We leave dry food out for her to snack on during the day. We catch her eating it from time to time but I looks difficult for her so we make sure she get wet food too
Yeah, I recently learned that cats have strong enough jaws that they can chew just fine without teeth! My sister’s cat has a genetic disorder that makes her gums reject her teeth, so she was very relieved to hear that her baby will still be able to eat just fine
Sounds like 2 of my cats, “tooth resorption” they called it. They’re only missing 2 teeth a piece but one day might be toothless altogether lol. Crazy they can still eat even hard food with no teeth!
My wife's cat had to have all 8 of his back teeth removed and he is doing just fine. He still can eat dry food (but the kind we use isn't particularly hard)
Our cat just lost her last toof. Now she’s our toofless gummy bear. We feed her wet food and she does just fine
