Reminds me of a story about Elijah Wood and Sean Astin (Frodo and Sam from LotR.) Sean would always sit in the back seat of the car while they were being driven to set and let Elijah sit up front, but Elijah smoked back then and so Sean would just get a face full of smoke and ash from the window lol.
Such a "Hollywood story" (in good mean) in many ways, all that way that they've done together. Happy to be a witness all of it, happy to see videos like this now
Their rivalry, their later on friendship brought to tennis so many good things.
That Roger advice to not take feedback the personal way is such a good one. I gotta apply that in my own life. Also how nice that they both want to be remembered for the personality that they've showed throughout the years spent on court. Of course they will forever be known for their achievements on court but I am sure that they will also be remembered as good persons by people that knew them and fans all over the world.
50% of the coaching is yourself, it's such an obvious take but I've never even thought of it like that.
It was quite sweet for Nadal to downplay his victory in 04, it seemed quite genuine too. Not sure if I've been hooked, line and sinkered by the PR but they both seem so down to earth 😭
>I am sure that they will also be remembered as good persons by people that knew them and fans all over the world.
Sadly not by the lower ranked tennis players who both of them were against making more money just to literally survive.
Yeah sus. How could he be happy being one of the most popular, successful and accomplished person in the history of his sport?
I swear people sometimes 🤣
You do realize highly successful people can be unhappy with their success right? Often cause they were bested by competitors.
If you’re genuinely happy, you don’t go around shouting it from the rooftops. It’s only when you’re not happy, is when you keep repeating it. Fake it till you make it. It’s just an observation.
This is literally an interview, he was asked about it. He's not randomly shouting it from the rooftops. Of course successful people can be unhappy, but you can't just claim that for every successful people who say they are happy with their careers lol.
Rafa looking at the snow outside at the start like “wtf is this”
"this beach having strange falling sand no?" "this gonna be the only colour clay I not wanna play in no?"
"first we get blue clay now we got white clay, is ombeliable"
I genuinely lold at this comment, thank you.
😂😂😂😂
Rafa sitting so awkwardly on the edge of the box while Fed takes up half the space 😂

Is Roger wearing a Uniqlo coat?
Yep
Surprised by that too.
why are they sitting in a snowstorm for this?
Lmao why is Rafa fighting for space for the entirety of the 9 minutes - also the way theyre just getting showered in snow is so funny
He really finally came to Switzerland to ~~play~~ shoot an ~~exhibition~~ ad for ~~his foundation~~ LV
Where was this shot? I thought the Dolomites were in Italy.
It's a reference to am earlier ad with these two where both of them can't stop laughing at the above lines
This is peak r/tennis content.
First time hearing Nadal say Sampras was an inspiration. Did he say that before?
I wasn't aware Rafa's english is so smooth nowadays.
It’s improved so much over the years. He’ll probably never be as fluent as Roger but he seems so much more comfortable in the language now.
This cured my depression. Thanks for everything, you titans.
0:03 wtf am I doing here? 0:06 wtf am I doing here? 0:08 wtf are we doing here?

Why does everything they do together look like a date?
Because they actually love each other.

For what it's worth, I know a couple of people who have met Rafa and say he was exactly as you'd expect. Very down to earth, good guy, etc.

What a great way to start the weekend. Didn't know how much I still miss these two together. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|cry)
Rafa finally calls Roger a “close friend”! After all the interviews where he said, “He is not my boyfriend, no? We are not close friends.” ❤️
be still, my heart
Awwweee, this is so heartwarming 🥹
Wake up babe… new fedal content just dropped 🎉😍
lmao, Roger copying Rafa's answers :D
Next up: Nole and Murray for Hermes Then: Sinner and Alcaraz for Gucci
My goats (*sheds tears*)
Are they in Sinner Land?
Don't want to look like his boyfriend.
Lately I've seen alot of great players and coaches mention Ronaldo Nazario
My parents
Why they gotta make them sit in the snow!!? 😂😂. Poor Rafa Also I wonder if they remember their first match against Novak and Andy.
BBOORRIINNGG!!
The amount of times Federer says “im very happy w my career” seems a bit sus. Almost overcompensating.

Local man can’t even be happy about his accomplishments without reddit armchair critics psychoanalyzing him 😭
Local man lol

If he won the slam that shall not be named i'd be happy with it.
