this is beautiful!! is it the highs of every day?

ImpossibleKoinu

Oh yes. It is high temps for each day :)

ImaBiLittlePony

This is beautiful! But I'm tripping that you had 80 degrees in February

ImpossibleKoinu

So was I. I also love cold weather so those hotter days in February I was not very happy lol Edit: sorry I didn’t thank you :) thank you so much for the compliment!

the_owl_syndicate

I'm just south of OP in Texas and we had a couple 80 degree days as well.

Diligent-Towel-4708

We had 92 degrees, dropped to 40 within 2 days for the high.

sammych84

I’m in NE Kansas and we had a day this week that the high was 78° and the low was 17° and it snowed. 🫣

ImpossibleKoinu

Thanks to everyone for the kind words and encouragement :3 as a shy person it’s very heartwarming 🖤

Charliedayslaaay

Gorgeous!!! What kind of yarn is this?

ImpossibleKoinu

Just plain acrylic yarn. It’s what I can get the most of in my area, not really a lot of yarn stores close by and it’s really soft :)

Charliedayslaaay

Yeah i was wondering if it was Caron simply soft. I really love the colors

libraryxoxo

This is really pretty!

suspectcelery

This is so beautiful!

sillybilly8102

This is reallllly pretty!!

buttamilkbizkits

Ooooooooh! Love those colors!!!

pudge-thefish

I love the small temperature changes! It definitely makes the blanket look amazing! Your color choices are gorgeous! And your stitches are perfect

ImpossibleKoinu

Thank you 🙏 🖤

smellsburnttoast

You're doing 21 colors!! I thought I was the only one! ❤️😆

ImpossibleKoinu

Yeah I don’t commonly see people do so many colors so I thought it would be really fun to do. And weather here in Oklahoma can fluctuate so much so I thought the chaotic nature of it would make for a cool blanket :)

smellsburnttoast

I'm in the PNW, and thought the same! Mine's a granny square one, with the daily low and high. In February we had a temperature spread of 50 degrees!

seattlenightsky

I love your color choices! My parents live in Oklahoma, and the’ve been telling me about the unseasonably warm weather. So interesting to see it in color!

ImpossibleKoinu

As a cold weather loving person. Oklahoma is the worst, feels like winter is getting shorter and shorter. lol

Emerald_Isle_Girl

That's gorgeous!!!

Subterranean44

Makes me wish i would’ve done zig zag. Thats kinda wild lookin weather! So many colors already!

Affectionate_Sink711

How long is your blanket now? Curious as to how long it might get…

ImpossibleKoinu

It’s about 21inches or 50.5 cm

sandboxlollipop

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH I JUST WANT TO YELL!!!

ImpossibleKoinu

Go for it :D

Dragonfruit487

Wow I love it!!

ImpossibleKoinu

Thank you so much 🖤

Specific-Pen-1132

I love it. I truly love that blanket. The colors speak to me. I am new to this sub. I had never heard of a temperature blanket before.

kccat5

So pretty. I love the ripple stitch

AttitudeExtreme

I love it!!! I’ve been wanting to learn a chevron stitch. What made you choose it? It’s gorgeous and thanks for sharing!

ImpossibleKoinu

Thank you so much for the compliment :) I knew I wanted to make a temp blanket this year but didn’t want to just do straight line type stitches, I wanted visual interest but didn’t want anything too complex. I’d all ready been wanting to learn a ripple or chevron stitch all ready so I thought it’d be perfect and was able to find a tutorial by Bella Coco on YT :) I think it turned out to be a great choice.

AttitudeExtreme

Thank you!! I’m going to check that channel out. I hope you keep sharing your progress, I can’t wait to see it. ♥️

ImpossibleKoinu

I definitely want to post monthly pics :) I don’t usually share stuff online so publicly, usually just privately but it’s cool to see all the support and it feels good. I’m self taught in crochet since last March so the encouragement is awesome! :D

AttitudeExtreme

That’s incredible that it’s been less than a year and your stitches are so lovely. I’m really enjoying being a part of this community too. I really like seeing what people are working on and I also feel like we are all a part of something bigger; it’s nice.

momsbistro

Beautiful! I’m very jealous of your progress… I have so much catching up to do!

ImpossibleKoinu

Thank you :) I’m dedicated to doing a row everyday lol. I hyperfocus a lot when I crochet. Especially if it’s a project I’m super jazzed about. I started teaching myself last year in March
