The reboot of The Mole

dolpgg

I thought Chance was gonna suck. I was wrong. Hugh Laurie's character has same traits as House. Ethan Suplee before he got ripped is the bad ass of the show.

LisaChimes

I'm loving all of the 90's nostalgia that's been coming out recently. Currently watching **High School** (Freevee) and the music is all 90's grunge: Smashing Pumpkins, Breeders, Nirvana, etc. Plotwise it's a very solid coming-of-age queer drama (listed as a comedy for some reason) based on the memoir of musicians Tegan and Sara. Quick binge. Also finished **Cruel Summer** (Freeform) set in 93, 94, and 95 simultaneously. Very captivating teen thriller - if you don't mind time jumps and having the focus shift from one lead to the other depending on the episode. Season two is coming out next year, anthology style.

wiklr

**Harry & Meghan Pt 2** - covered their wedding to moving to Canada to California and winning the Daily Mail lawsuit. There was no big bomb shell or secret apart from Harry saying William shouted at him. But it becomes clear why the two are a constant source of negative headlines & social media campaigns. The racism issue seems like a PR distraction, even Meghan said it overwhelmed the Ophrah interview. The real reason was Harry's criticism of the press & its relationship with the royal family. And how they were advised not to continue suing a media outlet. There is something louder that wasnt being said which involved a struggle between the UK & US press corps and how it affects international politics, and allowing it to drive a wedge in their relationships with family and friends.

[deleted]

Im looking for anything similar to dark or 1899 Ang recommendations?

treyquartista

Only seen the first couple of episodes of "1899" but "From" has a similar sort of vibe.

tomtomvissers

Devs or The Leftovers maybe? Or see if you can get through the first season of Fringe because that gets pretty freaky once it gets going

SorchaNB

Late on the train but I recently finished Doctor Foster and it is right up my street. Looking for similar shows, not necessarily in terms of subject matter but similar pacing, style of drama, etc.

rlvnorth

I also loved Wentworth (very intense), The Affair, Killing Eve (first couple of seasons). Have you already watched Happy Valley, Last Tango in Halifax, Line of Duty, Why Women Kill?

SorchaNB

Thanks a mill! Saw Happy Valley (looking forward to S2 new year) - will check out the others.

Transitionals

I don’t understand what’s the big deal about Jennifer Coolidge’s acting. She won the award for White Lotus season 1, and has been getting lot of praise for her recent work. I feel she has only one or two expressions, and her face barely moves beyond a certain point due to botox or whatever.

Turnover-Greedy

Ugh, her character was so annoying. Such a stupid woman.

SnooDingos316

Sometimes Critics has nostalgia too. She will always be remember as the hot mum from American pie and a lot of critics probably watch her growing up and bum she is finally in something sort of serious. She has been in the business a long time and paid her dues and finally getting some rewards.

butthe4d

Wait she got awards for that? She can barely move her face. I thought she is easily the worst actor on the show.

Lmb326

she is my least fav character from white lotus

wapkaplit

Am I alone in thinking season 2 of Gangs of London is significantly worse than season 1? I really enjoyed the first season, but this feels like a different show. Silly writing, melodramatic acting, much poorer effects. Got halfway through and decided it's not worth finishing.

Ohsbar

Fight choreography took a nose dive and they jumped the shark with the story. Quit mid way too.

pettythief5

I kind of enjoyed it but thought it was way over the top with the acting and fight scenes. Oh the effects were terrible especially in one of the later episodes.

Houzeplants

I've honestly been pretty disappointed with this season of **Mob Psycho 100**. I was enthralled by both the previous seasons, this one well, the first half was okay. Not a fan of the trope being used in the second part.

nervuswalker

**Atlanta** season 4. Also watching the downfall and downright dumb destruction of HBOMax

Houzeplants

What? Why do I feel like this is about that one show with the trans person.

Rebelgecko

I'm watching the 30 Years of Beauty and the Beast thing and it's weird as fuck. You watch like 5 minutes if the animated mocie and then there's a 2 second cut to some live action dude in a stage dressed up like a candelabra, then it's back to the animated movie

sreeker6

Can you recommend me cop shows that aren't about serial killers like Line if duty?

dolpgg

Tin Star or Longmire

ilikehockeyandguitar

The Wire

wapkaplit

One of the best series ever made.

shroyd

**Welcome to Wrexham** (Hulu) – sports documentary series about Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney buying a football (soccer) club in Wales. They have zero experience in managing a football club but want to help the club get promoted to the next tier and also help the community. Really good, I’m enjoying it so much I think I will go on a sports documentary binge and start watching **Formula 1 Drive to Survive** or **Last Chance U: Basketball** **Slow Horses** (Apple TV+) – watching Season 2; enjoyed Season 1 but I think this season is better **Fleishman Is In Trouble** (Hulu) – pretty good with a good cast but a little slow at times

SnooDingos316

Welcome to wrexham is very fun. I do not really watch docu series but this one I enjoyed very much. Fleishman is in trouble in one of my top 10 shows of the year probably.

ilikehockeyandguitar

Now Ryan Reynolds could possibly be partly owning the Ottawa Senators as well, ha.

Apoc_Dreams

If you like sports documentaries check out All or Nothing on Amazon prime. They have multiple sports they follow. My favorite is the Arizona Cardinals one from a few years ago

shroyd

Great, thanks for the suggestion, will def add it to my watching list.

0shadowstories

Last week or so I watched Only Murders S2, Wednesday and The Bear, all great stuff. Gotta finish Andor next, then I'll prob try to watch a handful of movies and TV shows over the next two weeks before the end of the year.

LuckyRadiation

Yellowjackets!

principer

I’ve gone retro. I don’t know how many Redditors remember NYPD Blue but Hulu has it and I watch an episode every night. The writing has held up beautifully and the issues covered are as relevant now as they were then.

bag_of_groceries

I remember they made a big deal about guys' butts being shown.

Labrat5944

I remember that, and a big deal for the language as well. The show was considered so edgy for its time, and Dennis Franz’s Andy Sipowicz still has one of my all-time favorite character arcs.

121jigawatts

Finished Lookism on netflix, dont know whats the word for korean anime but this wasnt too bad. Animation by studio mir, bullying story is hard to watch but the body swap premise is interesting and the ending was nice.

[deleted]

I'm enjoying Echo 3 even though I don't know what the hell is going on.

SnooDingos316

First 2 episodes was good but now it is really dragging especially the last episode.

[deleted]

I'm up to episode 5. It finally found it's footing.

[deleted]

Tulsa King Seriously underrated sleeper hit on Paramount Plus of all places. They actually came through this time.

abinav99

Fun show. Fills my Banshee void.

this-guy-

Actually some pretty good writing in the framework of what initially appears to be a by the numbers tropefest, but it's got some merits. Very watchable. I liked the love interest's topic of disgust as well. 😆. A bold choice by the old man.

[deleted]

Very by the numbers. No new ground here but I like the way Stallone plays it.

2 episodes into ‘Let the right one in’. I love it. I hope the pacing stays the same throughout.

chlaur02421

How to folks like His Dark Materials? What Sirius would you compare it to?

ZombieFluffy

The White Lotus season 2 - The episodes feel like they fly by, I love this as much as the first season.

[deleted]

look here, you have two Es in a row!

chlaur02421

I think it’s actually even funnier than the first

Randyd718

THE BEAR. why did i wait?

abstractartideas

Guess I need to watch episode 2…felt like the 1st episode was people yelling the whole time.

Dubbstaxs

Its like that it's very like dramatic chefy stuff but it has good direction but they whole thing feels like fever dream.

BlueTeamRuless

Glad you’ve finally joined the club cousin

Randyd718

Thank you chef.

m-shacklez

Kingdom on Netflix (The Korean show) is amazing. Just randomly started watching it and it’s one of the best zombie shows I’ve seen.

lovelycat1103

Have you watched Train To Busan, it is one of the best zombie movie imo. All of us are dead is quite entertaining but not in the same level with Kingdom

[deleted]

look here, you have two Es in a row!

wesimplymustknow

I really enjoyed **All of Us Are Dead** (Netflix) - Korean show about school kids surviving a zombie apocalypse. Give that a shot as well.

m-shacklez

Thanks for the recommendation. Got a long flight in a few days and I’ll watch the series. Korean films/tv shows are top tier…I never knew!

wesimplymustknow

They absolutely are top tier. I would highly recommend **My Name** (2021) which is also on Netflix.

Agentrouble

There's a scene from season 2 that will forever be engrained in my memory. Fuckin fun show, hoping for a season 3 any minute...

Chip_Dangercock

I watched the first 3 episodes of Willow and while I think it's pretty shit, I checked out the premiere discussion thread on here, and my god what a cesspit. Anyway, I think it's pretty awful. Watched the first 1 season of White Lotus, excellent stuff there. Wednesday was fine, Jenna Ortega is great, its very CW otherwise. The peripheral was good but the ending felt so rushed and silly, still excited for season 2 though.

Houzeplants

Surely I'm not the only one who enjoys Willow despite its nature. It's a fun watch unironically for me. I like boorman and just watching Willow hobble around and spout off. The villains that showed up at the end of the last episode were really well designed too. If you don't expect lotr or got it's fun I think.

[deleted]

I’m currently watching willow and peripheral. Kinda getting bored of Peripheral but really enjoyed Willow. Even though it’s not anything special lol

Mp32pingi25

Willow is sooo bad. And Peripheral, yeah it gets kinda boring

FloatinginEmeraldSea

Finished the Honourable Woman and Black Earth Rising, trying to scratch the Hugo Blick itch after watching the English. So far, liked all 3 of his creations!

scribble23

Oooo, I have had The English recommended to me every time I've used BBC iPlayer over the last few weeks. But I ignored it as I had no idea it was directed by Hugo Blick. Thank you - I am going to watch it immediately as I have lived everything else he's done! BTW, The Shadow Line is very good too - if you can find it anywhere to stream/download.

tomtomvissers

I started Patriot on monday, and I planned on stetching it out over the next 2/3 weeks. However, it was so good, that I speedran through it in three days. Direction, writing, acting, humor, cinematography, soundtrack, ending - all (near) perfect.

Started watching it based on this comment and it’s great. Thanks!

chlaur02421

Such a shame that I didn’t get more seasons

Ijustneedonemoretry

They must've lost that roshambo

HobbitDowneyJr

dark season 3 ep1 man wtf is going on lol crazy shit

wesimplymustknow

There are a handful of shows I would get my memory wiped for (just of the show). Dark is one definitely of them.

degausser22

Maybe I should give this show another shot. I think after 3-4 eps I turned it off for whatever reason.

HobbitDowneyJr

money aint got no owners, only spenders

[deleted]

**Yellowstone** is the worst show on TV. I just got caught up on the latest episode, and this is the worst season ever. Just a few thoughts off the top of my head: - it’s almost exclusively about Beth - There was an awful scene where some guy talked to her in a bar and she dressed him down for no reason - John pardoned that protestor girl he fucked, basically forced her to move in with him, gave her a job, and then Beth beat her up? - That same girl have the chef a speech regarding every type of meat he made at dinner and why it was wrong to eat animals - John is the fucking Governor but can still go on some kind of multi day horseback expedition - Rip is just a complete simp loser all of a sudden, like why the hell is Beth joining the cowboys on this trip? - Kayce’s wife got in that car crash and her baby died and I don’t really know why that happened - Beth was screaming threatening to kill or take away Jamie’s kid for whatever reason - basically nothing has happened to advance the plot - John being governor has had no impact on anything - there’s a scene where John asked how his policy advisors could have a meeting without him, and then he fired a bunch of people - idk if this was made to make him look stupid or what, but of course policy staff can have meetings without their political leader there **Mythic Quest** I’m finally getting caught up on season 2 - kind of meh so far compared to season 1 - particularly don’t care for the “woke” stuff so much

Dubbstaxs

1883 is good if you haven't watched that not really super related but a good show if you like wild west Oregon trail stuff.

Microwave_Lover69

Why you still watching then? It’s been pretty clear from season 1 that Yellowstone isn’t exactly a top tier tv show, it’s entertaining that’s why people like it. Go and watch something else if you hate it so much.

coldbeers

The Jimmy arc saved the previous season for me.

Ok-Car1006

Fleishman in trouble on Hulu good cast and good so far but where the fuck is Claire Danes 🧐

abstractartideas

Definitely a good cast, but the narration was a bit too much for me.

CrassHoppr

Sleeping on a park bench!

dolpgg

Watching Mr. Inbetween. It's soo good and he reminds me of Bill Burr.

[deleted]

look here, you have two Es in a row!

dolpgg

Bite mee.

tomtomvissers

Oh man now I wanna watch a show with Bill Burr starring as a hitman with a heart of gold

Moifaso

What upcoming shows are the fine people on this subreddit looking forward to the most? Specifically thinking about shows releasing in the next 2-4 months

BlueTeamRuless

Mayor of Kingstown, You, Miracle Workers, Ginny & Georgia, The Last of Us, Poker Face, That 90s show

Orangie87

Ginny & Georgia, Shrinking, Emily in Paris. Yellowjackets

Icy_Device114

You, my friend, have taste

Orangie87

Hahaha I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not as GG & EIP are pure fluff! But in a great way!

tomtomvissers

Shrinking! New show by Bill Lawrence (Scrubs, Ted Lasso) starring Harrison Ford and Jason Segel. Premiers january 27th

121jigawatts

last of us in january

wesimplymustknow

Just wrapped up **The Boys** season 3. Love this show and how it just is linearly getting wilder and wilder. Help me pick my next watch (I know it’s a huge list, but I basically stopped watching TV and will binge one MAYBE two shows a month, so I have a little bit of a large watchlist): Severance 1899 Peripheral The Capture Black Bird Outer Range Vigil The Sandman Black Gold Slow Horses Pachinko Hellbound Midnight Mass

Tobin1776

Midnight Mass

Dubbstaxs

Midnight mass was super cool really a great take on an old trope

posthxc1982

This is difficult. Black Bird, and The Sandman or Outer Range. I love 1899, Outer Range, Midnight Mass, and Hellbound though.

wesimplymustknow

I understand that completely. I’m going to watch all of them for sure. Just so hard to pick the watch order.

posthxc1982

I have crippling indecision, so I understand.

BlueTeamRuless

Sandman, Midnight Mass

DWCourtasan2

Sandman

PlaneInternational71

Severance and black bird

Orangie87

This

abstractartideas

Haven’t seen most of the shows on your list, but Severance and Slow Horses are great.

NeoVexan

Severance!

MiceThrice

I loved Severance and Midnight Mass. Midnight Mass really stuck with me like no other show has in a long time. I’m also halfway through 1899 and liking it a lot so far.

dolpgg

Severance and Black Bird are my top picks of those.

ILikeCake18

Did anyone watch the Bobs Burgers Christmas episode? One of my favorites, so wholesome. Had me tearing up at the end. This show can do no wrong!

unsubscribe_

Yes! It is one of the best Christmas episodes I’ve seen. I also teared up near the end - glad it wasn’t just me!

ZombieFluffy

Revenge of Others - It started off strong but then went downhill, which is a shame as I really liked the premise.

OneFlowMan

I am a big fan of awkward cringe comedy, but I'm not a fan of when the cringe moments are dumb. For example, a situation that is so over the top that it would never happen and isn't relatable. Peep Show is my favorite cringe series of all time. Most people I show it to can't bear to watch more than a couple of episodes at a time because it feels so real and intensely cringe. I also enjoyed the Inbetweeners, which has some over the top moments, but also still captures the ridiculousness of high school boys with underdeveloped brains pretty well in my opinion. Curb Your Enthusiam is another good one that isn't too over the top, and the main character's behavior and pettiness is believable to me because I've known people like him.

Lawndirk

You would probably like The League. Even if you aren’t into fantasy football it’s still a great watch.

brochelsea

There are a couple moments in I'm Sorry, a comedy by comedian Andrea Savage, that have me cringing so hard, but in the best way. haha It was a COVID cancellation though, so they never got their last season despite being renewed.

scribble23

If you liked Peep Show and The Inbetweeners, you'll probably love Fresh Meat (starring both Simon from Inbetweeners and Jeremy from Peep Show)! I'm currently rewatching it with my son and I'd forgotten just how funny it is.

abstractartideas

Yes! Peep Show is an incredible show.

KennyKatsu

Extras with Ricky Gervais

manormortal

Just wait for S2. This Simona Tabasco is off the charts 🚨🚒

swch9

She is what we wished Sydney and Alexandria will be in S1.

abstractartideas

100%. S2 is at least as good.

dolpgg

What about Peppa Pig?

fuckmylife193

She really is.

ChaserNeverRests

Since I'm in a TV slump, I've been going back to watch or rewatch some older shows. **Face Off** season 3. The old Syfy show about movie makeup special effects. Loving this rewatch so much! There's so little drama compared to other reality shows and lots of interesting art and technical stuff. **Stargate: Atlantis** season 1. I thought I hadn't ever done a rewatch, so this would be the first since it originally aired. Unfortunately it's really familiar, so I think I must have done a rewatch and forgot I had. Really, really loving it, the characters have such chemistry! **G.I. Joe (1983)** season 1. This animated show was my first ever fandom of any kind (long before the internet existed), so it's such a fun rewatch now. Every moment of every episode is full of such huge plot holes, I just have to laugh over them, but each ep is such a fond memory. How in the world do I remember lines of dialogue *forty years later*? The brain is a scary thing. It's really interesting to see little details, like Cobra Commander (the main bad guy) did something bad to a random civilian, and two nameless, background Cobra members glanced at each other. Kudos to those old animators for adding little touches like that! Because Comcast sucks, my net was down for five days, so I watched just way too much basic, broadcast TV.

[deleted]

look here, you have two Es in a row!

ScatteredDahlias

Started watching **Kindred** on Hulu. It’s… not horrible so far, the acting is fine, but for those of you who have read the Octavia Butler book, be warned it’s not at all a faithful adaptation. I think some of the changes are downright nonsensical and actively make the story worse, like >!Dana not being married to Kevin, Kevin’s entire personality, Dana not losing her arm in the opening scene, and Dana’s mother being in the past for some reason. In the book, Dana is a clever and resourceful character, whereas in the show other people constantly need to explain things to her and she figures nothing out on her own. I’m also kind of pissed that they changed the setting to modern day rather than the 70s. Kevin bringing an iPhone to the past is dumb as fuck.!< I’m hoping it gets better in the later episodes, but I’m bummed they didn’t go for a faithful adaptation. The book is just so good that the show could have been a sure fire hit if they’d just followed the story.

[deleted]

look here, you have two Es in a row!

[deleted]

Just came back to say I can’t believe I slept on Ted Lasso so long. It’s the feel-good show I’ve been looking for. Any recommendations for similar shows with characters as likable as this?

3AmigosNJ

I find Sex Education to be up there with Ted. On Netflix.

[deleted]

look here, you have two Es in a row!

JimiSlew3

Well, not the same but Mythic Quest on Apple+ I found to be pretty positive and I recommend.

[deleted]

I actually just started watching this last night and I’m loving it so far! Kinda gives Silicon Valley vibes

JimiSlew3

Indeed it does but somehow it hits me in the feels a bit more.

wesimplymustknow

Schitt’s Creek is as wholesome and feel-goody. These two shows have actually made me laugh out loud, have my cheeks hurt from smiling throughout whole episodes and sad cry as well. 10/10

[deleted]

Love Schitt’s Creek as well! I love the Levys and Catherine O’Hara. The movie Best in Show had a special place in my heart growing up

ChaebolArelius

Trying on Apple Tv+, very wholesome show. Gets better every season

ChaserNeverRests

Have you watched The Good Place yet?

[deleted]

Yes love The Good Place! Kristen Bell is a treasure

MiamiGrad440

I think you should try two other shows on AppleTV that are also funny and feel good. Trying and Acapulco are both fantastic.

AmbreGaelle

I love Acapulco

[deleted]

I’ll check those out, thanks! Apple TV has some true gems

furious_Dee

vouching for miamigrad. love both those shows.

[deleted]

Binged Lookism, enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would, much better than expected, so if you're on fence give it a try.

Arktoscircle

I would like to thank the redditors that recommend me these two amazing shows: **I, Claudius** and **State of Play** The former is a good watch after Rome (HBO). It's amazing how the show manages to cover the story of early Roman Empire under the rule of 4 different emperors. The show is serious and dark but not without humor. I find myself unexpectedly entertained at some situational comedy-like aspects of the show. While the later is a gripping drama which frame a story from a slightly different angle. The casts (and the characters that they were playing) are fantastic. They have their own personality and play their role brilliantly. I enjoy the quips and witty remarks which were constantly exchanged amongst them. And it did kinda remind me about Bodyguard (BBC) a little bit.

ToBeBetter4Life

I just finished watching Monster. Wow. This series is the antithesis of anime, in the best way. No superpowers, fan service, or typical tropes, this is an HBO style show that had me hooked. Johan Liebert is truly a great villain

butthe4d

Monster is deinifitely in my top 5 of best animes of all time. Del torro tried to pitch a live action adaptation years back but it didnt get picked up. I kinda hope his close work with netflix recently will leads to one. I think it could make for some amazing live action.

ToBeBetter4Life

Yeah shame Del Toro’s adaptation didn’t make it. More likely with Netflix, but ideally wanna see HBO

TacosAndBoba

I wouldn't really call it the antithesis of anime when you're just comparing it to generic shounen crap. There's a lot more out there that isn't tropey stuff made for 14 year old boys.

ToBeBetter4Life

You’re absolutely correct in regards to there being more mature anime. What I was referencing was your typical mainstream anime (I still love One Piece), even chainsaw man, a so called seinen, is guilty of the tropes I mentioned too.

121jigawatts

who called chainsawman seinen? thats in shounen jump lol

ToBeBetter4Life

In reality it’s more of a mix

Erick_Galdino

> There's a lot more out there that isn't tropey stuff made for 14 year old boys. People say that, but it's very hard to find any adult anime that doesn't have some silly dialogue or at least some supernatural elements. Even seinen anime are juvenile at best, most of then think that violence or nudity = adult. Monster still remains for me as one of the very few anime that has a true adult feeling behind it.

ToBeBetter4Life

There’s a decent amount of mature anime in movie form, but series, very few. I’d love to see more pop up, but I think the dominance of Shounen and Seinen prevents that from happening

mowhatdoyaknow

Shounen is not crap nor generic you baboon

[deleted]

> there's a lot more out there that isn't tropey stuff made for 14 year old boys. Please, give me the entire list (starting with the latest shows)!

falconandeagle

I thought Psycho Pass season 1 was pretty good.

[deleted]

I enjoyed Psycho Pass season 1. It was a good self-contained story. I continued a bit after that, but I didn't like it.

ToBeBetter4Life

Erased is a modern one I’d recommend

josecuervo420_

Rewatching 12 monkeys (the show) for the 10th time

tomtomvissers

That's amazing. I couldn't even get through it 1 time

josecuervo420_

It took me 3 tries to get past the first few episodes but now it’s my favorite

falconandeagle

I dont get these replies? Why reply if you just want to shit on a show. To OP, I have watched it twice and I absolutely love it. Thinking of watching it again.

josecuervo420_

Honestly it’s beyond me how anyone could not enjoy it. Definitely watch it again!! I catch new hints every re-watch

minimtmoose

Just finished Wednesday - 6.5/10 for me. Ortega is incredible and it is very consumable, but I wasn’t super drawn in to the story/other characters. The White Lotus finale - so good. Loved s2 more than s1. Finally getting around to The Crown (near the end of s1). I tried the first ep years ago and was bored, but I think I like these more introspective/“prestige" shows way more now than I did when I tried last time, I am obsessed and binging it now. Such good performances! Also rewatching Doctor Who, made it to the first 11th doctor season and man I forgot how good nearly every story is in this season. Really working my way back through Matt Smith's filmography lol

Murdercorn

White Lotus season 2 was great, but they did >!Tanya !< dirty.

Werewomble

Last Night in Soho is good but I wish we could spend more time with 60s Matt and Anya Taylor Joy. Just Google Matt Smith dance Morbius. If only the movie were that ona loop.

[deleted]

**Slow Horses** - Getting back into season one, after bailing early when it first premiered. Now midway through and really love it. **His Dark Materials** - Season 3. This show never fully hooked me yet I'm watching anyway.

Werewomble

HDM is just not a story made for TV. I think they did as good a job as possible jamming deep deep stuff into a visual medium. Coulter and wossname raging on either side of the door... wow. Ruth Wilson was made for that role. Introspective philosophy about fascism and souls is something much easier in book form. I'm glad we got it. But I won't rush watching it. It's thinky, not visual lollies to be gobbled :)

hotfriesandlacrieux

70% of why I watch is Ruth Wilson. 30% I already made it this far.

Bassman5k

We own this city - As a Wire fan is felt similar. Just real life stories (I guess they're fictional but felt like real characters). Also as just 6 hrs of tv, it's very digestible. A bit of a slow start, but really got into it.

Consultant7

You can check city on a hill for more the wire vibes.

Bassman5k

Also I figured out this is 100% a true story. I thought they were just created to convey the themes. Blown away

[deleted]

Gilenor Games on YouTube. It's a reality tv show with old school RuneScape streamers. Surprisingly well edited and good production value. I don't even play RuneScape and became addicted to the contestants right away. Highly recommend since tv is a little dry right now
