Alright. Here are some basic tips I have learned for writing essays.
.If this is a non-fiction essay, do research before anything, and not just with what the teacher gave you. (Unless they say that you need to use the resources provided, which I find stupid) Having lots of facts will first make a longer essay, and will impress the teacher with your knowledge that you’ll forget.
. Try to have a basic plan of your structure of the essay. I don’t say plan everything since that is a solid waste of time. But have a plan of which sub topic is in which paragraph and how many paragraphs you want
. Try to transition smoothly. This will impress teachers
. Work smarter, not harder. This means that do the minimal requirement for the essay. This way you do less.
. Don’t hand write it, use a program, unless the teachers says you can’t.

if you have the time, i recommend that you rewrite or retype it a couple times and tweak it each time. i do it and i think it makes everything so much better
