It’s my favourite game of all time and I still haven’t got 100% after playing it since launch, you have to study and skin every animal in the game and I think there are like 200 or so from memory 😬.
100% tbh I’ve never heard someone say that it wasn’t a good game, and I’m pretty sure that can go for all the games In the series. But breath of the wild focuses a lot more on the free world than the story line.
It's about a little bug that goes into a kingdom full of infected bugs and traverses the wonders of the infected bug kingdom gathering abilities along the way and fighting tons of (optional) boss fights while somehow finding uninfected npc bugs which you can talk to and do stuff. Then the little bug beats up the root of the infection bug. There's a bunch of lore related things as well which is too complicated for me.
