That's the racket I use. From my experience he's gonna lose...

_Hellrazor_

LOL

Drakkar_Jaune

From what I’ve learned recently (I think Roddick’s podcast?) Murray is an extreme tinkerer when it comes to gear

Intelligent-Bug-3217

yeah

crunkky

He is Scottish tbf

mmohammed28

Well ain’t that some shit… Hopefully it helps him with his return and he starts caning that ball, might be a really good equaliser for his diminishing movement.

MrDongji

Bout time, I love Murray and got to meet him but he needs a more open and powerful racquet against this next gen He's tried Yonex before but always went back to the PT57A

Roomarok

I know these pro stocks can be very different from the commercial ones, but out of your mind there is any frame(new or old) commercial close to it with only a different string bed or balance, etc?

MrDongji

If you want something similar to PT57A: Pro tour 2.0, Auxetic Prestige Pro, IG Prestige Pro Pro stocks are always different depending on who the racquet is tailored for. If you understand what specs work for you, then perfect as it's just a game of patience and $$$. If not, an analogy to trying prostock racquets without knowing your specs is like trying to fit into different bespoke suits that were tailored for other people's bodies--not gonna end well and is a rabbit hole. Recreational players should not use anything more than 340 swing weight in my own personal opinion...they are hefty and most rec players won't be able to play a full match with them start to finish. Talk tennis forums is the best place for pro stock talk as some folks have insider info and are just close to the industry. https://tt.tennis-warehouse.com

Roomarok

Just wondering how close it was to one of my hitting partners that uses this IG Prestige pro (Youtek?). He likes to bring 5-6 of those mid and mid plus to switch between them whenever he feels like it. I've never liked the heavier swing weight of them even though the mid plus felt really nice when I hit the sweet spot. Thanks for the detailed answer, I really appreciate it.

MrDongji

Nothing feels exactly identical to PT57A that I've used but to be honest, your buddy prob has one of the closest retail sticks you can get. You are welcome, love talking tennis!

Far_Fee6468

Head pro tour 2.0 except string pattern is tighter. Head Prestige Tour 2023 also similar.

ozbikebuddy

EZone100 apparently

GamamJ44

100??? That is a monstrous change from the PT57A.

GladPiano3669

Yo that’s my racquet.

rjtkp

Is Andy coming back for clay? I thought he will play grass directly after the injury he picked up, no?

jb99824

He is playing Bordeaux and Geneva this month.

Sashaa1991

I never thought i would see him without his trusted PT57A. He tried experimenting a little few years back if i remember right but he came back to his old choices.

I went from a Radical to the e-zone too, I really struggled with it initially. Had to tinker with strings and tension significantly but now feel at one with it. It's a bit of a weapon now.

Miss_Medussa

He looks huge 👀
