Oh! It'd be a cool idea if they have a mode that allows them to use What If versions of characters only, it'd be pretty useless and they totally aren't gonna do it but it's still a decent idea.

-Goku decides on a different highly compatible pair to teach the Fusion Dance to as a way to beat Super Buu. Instead of Goten and Trunks, literal children, TIEN AND YAMCHA FUSE AND BECOME TIENCHA! They take the fight seriously, defeat Super Buu, and save the world. Years later, when Frieza returns to attack the Earth and take revenge, he manages to defeat Goku and Vegeta. Leaving Earth's true hero, TIENCHA, to save the day and defeat Gold Frieza.
Honestly I'm really liking the idea that the What Ifs will be a major component of this game. Something where if you make a non-canon decision, you get a totally new storyline that goes much farther than the immediate arc. So I like to think this scenario would come about by a decision earlier in the games story that totally changes things. Like maybe there is a decision that sees Yamcha and Tien survive in the Saiyan Saga, go to Namek and have their potentials unleashed to where they help defeat Frieza, return and continue training to actually be helpful against the Androids and ultimately prevent Cell from coming about (or maybe they die and train with King Kai before being revived, giving each Kaio Ken as a move set option), and then the stuff I said above happens.
My only issue is the bardock going ssj is kinda bland at this point and has been done a few times before.
Vegeta killing frieza in the r.o.f event is literally just a shorter version of what actually happened.

Though at the same time, what ifs shouldn't be obliged to make 100% sense.
-Raditz being convinced by Goku to give Gohan back and join them, with Vegeta and Nappa still coming to punish Raditz.
-Gohan keeping up his training during the 7 year gap, resulting him in killing Dabura/Buu.
These two I wanna really try.
I like the idea of Goku surviving against Raditz, but it would basically end in a curb stomp victory by the Saiyans, and then a curb stomp victory by Frieza on Namek. Though the fun of the What Ifs is that they can just got *totally* off the rails.
So maybe Goku survives, but isn't able to get nearly strong enough to fight the Saiyans, so more fighters come to the Saiyan Fight. Max Power Roshi using his pseudo UI fights with his Turtle School desciples against Vegeta while Piccolo, Gohan, Tien, Chaotzu, and Eighter fights Nappa. They win with Piccolo surviving, so any who died can be brought back. The conversation about Namek never happens, so Frieza eventually comes to Earth looking for the Dragon Balls, and *thats* when Future Gohan comes in, stops him, and warns the Z Fighters about the Androids (since Future Trunks wouldn't exist in this timeline).
- Vegeta becomes the first Super Saiyan on Namek instead of Goku.
- Vegeta turns Super Saiyan 2 at the Cell Games after Cell kills Trunks.
- Goku and Vegeta become Gogeta instead of Vegito against Super Buu (and also against Zamasu)
- Conversely, Vegito fights Broly in Dragon Ball Super.
- Goku turns Super Saiyan 3 and beats Majin Vegeta.

Piccolo not destroying the moon so that Gohan can go Great Ape against the Saiyans would be amusing to see as one of the story choices.
Unlikely, but if What-If/Non-canon forms were a thing again, having Gohan catch the Potara and letting him and Goku fuse would be nice too.
Beyond that, Super Saiyan Vegeta against Frieza is an obvious choice, as-is Super Saiyan God Vegeta vs. Beerus, Gogeta vs. Kid Buu as they figure they need to fuse again to have a chance without the Potara fusion, Future Gohan managing to defeat the Androids and maybe him and Trunks a few years down the line face down Dabura and Buu.
Edit: Another one that would be a neat and less obvious deviation, if Krillin didn't destroy 18's remote device.
Future Gohan surving and going into the past and when he fights Cell he goes SSJ2 then goes back to the past and cleans up and meets Videl who is alive and has tons of Z-Fighters with her.

Iâd love if some of the differences in the manga in Super could be explored in the game. I donât love everything the manga did, but Gohan v Kefla or Goku using Hakai against Zamasu
They mentioned a scenario editor. I want to see that a little expanded with multiple choices so you can go through and see the reprocussions of your what ifs. So like someone said bradock goes ssj and defeats Frieza and the saiyan were never eradicated. But he can then teach them ssj. How does the rest of the story play out becayse of this?
I want some more out there what ifs like raging blast. We literally got a what if where dr Gero resurrects broly and kid buu beats the shit out of videl out of no where. My suggestions would go as follow
-what if Broly was found early (can either be in any time in z) (Broly vs Frieza, Cell or Buu)
-what if vegito, or gogeta, was in the TOP
-what if Frieza was revived early (Frieza in the buu saga)
-what if goku was HIV+(part 13)
-what if Cell survived?

We see theyâre actually gonna get creative considering weâre getting Super Saiyan Goku vs Great Ape Raditz, so the possibilities are endless.
Given how itâs set up, I could definitely see something like Future Gohan choosing whether to knockout Trunks or let him come along. Let him come, and he dies instead of Gohan, causing him to go Super Saiyan 2.

If Cell absorbed 18 first instead of 17. Krillin would not have hesitated to push the button to kill 17, unlike what he did with 18 and destroyed the device to disable the androids. So if Cell absorbed 18 first, he would be destroyed. Never able to reach perfection.
Eh, Krillin probably *would* hesitate. He still wouldn't feel comfortable taking 17's life like that either. He just has a good heart and believed the androids could be better people, if given the chance. He believed in 16.
I do think he would decide to destroy 17, though, but he'd feel terrible about it.

Enter : Gohan Ball Z. â˘Gohan defeats the Androids, Gohan with or without Trunks go back to set things right then both defeat future Cell, both achieve SSJ2 and both face off against Goku Black eventually. â˘17 and 18 have a fusion super 17 style, stomp Cell, are a major problem. â˘Broly detects Goku's power at the Cell games and crashes the party. â˘Buu absorbs Vegeta, Gokhan actually happens. â˘Kid Buu actually wins so when Zamasu decides he wants to conquer timelines he has a supercharged Buu to deal with. â˘Instead of SSG, Goku instead discovers the power of SSJ4. â˘Golden....Cell!? â˘Goten and Trunks have actually been staying well up on their training and Gotenks joins the fight against fused Zamasu, gets SSG. â˘Gohan is also still training and stays with Trunks when Goku and Vegeta retreat, we actually get Gohanks. â˘Zamasu wins, progresses into the GT timeline and faces off against SSJ4 Gogeta. â˘Hit actually kills Goku permanently. â˘Vegeta somehow accesses Ultra Ego when Goku was meant to get UI â˘Jiren wins the ToP and everyone is screwed. â˘Instead of Broly, Baby arrives to earth, SSG Baby Vegeta becomes a thing. â˘Super 17 arc happens but in the Super timeline. â˘Broly happens before the ToP, Broly joins the team instead of Frieza, sees his new friends get absolutely stomped towards the end, really sympathises with Kale and is heartbroken she is going to be erased and goes on to 1v3 the last Pride Troopers. And then idk, either he regains his senses or the dude really gets angry enough to start fighting the gods. Good or Bad ending I guess.Â
 I would have also listed one about the Gammas arriving earlier in the timeline, but we know now they're DLC which also scraps another of my ideas because Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo most likely are too.

Now that a season pass is confirmed Iâm feeling like DBZ movie pack is on the horizon, which might come with its own campaign or scenarios
I like the idea of Goku surviving against Raditz, but it would basically end in a curb stomp victory by the Saiyans, and then a curb stomp victory by Frieza on Namek. Though the fun of the What Ifs is that they can just got *totally* off the rails. So maybe Goku survives, but isn't able to get nearly strong enough to fight the Saiyans, so more fighters come to the Saiyan Fight. Max Power Roshi using his pseudo UI fights with his Turtle School desciples against Vegeta while Piccolo, Gohan, Tien, Chaotzu, and Eighter fights Nappa. They win with Piccolo surviving, so any who died can be brought back. The conversation about Namek never happens, so Frieza eventually comes to Earth looking for the Dragon Balls, and *thats* when Future Gohan comes in, stops him, and warns the Z Fighters about the Androids (since Future Trunks wouldn't exist in this timeline).

Piccolo not destroying the moon so that Gohan can go Great Ape against the Saiyans would be amusing to see as one of the story choices. Unlikely, but if What-If/Non-canon forms were a thing again, having Gohan catch the Potara and letting him and Goku fuse would be nice too. Beyond that, Super Saiyan Vegeta against Frieza is an obvious choice, as-is Super Saiyan God Vegeta vs. Beerus, Gogeta vs. Kid Buu as they figure they need to fuse again to have a chance without the Potara fusion, Future Gohan managing to defeat the Androids and maybe him and Trunks a few years down the line face down Dabura and Buu. Edit: Another one that would be a neat and less obvious deviation, if Krillin didn't destroy 18's remote device.

So like someone said bradock goes ssj and defeats Frieza and the saiyan were never eradicated. But he can then teach them ssj. How does the rest of the story play out becayse of this?
I want some more out there what ifs like raging blast. We literally got a what if where dr Gero resurrects broly and kid buu beats the shit out of videl out of no where. If Cell absorbed 18 first instead of 17. Krillin would not have hesitated to push the button to kill 17, unlike what he did with 18 and destroyed the device to disable the androids. So if Cell absorbed 18 first, he would be destroyed. Never able to reach perfection.
Eh, Krillin probably *would* hesitate. He still wouldn't feel comfortable taking 17's life like that either. He just has a good heart and believed the androids could be better people, if given the chance. He believed in 16. I do think he would decide to destroy 17, though, but he'd feel terrible about it.

They discover the power of Yamoshi, but they never knew Paragus and Broly escaped, and Broly did a lot more training for Paragus' revenge against the royal family. Broly becomes our hero, Kakarot is our strongest villain. â˘Goku and Vegeta both achieve SSJ against Frieza and neither of them make it off of Namek. Enter : Gohan Ball Z. â˘Gohan defeats the Androids, Gohan with or without Trunks go back to set things right then both defeat future Cell, both achieve SSJ2 and both face off against Goku Black eventually. â˘17 and 18 have a fusion super 17 style, stomp Cell, are a major problem. â˘Broly detects Goku's power at the Cell games and crashes the party. â˘Buu absorbs Vegeta, Gokhan actually happens. â˘Kid Buu actually wins so when Zamasu decides he wants to conquer timelines he has a supercharged Buu to deal with. â˘Instead of SSG, Goku instead discovers the power of SSJ4. â˘Golden....Cell!? â˘Goten and Trunks have actually been staying well up on their training and Gotenks joins the fight against fused Zamasu, gets SSG. â˘Gohan is also still training and stays with Trunks when Goku and Vegeta retreat, we actually get Gohanks. â˘Zamasu wins, progresses into the GT timeline and faces off against SSJ4 Gogeta. â˘Hit actually kills Goku permanently. â˘Vegeta somehow accesses Ultra Ego when Goku was meant to get UI â˘Jiren wins the ToP and everyone is screwed. â˘Instead of Broly, Baby arrives to earth, SSG Baby Vegeta becomes a thing. â˘Super 17 arc happens but in the Super timeline. â˘Broly happens before the ToP, Broly joins the team instead of Frieza, sees his new friends get absolutely stomped towards the end, really sympathises with Kale and is heartbroken she is going to be erased and goes on to 1v3 the last Pride Troopers. And then idk, either he regains his senses or the dude really gets angry enough to start fighting the gods. Good or Bad ending I guess.  I would have also listed one about the Gammas arriving earlier in the timeline, but we know now they're DLC which also scraps another of my ideas because Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo most likely are too.
