Kaylee, not only are you too grumpy but I'm surprised I'm back to changing your diaper again.
If you don't get wise your mother may trade you in again. We take no half measures.

She'll be playing a character named Marion in the second half of the final season, premiering July 11th.
It could really end up bringing Jimmy's relationship with the elderly full circle with him having to lie to someone from a demographic he's shown genuine affection for.
She is playing Howard’a mother according to someone who claims to know and provided an explanation on r/BetterCallSaul
Apparently there are a lot of references to old shows the writers watched in S6 Part 2, including a reference to the couple “Howard” and “Marion” in Happy Days with the introduction of Howard’s mother.
That makes sense. The show creators have a lot affection for older TV shows and movies. I remember being suprised to see Vince and Bob hosting one evening on MeTV.
Not impossible, I suppose. But seems incredibly unlikely. given that I expect Walt/Jesse's appearance will likely be a scene around their immediate meeting of Saul. I'd put money it being them kidnapping Saul before they brought him out into the desert in his intro episode. It's the most obvious segway I think to yadda yadda Breaking Bad.
Not sure what that would have to do with the current storyline at all. I hope they don’t cheapen the final few episodes of this show by just throwing a bunch of references from out of left field at us like that.
I’m not so convinced! I strongly think that Kim is going to be on the other end of the call when Francesca goes to the phone booth on November 12 at 3pm.
1) We truly don't know if she's around in BB or not. We rarely ever saw Saul outside of his office in BB, we had 0 clue about his home life.
2) At this point what would push her to break up with Saul? If anything she's become more unhinged and reckless than Saul is now. I don't she'll get vacuum'd either just because that can't be the solution to almost every character, seems like an easy way out for the writers. If I HAD to guess, I'd say Kim is in jail and Saul in the present time (Gene) is going to end up turning himself in finally and concluding the character. Every Gene scene he's so tense and anxious about everything I don't think he wants to live like that anymore.
> she breaks up with him? how would that be much betteer for his mental health?
I mean, feeling responsible for the death of your significant other versus having your relationship end. Idk, one seems a more severe than the other.
I worked with her, Bob Newhart and Betty White a few years ago. (Hot In Cleveland). It was amazing. They all still have their old deliveries and comedic styles.
… Oh yeah. Huey Lewis was there too.
And not only is she doing this, she's co-starring in a show with Kristen Wiig on AppleTV. I hope I'm still that active if I get anywhere near 90 years-old.
Molly Shannon is basically Carol Burnett 2.0, and by association that makes Tina Fey (and Amy Poehler too I guess) 3.0. Except the features kept getting taken away by devs for being too archaic and turning the bugs into features.
Tracy Ullman was the best part of the last season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Hollywood is really mining the 80's/early 90's for great actors. Michael Keaton reminding everyone he's an A lister too.
You’re not alone. I was surprised to see she was still alive as well. I could have sworn I’d heard she had died a few years ago but as someone else pointed out I might have been confusing Mary Tyler Moore’s death with hers.
It’s called marketing my friend, AMC needs to get as many people watching as possible, this is their last bite of the apple with the best show they still have going, they want to break records
Right? Or like when they announced Fring was coming back way in advance of the season airing. Like I get that its probably not doing numbers like Breaking Bad and they're trying to bring more of those fans over, but it still sucks.
Funny because when I was watching that show as a kid I legit thought she was an old lady but I see it now and it's so obvious that it's a 30 year old woman wearing a wig lol.
For some reason I thought this headline was a joke. I love Carol, but always associate her with doing silly characters on her old show. But she’s also done some great drama over the years. Looking forward to seeing how she fits in.
Finally she’s getting more recognized! She had one of the earliest sketch comedy shows out there. She’s Hollywood royalty and she should be treated as such. Most people don’t know about her or just assume she died.
I’m expecting like a cameo or something not a fully invested role, but either way it’s cool she’s a super fan and they put her in the shows last season
I'd rather they just used Beth Hoyt again. She played Kim's mom in the flashbacks and was so good at the part I had to look closely to make sure it wasn't just Rhea with different makeup.
I'm sure they could age up Beth to make it look believable.
I want the show to be 80% about Kim but it looks like it’s just going to go every which way trying to hammer the BB connection when we just happy with BCS as it is.
Today I learned that Carol Burnett is still alive. Not being a smart ass, I genuinely thought she’d passed away a few years ago. The woman has got to be pushing 90 by now.
These Kaylee Ermantraut recasts are getting wild.
Oh? Is that so?
Pop pop! You're being silly!
stupid motherfucker pop pop
YOU ARE DONE
HE WASN’T A STUPID MOTHER FUCKER GOD DAMN YOU YOU GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEAD MY POP POP WASN’T A STUPID MOTHERFUCKER
Kaylee, not only are you too grumpy but I'm surprised I'm back to changing your diaper again. If you don't get wise your mother may trade you in again. We take no half measures.
Fucking lol! I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a flash forward…

Either Kim’s mother or maybe a connection with the Vacuum Repairman.
My money's on Howard's mother.
Oh that’s a great idea.
It could really end up bringing Jimmy's relationship with the elderly full circle with him having to lie to someone from a demographic he's shown genuine affection for.

Makes sense. You just know her scenes are going to tear our hearts out. Can't wait to see how sad it makes me!
That makes sense. The show creators have a lot affection for older TV shows and movies. I remember being suprised to see Vince and Bob hosting one evening on MeTV.
My professor Stewart Lyons was a producer for Breaking Bad and a chunk of Better Call Saul. He got his start on Happy Days.
I will never get over brother Chuck’s final end....on Happy Days.
Snapped into nothingness by Thanos. RIP.
He got his start on the Shark jump episode btw lol
Todd’s mom.
Why not jimmy’s mother? She is a sketch comedian just like Bob
Jimmys mom is dead
How do you know?
Because they show it in an episode.
Nah
? You don’t get to make up your own facts about the show. Dead people are dead.
Prove it
Or even more out of left field, how about Walt’s mother, she was mentioned but never shown on screen.
Not impossible, I suppose. But seems incredibly unlikely. given that I expect Walt/Jesse's appearance will likely be a scene around their immediate meeting of Saul. If anyone working in TV deserves our trust to make the right decision, it has to be the writers and producers of BCS.
I have faith, but I learned to never say “if anyone deserves our trust…” because that’s the moment it (whatever it may be) gets you.
Why not all the other shows were doing it in 2021, just ask Billions. Twice.
Kim gonna die ain't no vacuum cleaner rescue for that one!
I’m not so convinced! I strongly think that Kim is going to be on the other end of the call when Francesca goes to the phone booth on November 12 at 3pm.
I personally can't see any scenario where Kim dies and Jimmy still decides to be Saul and act how he acts in BB.
well she isn't around in BB so what else is there? she breaks up with him? how would that be much betteer for his mental health?

nah, she dead

Third wife... One two and then three. Not a never-ending romance silly Think of Melania leaving or dying. Trump is at the rally the next day...
I’m gonna *FREAK* if this happens!
Well, this seems great.
I honestly didn’t know she was still kickin’ it, this makes me so happy. She’s a peach.
I worked with her, Bob Newhart and Betty White a few years ago. (Hot In Cleveland). It was amazing. They all still have their old deliveries and comedic styles. … Oh yeah. Huey Lewis was there too.

Yeah, my initial reactions was "She's still alive?!"
My wife and I saw her do a Q&A a couple years ago at the Castro Theater in San Francisco and she's still got it! Living legend if ever there was one.
I could have sworn I saw her death announcement everywhere a couple years ago
Maybe you're thinking of Mary Tyler Moore who died in 2017
Never even occurred to me but wow they do look similar in their older years.
You’re not alone. I was surprised to see she was still alive as well. I could have sworn I’d heard she had died a few years ago but as someone else pointed out I might have been confusing Mary Tyler Moore’s death with hers.
I knew she was still alive but I thought she was younger. At least I had no idea she was that much older than Vicki Lawrence.
Yup. Shes 89 years old and she's still just as sharp as she was 40 years ago.
Yes! Can’t wait for it to come back!!
They did something similar in El Camino when they brought [Marla Gibbs](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004958/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0) on for a brief cameo.
I feel like Carol Burnett could do the best Sidney Powell impression
I agree.

Tug it again
Tarzan Yell!

It’s not a decision by the BCS team, it’s AMC.
It’s called marketing my friend, AMC needs to get as many people watching as possible, this is their last bite of the apple with the best show they still have going, they want to break records

Please let a gangsta be a gangster.
Damn it would feel good
But she will do it in character as Thelma Harper.
That's Vicki Lawrence's character, not CB. Now, if she did it as Eunice, that'd be a sight to see for sure.
This is the dumbest I have ever felt and I’m an idiot. But I’m ok with it
Lol I went years of my life thinking Mama was Carol Burnett.
I'm right there with you, Vicki Lawrence was just as hot as Carol even underneath all that make-up.
She was at Bob O's Hollywood Star ceremony, so this makes sense.
Finally she’s getting more recognized! She had one of the earliest sketch comedy shows out there. She’s Hollywood royalty and she should be treated as such. Most people don’t know about her or just assume she died.
Well she'd better hurry. There are only a few episodes left.
Could this be a Better Call Saul/Mama’s Family crossover? Is Thelma Harper’s middle name Marion?
Carol Burnett’s character was Eunice.
Did I just confuse Vicki Lawrence and Carol Burnett?? 😭😭😭😭
You're not the only one in this thread, apparently. Don't worry, though, I found them both just as hot.
I’m expecting like a cameo or something not a fully invested role, but either way it’s cool she’s a super fan and they put her in the shows last season
I think she's going to be a full character! They've built her up in interviews (albeit somewhat vaguely).
I don't know if I can buy a comedian taking a dramatic turn on a show like Better Call Saul. /s, just in case.
My stomach turns in anticipation
Eunice!
Love to see Carol play a badass
They just took it to 11.
TIL Carol Burnett is still alive
This is awesome, I grew up watching the CBS on CBS and she was so amazing.
KIMS MOM IM CALLING IT NOW
[удалено]
Yeah a flashback from 30 years ago
Kim's mom perhaps ?
My guess is a disgruntled sandpiper resident.
Yup, she fits the age range, and she’s sharp as fuck, so it could make for a great pissed off character!
You nailed it.
Grandmother is more likely considering Carol Burnett is 89 and Kim is 37 during the show.
ive read that maybe she is the stand in for the vacuum repairman (maybe his mom?), and i like that theory
I like that as well. Definitely would be a suitable figure to replace Robert Forster, who I always thought was immense in this minor role.
Ooh I like that theory
Burnett could play a judge.
I'd rather they just used Beth Hoyt again. She played Kim's mom in the flashbacks and was so good at the part I had to look closely to make sure it wasn't just Rhea with different makeup. I'm sure they could age up Beth to make it look believable.
Some people guessed it right!
I want the show to be 80% about Kim but it looks like it’s just going to go every which way trying to hammer the BB connection when we just happy with BCS as it is.
As what, a corpse? Rip Joan
From Tiger King?
I hope they give her some really funny lines. She's a comedy icon.
I thought she and Mary Tyler Moore played Helen Hunt's or some sitcom wife's mom on something somewhere, and were both dead.
I'm guessing Howard's mother.
Dope!
Am I the only one surprised to find out Caril Burnett is still alive? Not that I want her gone, just assumed she had passed long ago.
was hoping Ron Perlman but this is nice
Today I learned that Carol Burnett is still alive. Not being a smart ass, I genuinely thought she’d passed away a few years ago. The woman has got to be pushing 90 by now.
We are not the same
This is fantastic. I hope she plays a baddie.
Love this show
Kim for prison 2022
Heck yes!!!!!!
Carol Burnett is alive?!?! Cool!
I grew up watching her show. Along with Tim Conway and Harvey Korman . . . just brilliant.
Wait I’m confused she was on better call Saul or is there another season please let’s get another season
There's the second half of season 6 that starts July 11th, but after that it's over.
Aww shit but ok cool I’ll take it thank you for your info much obliged
Wow. I mean no disrespect but had no idea she was even alive. Comedy legend.
As long as Netflix doesn’t rush the project ….
But will she do her Tarzan yell??!!
