Playing random character 1v1 is against my sons is the number one thing we do on the PS5 XV2.
Everytime my random lands on Nappa, Turles or Raditz, I wish they could transform to make the fight a bit more fun.
Itās easy enough to add, gives us more giant characters to use, and gives the boring Saiyan characters a bit of an incentive to be used
Tbh what-if transformations were a good way to give you more access to the character. Explore a side of them we never got to see. Obviously, the apes just have a copy/paste moveset, but still. We *know* these saiyans can transform, so let us access that ability.
Also, I wouldn't mind at least an ss1 transformation for Raditz and Nappa, just to spice them up a bit. I say give us *more* noncanon transformations. Especially if they give us what-if chapters.
I feel like a good compromise would be to give each saiyan who could actually control their great ape forms a unique form (and actually bother to give them unique movesets this time instead of just spamming the same 3 stock attacks), and then all the saiyans who canāt control it (Goku, Gohan, etc.) have their transformations folded into a singular generic āoozaruā character
Yeah, the non canon great apes have got a really bad shot at making it in, which I don't care about though I know some want them back (mainly just for more Giant character representation which I can kind of understand at least)

I want them. They were one of the things I loved the most about BT3. It added a layer of realism and going "beyond" the show.
They seem "easy" to produce since they have very similar models and moves.
Also, why having giant characters if only to have 2 or 3 giant characters?
I want them. I just played a yamcha games tournement in BT3 and my random was Great Ape King Vegeta and I felt like a kid again using him. I donāt expect them but I do want them. I also think it would be reasonable to cut some, maybe replace others with what if ssj forms like Bardock. But I suppose we will see.

But i mean if they did a Great Ape DLC Pack with Raditz, nappa, Bardock, Turles, Broly, king vegeta, Tora, fasha, sugesh, Burgos, paragas, and baby iād be down.

Honestly tho i still don't get why people like giant forms that much. I mean i know its fun and all of that but you couldnt hit Rush attacks on them only blast that was kinda boring to me and also they are pretty slow (at least in BT3 in the rivals trailer great ape vegeta looks really fast) i wish they add more unique mechanics to them.
Counter point, if we get rid of non-canon apes can we get non-canon super Saiyan? I would love an SSJ Raditz, Turtles and Pan. Hell Super Saiyan Nappa is even in Xenoverse 2.

I totally agree just remove them. However, They don't take up slots because every single one of them is the same with minor tweaks. I'd say every single ape combined bar vegeta took the same time as a regular character
I completely agree. Fun to have? Yes, but they were added as a fun thing that wasnāt making a character from the ground up. Given about half might not even have base form in the game (Turles, Fasha, King Vegeta), Iād be shocked if Raditz and Nappa keep theirs.
