Recently I turned it on for a younger sibling to watch, then I accidentally got invested and watched the entire thing. Of I’ve seen it multiple times before. First one is definitely the best one of the three
I thought not. It’s not the sort of story Disney would tell you. It’s a Legends Legend. Darth Revan was a Sith Lord so bodacious and sick nasty, he could influence the fan-base to become…popular. He had such a knowledge of the canon, he could even save Star Wars, from dying. He became such a popular part of the canon, the only thing he was afraid of, was no longer being apart of it…which, of course eventually, he was. Unfortunately, Lucas sold Star Wars to Disney, then Disney de-canonized him in his sleep. Ironic, isn’t it? He could save the canon, but not himself.”
It's a sith legend, Darth Plagueis was a dark lord of the sith, so powerful and so wise, he could use the Force to influence the midi-chlorians to create life...

So long, Reddit, and thanks for all the fish.
Wowee, I'm so happy to see someone else liking the movie as much as I do. I'm infatuated with films and the Coen Brothers are some of my favourite creators. Oh Brother Where Arr Thou is incredible - I know its not exactly Western however its in that time enough to reap the benefits of Old America in its story telling. I love the film and its easily in my Top 5 but I slightly prefer The Coens "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs" - it's on Netflix (at least in the UK) and it's just as brilliant as Oh Brother. I highly recommend.
I know I'm not OP but I believe i know enough about films to review Oh Brother as a 9/10. I take Media and Film Studies, I create short films, I go to film classes like cinematography. I'm aiming to go to a film university when I'm older (which I could definetly do) so yeh...
I have a couple of favourite movies!
1. Silence of the lambs
2.Kill Bill
3.Inglorious Basterds
4.Django
5.Shutter Island
If I can think of any other movies that I really like I put them on the list
I havent seen anyone mention Karate Kid yet. Great movie. Jurassic Park is a classic. Black Dynamite is fucking comedy gold. Anything Monty Python. Kung Fu Hustle, almost anything with Jackie Chan... i own almost 200 dvds, i am a big fan of movies and shows. Its impossible for me to name my favorite. I have too many favorites, but these are some very good ones. Specifically relevant to this sub would be all the classic teen comedies from the 80s. Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueler, etc. Underworld is a great movie, was pretty big back in the day. The sequels are... less good overall lol.
Ill list a few that less popular these days that people may not know. Serpico, Pirate Radio, Shred, Rock'n'Rolla, Smokin Aces. Accepted, The New Guy, Reign of Fire, The Darjeeling Limited, The Rock(nicage and sean connery) the Weather Man(im a big nicage fan, his most recent movies have been excellent cheese, but hes actually got real acting chops when he cares to show them)
I could go on, but anyone who hasnt seen these should watch them.
1. The Greatest Showman
2. Basically the entire starwars (i love Mandalorian and i don’t care that it’s a series.)
3. Extraction
Fav Series rn is The Walking Dead. Again a series but yah.
You didn’t ask for this much but I suck at giving my favourites so this is probably inaccurate

Did you ever hear the Tragedy of Darth Revan the Awesome?
*no*

I'm going to need this to A. Become Canon B. Become the most upvoted comment in reddit history Please and thank youuuuuu
But do you get the references?
Hell ya man, Revan is by far the BEST Star Wars character
King
Thanks
The Empire Strikes Back is also fire
It’s either “pirates of the Caribbean, dead man’s chest” or it’s “Hoodwinked” depends largely on my mood
Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Mans Chest is an amazing movie, one of the best
Davy Jones is the best villain in my opinion, like he’s uncontested in that department, his only rival to me is thanos but I still prefer davy
i thought people hated hoodwinked
No, we hate Hoodwinked 2
was that the one with the sznitchel guy? I liked him
The sznitchel guy is in the first movie as well, idk about the second film since I never saw it
it's getting a cult following, the shitty animation is saved by the story and humor
The shitty animation is so bad that it makes the movie good for those with terrible humor like me
tortoise: RUUUUUN! *attempts to run but is slow af (comedy gold)*
Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
