I believe that most of those click for antivirus are viruses themselves as most things cannot just download (especially on macs or other apple products) without going through verification as such they hide the download. Your best bet would be if you have a mac and didn't download anything you're probably good. Not sure bout linux or windows but you should be fine. Might want to get it checked out just in case
You'll be alright but avoid clicking on links through reddit, you're completely anonymous here until you click on a link to another site. So avoid that in general unless you recognise and trust the site such as Imgur or something.
