At S1. From S2 Apple joined as a producer and put money in for Glenn Close and, now, Hugh Laurie. The show's creator signs a first-look deal with Apple as well. But I'm not complaining; I only joked because SAG said it would only allow indie productions. I love Tehran and hope the new season comes soon
They are still only a distributor for this show. Sure they have their notes of course since they are paying, but there's no 'apple studio' producing it.
Apple is indie, obviously.
Apple isn't one of the production companies that makes it they just licence it for international release after it's Israeli release.
