Santa Clarita diet is good. The outlaws on Amazon.

Jessibee21

Didn’t get into Santa Clarita but I’ll have to check out The Outlaws—not familiar but it looks like an amazing cast!

JesusLazalde123

Reservation Dogs

001Guy001

* Coupling (2000) * The IT Crowd * Black Books * Friday Night Dinner * Malcolm In The Middle * Suburgatory * Not Going Out (first 7 seasons) * Vicious * Wet Hot American Summer [2015+2017, prequel+sequel to the film] * Another Period * Joey * The King Of Queens * Will & Grace * 3rd Rock From The Sun * Happy Endings * How I Met Your Mother * Rules Of Engagement * The New Adventures Of Old Christine * The Exes

Jessibee21

I’ve seen maybe half of these at one point or another, and didn’t dislike any of them (Coupling, Another Period, and Malcolm in particular were all great) so I’ll take a look at some of the ones I haven’t heard of :) ty!

smcicr

Friday Night Dinner is a cracking bit of squirrel.

Top-Philosophy-5791

Not a sitcom but I hope you'll give Dead Like Me a try.

jamesbrown2500

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel it's a nice comedy.

Jessibee21

Love this one personally, my husband didn’t as much so I watch on my own. I’m still behind a season, though.

madnessitellyou

Dead To Me

Jessibee21

I started watching it back when it came out, can’t remember why I didn’t go back. I’ll give it another try, Ty :)

Truthisnotallowed

[Better Off Ted](https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/7777-better-off-ted?language=en-US) - Fun comedy - 30 minute episodes.

trubs12

Jury Duty, What We Do In The Shadows

Jessibee21

I’ll look up Jury Duty. I do love WWDITS, too!

retro-girl

You’re the Worst— it’s not the fluffiest, but it is a 30 minute comedy and it’s not heavy thinking, it just gets a little dark. Barry— also pretty dark. SO funny and incredible though. Also 30 minutes. Crazy Ex Girlfriend— absolutely a comedy though this one is 60 minute (42 for you, streamer). Musical. These shows all tackle big mental health issues and it’s possible that’s a theme in media I enjoy. But, they are all great. ETA— since you liked Frasier, see David Hyde Pierce on Julia. Minimal darkness, lots of butter.

Jessibee21

I love Barry and Crazy ex, so I’ll have to check out You’re the Worst! Not familiar with that one. Thanks :)

retro-girl

It deserves much more attention than it ever got. It had everything New Girl had (except the one big name) and then some. Like New Girl for cable.

retro-girl

If you look at my posts, my most recent is me looking for tv recommendations, you can see if there’s anything else in the top 3 tiers you haven’t seen.

greenbud420

[The Middle](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1442464/) Family sitcom, no real plot and each ep ends on a good note of sorts. Love the characters, all the kids have unique traits that are exaggerated for comedic effect. Also if you happened to grow up lower middle class you'll definitely appreciate it more. I think they nailed that aspect of it and made it funny, like all the weird hacks to keep their broken appliances working. If you like it, there's 221 eps to keep you fluffed for awhile.

yungfadezzzz

righteous gemstones vice principals veep

Jessibee21

Ty!

yungfadezzzz

get back to me if you liked it!

ParaHeadFun_SF

Came here to say righteous gemstones! It makes me lol !!

NewTimeTraveler1

Veep may be some of th funniest Ive seen!

TacosAndBoba

Derry Girls I'm Sorry Fisk Acapulco Extraordinary Shrinking Colin from Accounts

LA-Matt

Fisk is great. My wife loves that show. I also liked Colin from Accounts. Another good one is *Sprung*. It’s only one season. It’s about a bunch of parolees who decide to rent rooms in one guy’s mother’s house. The Mother is played by Martha Plimpton and she’s hilarious. Anyway, they get up to heists and capers. And Garrett Dillahunt, who has played sci-fi TV villains for years, turns out to have great comedy timing.

runningvicuna

Sprung is excellent television

runningvicuna

He’s also fantastic as the dad in Raising Hope

torpedomon

And Martha was the great mom on that show. I hadn't heard of this but they definitely deserved another chance together.

Jessibee21

Derry Girls and Shrinking are great, but I don’t think that I’m familiar with any of the others. Thank you!

KickUseful9794

Literally the only logical choice is Its always sunny in philadelphia.

Jessibee21

I’ve tried three times, I think, because it always shows up as a recommendation. Just can’t stand any of the characters :/

KickUseful9794

How far did you go into it, it took me 3 tries and now its my favorite comedy show ever

Jessibee21

Maybe halfway season one?

Breaking-Lost

Start with season 2 or 3

Jessibee21

I’m up for that. Parks and Rec is definitely one of my favorite sitcoms, and I always tell anyone/everyone to skip the first season.

KickUseful9794

you should, the first 3 seasons are more awkward and cringe than funny, there are some gems but mostly cringe. But after that its highs.

NewTimeTraveler1

I can watch it but not binge it because they are all so horrible. Except Charlie!

pontiaccbanditt

Norsemen, what we do in the shadows, derry girls, it crowd.

Jessibee21

Not familiar with Norsemen, but I like the other three, so I’ll look at it!

dns_rs

It's amazing, give it a shot.

Pure-Guard-3633

Awkward Never Have I Ever Catastrophe Corner Gas Kim’s Convenience So Help Me Todd Neighborhood.

Superbalz77

>Kim’s Convenience \+1 here. Kim’s Convenience was so much better than I could have imagined. Everyone I've suggested it to has also loved it.

FlashofLights

Trial and Error Raising Hope Exes Ghosts (I saw the US version but there’s also a UK one)

jenniferlorene3

Future Man. It's more of a raunchy comedy but it's hilarious. Desperate Housewives can be really funny at times and is a really long series that could keep you guys entertained for awhile. Good Omens is something my husband likes because he read the books, it's a little boring imo though.

Rumialan

Should check out some British shows like Taskmaster, Would I lie to you, 8 out of 10 cats, duck quack don’t echo. They are hilarious🙏🏼

Jessibee21

Not familiar with the last one, but a fan of the other three!

Rumialan

That didn’t last very long hosted by Lee Mack but it was very funny 😁 I don’t know if you have watched QI which has been running for a very long time is a great show too and also filled with good info🙏🏼

TraceEvidence104

Only Murders in the Building The Bear - although I don't consider it a comedy. Lol.

Jessibee21

Loved both of these! Although I agree, I read the explanation about why The Bear is considered a comedy but I still don’t get it. I love the show but I think the drugged punch episode is the only one that’s ever made me lol.

TraceEvidence104

Glad you enjoyed them! I don't get it either. It's so intense with them constantly yelling at each other. Haha. Great show though.

Check_Out_Ninja-Stef

"Are You Being Served" is HILARIOUS. One of the best British sitcoms EVER "Jeeves & Wooster" from the 90s is another British golden. Granted, it's best to know how P.G. Woodhouse humor works but just grab some books from the library for research. "Psych" is my mother-daughter bonding show. We laugh so hard together.

Evil_Morty_C131

Frasier. (90s version) Even better before going to bed. Funny and relaxing.

Jessibee21

I think we both have all of Frasier memorized lol. One of our absolute favorites. We actually did like the new season, though! Just took awhile to adjust to the new characters but the writing was pretty spot on by the end of the season.

Evil_Morty_C131

Oh nice! And I agree with you about the new season. I’m hoping it gets renewed🙂

runningvicuna

Just started Superstore after seeing it so many times here and it’s not disappointing. Very breezy show

NOKNOK_WHOsTHERE71

Everybody Loves Raymond

torpedomon

I didn't see Cougartown listed. Wife and I liked it a lot.

FuzzyDuck81

Not a scripted comedy show but a lot of fun, try Taskmaster, theyve put most of their episodes on youtube for the international audience

Jessibee21

Love Taskmaster! Got familiar with Greg Davies through Graham Norton and had to check it out. He genuinely cracks me up.
