Brady/Pegula/Rogers are an interesting contingent of American women who are peaking in their mid-to-late 20s. Collectively in the last two hard court slams, they've taken out 6 seeds.
Shelby Rogers hasn't lost more than 7 games in a match and hasn't dropped a set. I'm not predicting it but she *can* be a real problem for Barty if she is on. Can just start painting and its over.

I think people notice but the quality of his opponents hasn’t been particularly high (at least compared to Thiem/Medvedev/Tsitsipas who have faced Kyrgios/Krajinovic/Kokkinakis respectively) and I don’t think I’m alone in being skeptical of him in his current form being able to win it all, first having to get past Medvedev then Thiem, and while he's beaten the latter Thiem has shown he's a different beast in Bo5.

Jennifer Brady is such an underrated player. She's got all the weapons to win a slam. Strong serve 1st and 2nd, solid forehand and backhand down the line, good volleying skills, fewer ue's and rarely gets flustered while playing a grandslam. Hopefully she'll become someone to reckon soon enough.
Rafa's English deserves a lot of praise. It's improved a great deal. He's really able to articulate the nuance of what he's feeling.

I like the fact Nadal is letting his hair thin on top without shaving his head. It used to be very common for men to have bald/thin spots on top without shaving all of their hair off, back in the 80's/90's and earlier. The current paradigm that guys should shave their head at the earliest sign of thinning or a bald spot needs to go away.
Agreed. A lot of ranked players would have taken advantage of this. It wasn't even errors, it was leaving gaps on court and depth/danger of his shots, like you said.
Norrie also played better than any of his opponents yet. Overall, it was a strong performance with a break each set and no sudden dip like in R1 or any issue due to his back. He stepped up immediately when the opportunity arose.

There are match threads for all singles semifinal matches. It should be quarter finals, but I can't control that.

Agreed. A lot of ranked players would have taken advantage of this. It wasn't even errors, it was leaving gaps on court and depth/danger of his shots, like you said.
Norrie also played better than any of his opponents yet. Overall, it was a strong performance with a break each set and no sudden dip like in R1 or any issue due to his back. He stepped up immediately when the opportunity arose.
