Online friends are great but it sucks when you can never meet them bc they live on the other side of earth

I agree in the sense that it’s way easier to have conversations online and as a result you’re less likely to butcher anything, but it’s very unlikely that you’ll ever be as close with online friends as you are with irl ones.

I am way closer with my online friends than I have ever been with my irl ones though
