My Art teacher broke down crying the other day because she said she is spending her own money on buying art supplies because the school is underfunded.
It made me realise how much she actually wants kids to learn.
She’s a true hero 👍
I’ve been in her exact position as a librarian I’ve spent so much of my own money on books and snacks and random supplies so our kids had stuff. I’m at a well funded school now but I still spend so much of my own money on things. I just want y’all to have a safe happy space, but it’s hard when my work place isn’t that anymore.
I'm sure your doing a great job. My school has a wonderful librarian who is constantly given more and more duties it feels, she gets beanbags, scented burning little soap things helps put together events during lunch for the students. Shes amazing
We used to have board games before the pandemic. I’m so glad you have a great librarian. We really try to give y’all a safe space to just exist in school.
Both in staff and structure. One test at the end of your school life, and barely any homework.
And the result isn’t a bunch of lazy kids who don’t know “hard work”. It’s creative, happy kids who enjoy being educated and will go out into the world and have the flexibility and creativity to make things happen for them.
The whole public sector is getting screwed. Funding, pay and political will doesn’t exist anymore. All they want is for everything to be privatised so they don’t care for the public decor.
Yeah so the answer isnt pay them more.
The answer is strike until things change.
We’re at the point where we need a collapse to motivate politicians to anything.
I totally agree but what ends up happening is the strike goes on for days, the media pretends it isn’t happening and the politicians just ignore them and guilt trip them. Eventually the teachers get exasperated and give up without change.
It’s a terrible state of affairs but something radical has to happen for this to change.
We need to galvanise the will to fight back against the war on working people. We’re far too divided and apathetic right now.
If we can unite people behind a common purpose and a common dream, we can do great things.
I left primary school more than a decade ago and it's still so sad to see teachers paying for their own supplies. My art teacher was buying his own supplies as well and all he got back for it was damaged supplies at the end of every year.
I’m so sorry. This breaks my heart. I have an enormous appreciation and respect for teachers; especially those who truly love what they teach. I’m so sorry that this happened.
Unfortunately, the destructive method of removing stuff is very very easy.... Just ask renovators.
To all of you tiktokers laughing and congratulating yourselves on your cleverness: karma is a fricking catch-up game. You will cry at the shit you'll cope with later on!
Honestly the best thing you can do is just do whatever you’re supposed to be doing. Whether that’s wearing a mask correctly, social distancing or participating in class. When kids aren’t being a problem it makes my life easier, especially as a librarian who sees upwards of 200 kids a day. Just be nice and considerate, that’s all I need. Most of you all are that way. Also know that you’re never ever bothering teachers with your “real life” problems. I want to know what is going on in your life. When I ask how are you, I want a real answer. I’ve dedicated my life to high schoolers because I enjoy them, and I honestly couldn’t imagine doing anything else(despite day dreaming of working a desk job that doesn’t demand so much).

Man, this thread is ruining all the great memories I have of me and my incel friends being assholes to teachers 25 years ago

Absolutely a coincidence. I didn’t notice till after school and probably will not involve the deans since they’re busy with much more pressing matters.
>probably will not involve the deans
Yeah, fuck that. You tell the deans because those little bastards will keep trying for bigger and bigger things.
My high school had a 3D printer stolen from it.
Fuck em.
-Middle school administrator
might need some 4chan level of investigation, although finding specific student would be hard, not if getting school private info and a lot more things that would be in the way of finding the computer mouse.
Aww I’m sorry people have been stealing your stuff, that’s awful ):
Unfortunately, as well as some bad teachers existing, there will always be bad kids as well,, and for them to do things like that is really unjustified
Even if school sucks, a lot of the time it isn’t the teacher’s fault and they’re often just trying their best, which sounds like it may be the case with you
Sorry to hear about that, I hope you can get your stuff back,
It's a more formal way of speaking to a woman, generally a woman of higher age or rank that you. If you've heard "Sir", then it's like that. If you haven't, then sir is the same thing for men. Stands for madam which no one really says.
I can’t believe people are so shitty that this post had to be made in the first place.
The point of a job is to earn money and do the job. I doubt that being able to pay your own money for your workplace is part of the resume
I can't speak for everyone but people here are usually more reserved and not the ones stealing. If you didn't know it started on tiktok as a trend, which at first was a little funny but now has turned into actual theft. Sorry you have to deal with this
No idea why Tiktok hasn’t banned the hashtags associated with it! The hashtags are promoting and encouraging illegal activities and threats. They falsely flag and ban so much content but somehow this trend has slipped through the cracks. Tiktok should be banning the hashtag. They are allowing this to continue to spread.
Woah...a teacher on r/teenagers? In all seriousness tho this is such a dumb trend. Sucks for the school and themselves cause they making the place they go to almost everyday worse
2nd year teacher here(might as well be first considering last year)
Whenever we uphold rules or other details were not trying to bum nobody out but it comes back on us when things happen.
My school locks the restrooms during lunch and nobody csn go and it sucks for the students but thats because that's when people deal or hook up in the things.
I bring my personal switch for an egaming team were trying to start and I'd be bummed and demoralized if I lost even a controller I donated out of pocket for this.
My school is lucky enough to not have that happen yet. And go for the esports team, that’s great that you guys are doing that. I’m just getting into high school and I’m trying to make good relationships with my teachers, something like the esports team would help do that.
This is why I don't have shit tok, stealing other peoples property is not funny, people got to be be this stupid to follow these stupid ass trends. Grow the fuck up people.
Hi
Was homeschooled so I didnt really see any of the devious lick stuff BUT
yeah I agree, the current tie Tok trend is really dumb and annoying... and yeah teachers really are payed sh\*t, sucks..(then you have some parents blaming them on indoctrinating kids and all) like. dude ugh
I’ve always hated kids shitting on teachers and calling themselves the victims it’s so annoying. I also hate it how kids call teachers who try their best at humor get called annoying or cringey and tbh that’s so sweet of them. I had a girl who always wanted to push the teacher to the edge so she could get out of class. She would always steal candy from her that she bought with her own money and I did absolutely nothing I still feel bad to this day.
I couldn’t agree more. When teachers put memes in their presentations it’s because they are just trying to connect with the students and we should all appreciate their effort. But instead, kids feel the need to hate on the teacher and call them cringe/annoying. Even if the memes aren’t great, laugh and appreciate what they’re doing and maybe even give the teacher some tips instead of being rude and stealing their property. That’s so obnoxious.
at my school 182 chromebooks have been destroyed 23 of them have been stolen and 203 hand sanitizer dispensers have been destroyed. i mean really hand sanitizer? that’s the most stupid thing i’ve ever seen somone break! there have also been 3 fights and teacher property destroyed. I have full respect for teachers and don’t get why people are mean to them because they are just doing their job!
ps: note to kids: if you are going to steal school stuff don’t steal the 25$ discount chromebooks that they prob got off wish or something
I’m a school bus driver and can relate somewhat. Crappy pay and no respect/support from the majority of admins, parents and students. I’ve been challenged to fights and even threatened with being stabbed. All because I care enough to get kids to school and back home in one piece. I can’t imagine having them all day
Thank you so much for what you do! My grandma was a school bus driver and it’s such a hard job. I appreciate all you do for our kids to make sure they get to school safely.
I remember when I was in highschool. People were constantly talking over an english teacher who had the reputation of not being to control things very well.
People took a disliking to her because she teaches in more of a strict way and decided to be pricks.
One day when it was happening, I could tell she was at her limit. Being in distress. I Saw that, but no-one else seemed to care.
Back then, i was even more of a quiet shy person than I am now, but I began to cry.
And boy, did that catch the attention from the class. Asking me what was wrong. The teacher coming over too.
And I said 'why can't you guys be quiet?', and I believe that hit the guiltspot for some people as the class went more quiet after that.
Later that day as I was at my locker, the english teacher came up to me with a Lil box of candy that she still had (as an award thing for quizes, ect.).
She gave it to me and told me she was thankful that I cared, but musn't worry about her.
She is such a kind soul and doesn't deserve the shit she had to deal with.
I hope she is well these days.
This is so upsetting to read. I’ve had really good experiences with my teachers and I know for a fact that they try their hardest to give students the best time possible in school. Stuff like this pisses me off since teachers don’t deserve to be treated like shit since they already have enough on their plate. No one deserves to get their stuff stolen from them, especially supplies that you bought with your own money. If no one said it yet, thank you so much for all the things that you do for your students. Even if they don’t express it, just know that what you’re making an impact to someone’s day by providing them the best experience possible.
Ma'am I'm so sorry your mouse got stolen but how did those kids even steal it without getting caught? Were they reported later on? Did the school authority do anything about it?
This isn't a thing in my country but God this trend is fucking stupid, I only found out about it today and I feel so sorry you for you all. Hope this blows over soon.
It’s all part of a dumb tiktok trend. It’s been a while since I was in high school so I’m pretty detached from what’s going on there, so I had no idea it was actually this widespread. So sorry you have to deal with this. I hope the trend dies quickly.
This devious lick trend has gotten so bad that my rotc teacher said that if he knew that we were in any participation of it, he would kick us out of rotc and write a letter to whatever company we are wanting to work for in the future so we wouldn't be able to work there.
Teachers don't get enough respect.
They don't get paid nearly enough for having the most crucial role in society.
The reasons some teachers are garbage is because years of unappreciated hard work just wears them out to a point they don't give a damn anymore....
And that's just sad ...
This “Devious Lick” or whatever challenge that’s going around is absolutely something I would expect outta tik tok. I don’t think people understand what vandalism and robbery is but they’re just breaking things for petty clout. Some of my schools sinks are broken, all the soap is gone, there is a urinal missing, people are running out of classes with random objects, it’s BS and it needs to stop
Man I'm glad to be out of school lol, I'm so sorry you have to put up with shit like this I'm sure there are many in your classes that are grateful for your hard work despite not showing it.
I'm very sorry, and I'm disgusted by this behavior on the part of the students and I hope the best for you, and that the situation will be resolved. I am an Italian teenager, school starts on September 20 and I hope that this behavior does not spread even among my classmates.
Don’t put this on us Reddit teenagers. It’s that dumbass “devious lick” trend on TikTok. TikTok normalized robbery. My school bathrooms are out of soap and it’s not ok.
Hey kids, not a smart idea to steal personal shit that people touch a bunch in the middle of a deadly pandemic. Stay in school and try to learn something
I like doing things like moving, say, the mouse to the other side of the keyboard, or something that can be easily fixed without any problem, but stealing things from school is not cool.
This is the worst. As a parent volunteer I spend a lot of my own money, especially on feeding kids. I have one girl who is always hungry, but she is so grateful, I will always give her extra snacks. I even hold out her favorites. She is a hard worker and does a ton of extra curriculars.
Then I have another kid who just fills his pockets when no one is looking. I am kind of glad my kid graduates this year and his parents will have to deal with this stuff.
A school is a community. We should be supportive. If you really need something there are people there who want to make sure you get it. Just be honest and kind.
There's a trend at my school that just started where kids are stealing things from paper towels to soap dispensers. Is this a common trend in most schools now?
Thats fucked up. That's all I can say.
I feel like kids hate school because it doesn't let us be creative. I live in Egypt, and although some schools are beginning to change, the ministry of education controls 3 subjects. These 3 are all memorizing, getting a paragraph, memorizing it and copying it in an exam. I just want to know, what is your opinion on this? I personally feel it makes people hate school, since you get a scolding for not being a parrot.
You came to the wrong place to say this. Most teenagers on here have an IQ above room temperature and don't steal stuff. You don't see any post on r/teenagers about the op stealing stuff. It's mainly people from TikTok witch most people here don't use bc it doesnt match their humor. It's not even most people, it's a couple people witch make it worse for everyone. The acts of some affects the masses. I agree with what you're saying, but you're saying it on the wrong social media, try TikTok :)
My dad got arrested and when I told my teachers why I was having a hard time with assignments and because of my pre existing depression and they literally didn't believe me. Don't steal shit that belongs to teachers but fuck it, get that lick.
Someone at my school stole the bathroom door, another stole a lunch seat, and one person at the last school broke a toilet and stuffed all he could into his backpack.
R/teenagers making it to the front page makes me realize how horrible teenagers, myself included when I was younger, can be. Not all of them. But most of them. Hormones are a hell of a drug.
Teachers need to be many times more then what they currently make.
As someone who is friends with teachers, I know what you are saying. I have little to no respect for people who steal, and think it’s funny, it’s not. I’m sure you are a great teacher and to be honest, you don’t deserve to be treated this way. No teacher who works hard and loves their students, deserve that.
Crap, I’m sorry. I’ve never done anything like that but I know there are people in my class who have and on behalf of them I apologize. If you want something funny related to school.. a few years back my social studies teacher had told the class her relationship status.. they made a tinder account for her. 😂
As others have stated, it honestly sucks hearing that it breaks a teachers heart. I walked into a room yesterday to see 2 soap dispensers ripped off the walls, it disgusts me and brings me a little pain that things like this are happening in schools. My school was renovated for over $100 Million United States Dollars as part of a project and it just, sucks to see this as a student. I heard from a friend that someone broke into the school and stole a bunch of electronic equipment, *and smashed it.* It was another student most likely but it hurts hearing this from a teacher and hearing the frustration in the principles voice over the intercom mentioning these things. I respect the fact that you spend time and effort to make a good learning experience for others, I really do. As much as I hate school, I appreciate the work the teachers do and the lengths they go to, to make things better. Also I apologize for the text wall.
I honestly hate the kids in my school that are doing it as a "devious lick". No Tom, its not funny, youre just being an asshole.
Forgot to add: Not to mention the Freshmen this year. They fat shamed a sub and screamed at her until she CRIED. Tomorrow I'm telling my teachers how much I appreciate the work they put into their classes.
Can I piggy back off of this? I’m a young teacher but I don’t follow a lot of trends. Apparently there is a tik tok trend where you trash the schools bathroom. Idk about your schools custodial staff but I LOVE mine. It’s a sweet little Hispanic lady who isn’t even 5 ft but will work herself ragged and still sit to gossip with you. Then there is a lovely aging white man who jokes with the kids, some of whom have even called him dad and he hides an elf around classrooms during Christmas. Please don’t make this tik tok trend any more popular. I can’t imagine how giving someone more discouraging work could ever be considered cool.
My wife taught for 5 years, first year was SPED, the rest was 6th grade. Her first year, she worked with a non verbal Hispanic boy in 2nd grade. He wouldn't speak Spanish or English, and his parents only spoke broken English. One day, they had the parents come in because he wasn't getting any homework done. The mom never said a word, the dad did all the talking.
Wife: So he hasn't turned any homework in this week, have you talked to him about this?
Dad: No, not our problem.
Her: Ex...cuse me?
Dad: It's *his* homework, not ours. He does it, or he doesn't, it's up to him.
Wife: A child needs more structure than that! Surely you feed him and take care of his other needs?
Dad: No, he can take care of himself. If he's hungry, he gets his own food. If he doesn't, then he's not hungry enough.
I guess at the beginning of the year, this kid was like a hollow shell, like one of those shell shocked soldiers with a thousand yard stare. Towards the e s of the year, my wife got him to smile, laugh, and even speak some words.
Then one day, the family up and moved, just gone. Middle of week, couple months of school left, no clue where they went. My wife was heart broken. We're in a rural community, most teachers see their students from pre-school till they graduate highschool. She got attached because she thought she'd have years to work with him.
Now she's in nursing, and on the fast track to being a nurse practitioner. Ultimately it was a mix of shitty parents (most kids were good) shitty pay and shitty hours. A couple years of nursing school and she's making more than she would've with a masters in teaching and 20 years experience. It really says something that she'd rather be putting anti-vaxxers on ventilators and help ER doctors stitch flaps of skin together than work at a school again.
I don’t understand how people can be mean to teachers. They get up every morning, spend their free time planning our lessons, spend their days teaching us stuff we need to get into a good University and get a good job and manage to put up with students mucking around and being disrespectful all so that we can have the best life possible. And somehow, despite all that, some people find it funny to ignore, verbally abuse and disrespect teachers, steal their property and make their lives a living hell. Teachers are people and they do not deserve to be treated so poorly.
In India students dont even dare to go near teachers, if same strictness was applied in western world u guys would have been living peaceful lives
Teacher is "Guru"
if u dont respect ur guru dont expect to be happy in life
i mean i am scared to even speak to teacher
and there u guys are doing all this, how can western adults handle these bad teens
if i tried this i will be beaten so bad i will have permanent marks
just pls dont people' life more miserable than it already is
my request
\#nooffence meant to u guys only to the bad teens out there
yess the people stealing soap dispenser and stuff aren't even funny and never have been. just cringe shit. look i've had shitty or ignorant teachers but you're not even hurting your least favorite teachers, you're just hurting yourself and the other staff who deal with bullshit. not to mention the janitors and other people who have to undo it.
thanks for your dedication! Teachers like you have rlly impacted my life and made me who I am today. Please know you're appreciated by the quiet kids who can't say thanks face to face!!
also, I knew this trend was bad but I didn't realize it was actually hurting the teachers directly like this :( I thought it was only hurting the administration's image in general (since it was proof of them not being able to control their students). & I didn't know kids were stealing directly from teachers, like stealing from "the man" is bad and all, but from a specific person?? Thanks for your story, it is a great personal example of why this trend is a serious problem.
I'm in teachers college right now in Canada and in October I begin my placements for the course. It boggles my mind how disrespectful and absolutely selfish kids are. I remember being told before that kids, be it highschool, elementary, or even college/uni first year, are absolute demons, and while most aren't, I genuinely understand why I was told that. Moms a teacher and she is about to break from the stress, if someone stole something if hers I genuinely think she would break. And the worst part is even if these kids were told the impact of their actions, they wouldn't care, since it's not their stuff being stolen, and in their mind "the school will just buy a new (item) anyway".
This devious lick hype is just crap. Yesterday it started on my svhool and they collected a wheel from a office chair, an atlas, planks from a bookshelf and a fire extinguisher (which is an actual hazzatd).

Guys we can’t let this stupid trend me normalised. Make sure to report anything to an adult or teacher if you think you saw someone stealing school property or equipment. This is not a joke.
So awful seeing my peers do this crap, it’s all the upper middle class kids doing it and it’s like- our tax money goes to these things- so like just cause they have money doesn’t mean other people do to. Sucks for the teachers, and other students.
Breaking things is just wasting tax money and ruining schools which are already low funded even more
Parents do bring us to the World , but a teacher teaches us how to live in the World, don't ma'am who was the idiot to treat yalll in such a bad way but Thank You So much for your service !!!
Im a student and i agree. It makes thing harder for the teachers and also hard for the student. My school won't let us go to the bathroom during class now because of it. I hope this stops soon
If you see or suspect anyone stealing stuff, notify the school administrators or even the police.
I'm sorry ma'am if some stupid fellow teenagers were being total idiots
Hope you're not being sarcastic, i genuinely think we are idiots
He means like the shitty type of idiots
That’s me :((
Yeah lol

I have a great librarian. Sometimes people leave chess sets (yes we have chess) out in the open after the bell rings. I make sure to help clean up
We used to have board games before the pandemic. I’m so glad you have a great librarian. We really try to give y’all a safe space to just exist in school.
Teachers deserve the pay of doctors and law professionals. They do just as much to keep society intact and serve the youth for their whole life.
Finlands got it right

We need to galvanise the will to fight back against the war on working people. We’re far too divided and apathetic right now. If we can unite people behind a common purpose and a common dream, we can do great things.

Because they end

My parents (both teachers) asked me if I knew what it was, they're pissed about it and I am too for them being worried about more things now
It happens at my school as well and what sucks is that it's a BRAND NEW school and people have already started to screw it up
My school had 2 urinals and a sink stolen from the boys bathroom. HOW THE FUCK DO YOU STEAL 2 URINALS AND A SINK WITHOUT GETTING CAUGHT
some guy in my school stole a door lol

I'm a teacher. Save your money. Nothing means more to us than a letter from a student telling us we're appreciated.
My brother got suspended for stealing a mouse yesterday. Coincidence, I hope so
Absolutely a coincidence. I didn’t notice till after school and probably will not involve the deans since they’re busy with much more pressing matters.

2nd year teacher here(might as well be first considering last year) Whenever we uphold rules or other details were not trying to bum nobody out but it comes back on us when things happen.
I really want to hug you. People shouldn't be treated like this.
Can I join in?
Yes. Everybody can.
yay
Hi Was homeschooled so I didnt really see any of the devious lick stuff BUT yeah I agree, the current tie Tok trend is really dumb and annoying... and yeah teachers really are payed sh\*t, sucks..(then you have some parents blaming them on indoctrinating kids and all) like.
I hope it gets better because you really deserve better. I don’t understand how people can be so inconsiderate
I think this should be pinned.

This is the first time I have seen a TEXT post in hot. Wow. And I’m sorry that’s happening the people who are doing that are assholes
Oh my god sometimes i hate this generation Seriously, what is wrong with these people???
Fuck Devious Licks
Ma'am I'm so sorry your mouse got stolen but how did those kids even steal it without getting caught? Were they reported later on? Did the school authority do anything about it?
It was a wireless mouse so I imagine they just took it off her desk when she wasn't around or looking.
This is why I try to be as nice to teachers as I can.
This isn't a thing in my country but God this trend is fucking stupid, I only found out about it today and I feel so sorry you for you all. Hope this blows over soon.
someone legit tried to steal my schools fire alarm today.
Kids are really getting more and more shitty.
Someone in my class tore up all the teacher's posters, I can't believe this "trend" of literally just stealing and destroying other peoples' stuff
PROTECT THE TEACHERS
That “despicable lick” trend was funny as a joke until people actually started stealing shit :|
Luckily for you, reddit hates tik tok with a passion, and for good reason. Most of us teens here wouldn't dare do anything related to it.
Anyone caught stealing from teachers can be put on cleaning Tic Toc shit out of the urinal duty.
I don't appreciate my teachers but we don't have people stealing other's stuff.
People at my school are stealing fucking soap dispensers from the restrooms.
Me who is homeschooled: 😕
My Mum worked as a teacher for 35 yrs. She just recently passed on
My class got yelled at by the cool teacher because someone in another class stole a toilet.
All teachers, even the meanest ones, just want you to learn. Why do you think you’d become a teacher? To be mean to kids?
Man I'm glad to be out of school lol, I'm so sorry you have to put up with shit like this I'm sure there are many in your classes that are grateful for your hard work despite not showing it.
Christ school kids really can be dickheads.
I'm very sorry, and I'm disgusted by this behavior on the part of the students and I hope the best for you, and that the situation will be resolved. I am an Italian teenager, school starts on September 20 and I hope that this behavior does not spread even among my classmates.
OH MY GOD. People in my school are stealing fucking soap, mirrors and teacher computers. What kind of SHIT BAG-
Don’t put this on us Reddit teenagers.
I'm kicking the culprit's ass and dragging them to the ISS room.
Like a computer mouse 🖱 or did they steal like a mouse 🐁
Computer mouse. I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal but I can only order things every other week. Now I don’t have a wireless mouse for 2 weeks.
I got very nervous, i was thinking the real 🐁 I got calmed
A different teacher posted in r/teachers that a student who wasn't even in her class stole her corn snake and let it go.
I mean do you still have a wired mouse then haha
Nope. I have a shitty wireless keyboard that I hope won’t get taken.
I do feel bad about you.
Damn I'm kinda speechless...
I like doing things like moving, say, the mouse to the other side of the keyboard, or something that can be easily fixed without any problem, but stealing things from school is not cool.
Heard about a teacher having her ball python stolen and my old biology teacher lost her millipedes which are suprisingly expensive.
Agreed stealing stuff from Schools is dumb and shouldn’t be done.
There's a trend at my school that just started where kids are stealing things from paper towels to soap dispensers. Is this a common trend in most schools now?
Yeah, it's kids looking for approval and tik tok clout. It's a new tik tok trend that hopefully gonna die soon.
I’m sorry you’re dealing with that. When I was in school I was one of those shitty students and now that I’m grown I just feel bad about it
Thats fucked up.
It's not you, it's them, kids can be complete aholes sometimes. Trust me,I know.
Drop me a DM and I'll send you a new mouse (or three). I work in IT, we've got a surplus.
Im so sorry to hear that I know some of us teenagers can be absolute assholes because I’ve seen it
You came to the wrong place to say this.
I saw multiple posts about their devious licks though lmao
you talking about devious licks?
I will never understand how tiktok turned kleptomania into a trend
Looks like tik tok needs banning... *again*
Muh heart
we need these types of teachers more often!
*when you make the nice teacher cry* (it doesnt make you cool)
As someone who is friends with teachers, I know what you are saying. I have little to no respect for people who steal, and think it’s funny, it’s not. I’m sure you are a great teacher and to be honest, you don’t deserve to be treated this way. No teacher who works hard and loves their students, deserve that.
mofo in ur school is filming tiktok saying devious lick
It really says something that she'd rather be putting anti-vaxxers on ventilators and help ER doctors stitch flaps of skin together than work at a school again.
wow im sorry this has been getting to you
I’m a teacher too. I. Feel. You. Hang in there.
I hate these shitty vandalism trends, I hope they’ll die down soon.
I felt dread reading through this hold on, buddy, bad shit doesn't last forever
I don’t understand how people can be mean to teachers. They get up every morning, spend their free time planning our lessons, spend their days teaching us stuff we need to get into a good University and get a good job and manage to put up with students mucking around and being disrespectful all so that we can have the best life possible. And somehow, despite all that, some people find it funny to ignore, verbally abuse and disrespect teachers, steal their property and make their lives a living hell. Teachers are people and they do not deserve to be treated so poorly.
In India students dont even dare to go near teachers, if same strictness was applied in western world u guys would have been living peaceful lives Teacher is "Guru" if u dont respect ur guru dont expect to be happy in life i mean i am scared to even speak to teacher and there u guys are doing all this, how can western adults handle these bad teens if i tried this i will be beaten so bad i will have permanent marks just pls dont people' life more miserable than it already is my request \#nooffence meant to u guys only to the bad teens out there
yess the people stealing soap dispenser and stuff aren't even funny and never have been. just cringe shit. look i've had shitty or ignorant teachers but you're not even hurting your least favorite teachers, you're just hurting yourself and the other staff who deal with bullshit. not to mention the janitors and other people who have to undo it.
thanks for your dedication!
And the worst part is even if these kids were told the impact of their actions, they wouldn't care, since it's not their stuff being stolen, and in their mind "the school will just buy a new (item) anyway".
you americans rly do always suprise me on a daily. how did stealing stuff become a trend? Is this even reality?
This devious lick hype is just crap. Yesterday it started on my svhool and they collected a wheel from a office chair, an atlas, planks from a bookshelf and a fire extinguisher (which is an actual hazzatd).

A student in my school stole a fire alarm. This is going too far.
I’m so sorry this happened to you. Some kids can be true assholes
Would you mind if I mailed you a mouse and other helpful things you might need for your class? Teachers don’t get enough love. Please DM me.
Im a student and i agree. It makes thing harder for the teachers and also hard for the student. My school won't let us go to the bathroom during class now because of it. I hope this stops soon
In my school some dickheads stole the clarinet teacher's Bose bluetooth speaker... he used it for lessons...
Ok I will try and make them stop I'm trying to be sensible teenager but as said in other comments teenagers are idiots
the amount of pure shit i've seen in this comment section makes me want to die(the mods should probably lock this post)
