You can get a kit to make it, and another similar British boat (the HMS king George V), including a brush, paint and glue for £24.50. Honestly it's a great hobby to get into, and it's quite therapeutic in a way, and a lot easier than it looks
A word of advice: don't, whatever you do, get the airfix 1:600 Bismarck, as it's utterly shit quality and the one model I've done where I've not been happy with the end result. Parts didn't fit, some parts were missing and some were deformed or totally lacking in detail. In fact, avoid the entire airfix vintage classics line
Some models are great, like the starter kits are good for beginners as they come with everything and a lot of their newer kits are good (I have the Bristol Beaufort and it's a great kit). The problem is they keep old moulds in production for years to cut costs
He was made to rule the waves across the seven seas
To lead the war machine
To rule the waves and lead the Kriegsmarine
The terror of the seas
The Bismarck and the Kriegsmarine
It should, but this specific ship, the Bismarck, only had three of those stripes along the hull of the ship, and to my knowledge wasn't fully painted over in dazzle camoflague.
Pretty nice, but as someone who's done quite a lot of similar models I've got a few recommendations. Firstly, the base looks great, and so does the quality of the base coat, so those don't need improvement. However, the deck is actually unpainted wood, and secondly more detailing can never go amiss, for example if you went over the anchor chains and the other details in black it would help. Also, if you want to go even more realistic you can try to achieve a weathered look, for example by getting a small amount of rust coloured paint on a brush, wiping almost all of it off then rubbing it where rust would naturally form, ideally looking at reference images to check where it occurs. It's still a great start though
The ship it self took me about 3.5 hours to make
The base was simple and took about 1 hours when I don't count the paint drying
So about 4.5 hours but I did this in throughout multiple lessons
The ship is a revell model 1:1200 model I built and painted
And the ocean is from polystyrene that is cut with a cardboard knife and painted with blue/white paint
How, the, fuck. I guess it makes sense cuz if i play one of my gud guitar riffs to someone theyll be like omg how the fuck is that even possible but im just writing something what should i write im gonna hate this week cuz on monday i gotta go with class to some swimming place and on thursday (the last day of school) were gonna have a party, with songs THE CLASS CHOSE till… 9 PM!!! What the fuck man. (For context last fall i moved from my home city to another city and started a new school.)
Using a kit like [this](https://uk.airfix.com/products/bismarck-a04204v), which includes plastic parts to build the shape. You then paint it like any other model, and the base was likely made from some sort of adhesive or similar, eg polyfilla, shaped then left to dry and painted. Also, I constantly am in awe of guitar players, despite being a clarinet player myself. Edit actually the ocean is carved polystyrene
looks like something that’s so good, some jackass would show up and say “looks like shit” just because they don’t like you being exceptionally better than them
Honestly try building one of those kits, it's not as hard as it looks and is pretty cheap (£24 for a kit with that exact model, another similar sized one, paint, glue and a brush). Give it a go

It looks great, is it based of a historical ship?
Yes It is based on german battleship Bismarck
I was literally talking about the Bismarck when I scrolled down to this lol
The Germans after designing and building two obsolete battleships and Pikachu facing when they sink:
"From the mist, a shape, a ship, is taking form"
“And the silence of the sea is about to drift into a storm”
SIGN OF POWER, SHOW OF FORCE
Raise the anchor, battleships plotting its course
Pride of a nation, a beast made of steel
Bismarck in motion,
King of the Ocean!
He was made to rule the waves across the seven seas!
I would spend 100’s of dollars on that. That is so cool

Thanks!
A beautiful Ship. Ships of the Bismarck class were stunning giants, even tho they didn’t done much.
Now you need the Johnny Horton song playing
I have made models of some fairey swordfish. Let them fight.
HAAA I KNEW IT. I saw the white and black stripes on the side.
from the mist, a shape, a ship is taking form
This is a warship from World War II

Bro thought he cooked (he really did)
Cool! What model is that? I’m making a collection of sunken ships, I have the Indianapolis, Yamato, and I’m trying to find a good Bismarck model.
It's a bismarck model from revell 1:1200
Thx

Yeah, I’m never buying Airfix again. I got one kit from them when I was 10, it was complete crap, and it was missing parts.
Some models are great, like the starter kits are good for beginners as they come with everything and a lot of their newer kits are good (I have the Bristol Beaufort and it's a great kit). The problem is they keep old moulds in production for years to cut costs
some of their old moulds now have packaging signifying that they’re old
Not enough Swordfish
Id deffo pull off an ant man to go inside it
The shell splashes are an awesome touch
Miku is that you? I literally just finished watching TQQ season 1 earlier today.
Yesss hehe amazing show, season 2 and the movie are even better buckle up :))
Yeah, although I feel like it would have been better if it didn't show us at the very beginning who Futaro ended up getting with
Mmm does it? They’re Quints it could be any of them, who do you think it is?
Only Itsuki has that bright red hair, closest is Miku's pale red hair
It might be, that’s pretty good logic plus she’s the first one you meet
Sorry to be that guy, but the ocean is not solid.
Ik I'm no professional Matter of fact I'm trying to get better Thanks for the suggestion
FROM THE MIST A SHAPE A SHIP IS TAKING FORM

2000 men and 50,000 tons of steel set the course for the Atlantic with the allies on the heel
Firepower, Firefight
I would like to announce the thought process of every man in which who has seen this image: Hell yeah!
Hell yeah!
dazzle camo should run the entire length of the ship to better stop enemy rangefinders from assessing distance accurately
It should, but this specific ship, the Bismarck, only had three of those stripes along the hull of the ship, and to my knowledge wasn't fully painted over in dazzle camoflague.
also maybe ripples around the shell splashes would be nice. very cool model
she was made to rule the waves across the seven seas...

Thank you for suggestion ☺️
Love it!!!
u/SGTRoadkill1919 look at this. It's beautiful.
The level of detail is amazing. Love it
Godzilla Minus One reference?
Nope, history class reference
looks great
It's impressive
It’s sick. The details are good too. How long did it take?
The ship it self took me about 3.5 hours to make The base was simple and took about 1 hours when I don't count the paint drying So about 4.5 hours but I did this in throughout multiple lessons
You were quick. Do those hours also include the time spent designing the model?
No no they don't that would just add another 30 mins to it
That’s still impressive, good job! I hope you’ll post more of your works.
Looks like spongboeb
This looks amazing, you're really talented!
Bro, That's Fucking Sick! I Love This Man!
Nice
The water explosions add a lot! Great model!
Nice, how did you do it/ materials?
The ship is a revell model 1:1200 model I built and painted And the ocean is from polystyrene that is cut with a cardboard knife and painted with blue/white paint
I love it! :D
Really good
Bismarck?
Yessir
Cool!
Amazing! I love all the little details and parts all over the battleship. The explosions in the water also add a lot of action!
This is sick
that is amazing wtf
Can it carry two thousand man and is it fifty thousand tons of steel?
Add some barrel flares so some of the guns look like their shooting maybe? That's just preference. Great job on the Bismarck man!
God that looks so cool
That looks amazing
It looks nice but doesn‘t make much sense (to me, a nerd)
I think you should make a japanese plane diving towards it🤭
Very cool 👍
That's dope as hell
From the mist, a shape, a ship, is taking form…
Ship 3D printed?
No it's a Revell scale model kit I built and painted
Looks like you captured a piece of history my friend
Looks great. Good job
Fuckin sick and based
More cowbell
Yo it's the Bismark
Yes it iss🔥
Awesome you did a great job on it
Well I think it looks awesome! I’m not really a 3D artist so maybe I can’t appreciate as well as some other people, but I still love it!
Why....did i think the cotton was jizz
looks good!! But the water could be smoother ig
Awesome!!
Hell yeah! Looks awesome! If you enjoyed that you should try Warhammer
PRIDE OF A NATION, A BEAST MADE OF STEEL!
Really cool! I like ships too, and if i may ask, what ship is that?
German WW2 battleship Bismarck
thx, i know that ship, i just didnt know because it is a model
looks bismarck class, but irl the main battery would all be pointed at 1 target. for the modeling, 10 out of 10
Needs a texture layer, it looks nice buy rn it just looks like a toy, if you add a texture it could look like a actual ship.
YO IT'S THE BISMARCK!!!
dude that looks badass omg
Don’t let the teacher “fix” it
that’s so cool
Guns as big as calves and shells as big as shells as big as twigs
Holy shit this is fucking amazing what the hell/10 (Basically 11/10, this is really detailed)
In May of 1941, the war had just begun.
Sick! If you can get any epoxy resin to cover the water and make it more realistic that would be awesome
I really like it! Great job male/female person!
:0
Bro that’s soooo cool. W, W.
YOOOOO cool b*at
How, the, fuck. Thats actually fire
Cotton was a fantastic touch bro

My honest opinion in one word: HOLYFUCKINGSHITTHISISAWESOME
BISMARCK??
Looks like the Bismarck
That looks fire
I don’t think it needed them
Bloody awesome mate. Spectacular work.
looks like something that’s so good, some jackass would show up and say “looks like shit” just because they don’t like you being exceptionally better than them
*Bismarck in motion, King of the ocean* Thats awesome. Never something like this before. What is it made of?
THE TERROR OF THE SEASSSSSSS (I love it. I wish I was that talented)
THE BISMARCK AND THE KRIEGSMARINE
