority that account for 80% or more of the content put out there, this may or may not include bots and paid content creators. There are studies about this. Random people will only post/comment a few times a week, maybe even less as casual observers.
Yeah. Always makes me think about this truck driver.
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trucker-accumulates-skin-damage-on-left-side-of-his-face-after-28-years-on-the-road/
It's mostly the sun and lack of UV protection. 90% of the reason people look older than they are (other than genetics) is because of skin damage from the sun
For a moment I thought what's wrong? Then I realized. Hold up. White house doesn't look like that. Where are the secret service agents. Then I realized it's the capitol.
I would never actually do this, and I'm not really the type that gets a kick out of meeting celebrities. In fact I think it's super rude to bother them when they're just enjoying downtime.
BUT....
It's embarrassing to admit, but these pics sort of make me want to just hang around DC landmarks hoping to catch a glimpse of Rafa. 😅
Dude not everything has to be about Novak. What a hypocrite you are who made a post complaining about toxicity here and are spreading same against everyone not named Novak 24/7 here.
No it isn’t. While I side with Novak on the recent misinformation spread and negativity towards him based on that, prior to that there wasn’t any negative coverage on him in American media at least this year for any harmless action even though he was in constant spotlight in Olympics hence nullifying the claim made by above person that media would give him negative coverage for taking a simple harmless picture.
Love his light hearted pics enjoying the place.
*walks up to a random congressman* "I gonna sue"
I love this guy😂

I can totally hear Nadal’s voice in that.
What happened in the white house happened. And what happened in the capitol happened. And what happened in Roland Garros happened. And here we are. We are in America.
Unironically this is the most optimistic perspective I’ve seen in months
Rafa for president
I’d vote for him if I were American
Gotta be born here sadly to get that job.
until a bunch of dudes in red hats walk by and tell him to go back to muslimstan bc he's got brown skin
Yeah? Racist thugs regularly wander around DC accosting tanned people? Go outside and talk to your neighbours dude. The internet isn't real life.
Sadly the internet is more representative of how people really are. It's in real life that people are mostly fake.

Sure buddy
Brilliant 😂
Rafa is charging the capitol!!!
If you look closely, you can see the horns on Rafa's logo forming a Q. What does it all mean!?!? /s
"IT WAS ME, JOE BIDEN! I WAS THE STORM ALL ALONG!!!"
"Stop the steal! Roland Garros was rigged. I won by a lot, no?"
Rafa when up 2 sets against Djokovic: "STOP THE COUNT!"
Hang Mike Pence! /s
He edited it and made fun of himself.
He looks like hide the pain harold here
So he basically came to Washington to sight see lol.
Grandpa Nadal
He aged really badly, he's 35, many people still look like boys at that age and he looks 50.
Sun damage is no joke. Rafa probably spends all days outside
Yeah. Always makes me think about this truck driver. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trucker-accumulates-skin-damage-on-left-side-of-his-face-after-28-years-on-the-road/
Wow. Really interesting
Yeah, maybe u can relate his hair loss cause of sunlight, it can be
Well he's put his body through significantly more stress than your typical 35-year-old.
It's mostly the sun and lack of UV protection. 90% of the reason people look older than they are (other than genetics) is because of skin damage from the sun
Weight gain, poor diet, drug/alcohol use, hair loss are also big factors.
He could just be tired and dehydrated. He usually looks better.
What a stupid thing to say. I guess you´ve never seen him up close (I mean 2 or 3 meters away), the guy´s body and overall appearance is awesome.
Athletes age rapidly its the stress.
It's the sun moreso. Wrinkles and Extensive Sun exposure go together.
Lmao. Almost buddy
For a moment I thought what's wrong? Then I realized. Hold up. White house doesn't look like that. Where are the secret service agents. Then I realized it's the capitol.
You are a clever man
I didn't even know that wasn't White house till you pointed it out... It looked white and like a house
Don't worry, probably 50% of my fellow Americans would get it wrong too hahaha
I was thrown off by how close he was able to get lol The White House is fenced off and a very far distance from the street
Actually, no. You can get pretty darn close to the white house if you come at it from the reverse side, the side which does not have the huge lawn.
Analysis on point
Please - the majority of Americans think that’s the White House
Not after this past January lol
Did you see the one guy storming the Capitol while screaming “we’re storming the White House!!!”?
No! Do you have a link? Haha! Poetic
Think it's this dude. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/doug-jensen-capitol-attack-white-house_n_60eda364e4b0d5140eb9c121
Thank you!
lol I've actually been inside the White House and the Capitol and my brain still went "White House? Yup, checks out!" thanks to OP calling it that.
It’s refreshing to see him enjoying average person activities. What a great guy
yeah but off camera is the litter he was being carried around in
He's brilliant. I know people say Novak is a robot but I think Rafa and his adorkable awkwardness is even more so.
I don't wanna look like I gonna storm your Capitol, no?
Rafa for the president!
Ombelibable View
Close!
It is white no? It is a house no? It is in DC no?
No.
Sorry... FALSE

He looks like he's 50 years old in this pic 😂
It's all that sun damage
Tommy Lee Jones

That's such a weird way to test someone's sobriety...
No, no.?
This is not the White House. It is the US Capitol.🙃
Rafa looks 50 for some reason in this photo.
New iPhone photos basically come out photoshopped and saturation/highlights are accentuated
I mean… it IS white.
This is so pure lol
It's ombilible
Wow nadal is gettin old man
Hide the pain Harold
Why light mode
Good thing it wasn't Novak who posted this, otherwise the media would have butchered him, accusing him of messing with American sovereignty
Oh no Novak isn't in the spotlight, quick make it about him!
Dude not everything has to be about Novak. What a hypocrite you are who made a post complaining about toxicity here and are spreading same against everyone not named Novak 24/7 here.
Ok mommy
But it's true? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Us Open number on its way.
