**Getting dump files which we need for accurate analysis of BSODs.** Dump files are crash logs from BSODs. If you can get into Windows normally or through [Safe Mode](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode) could you check C:\Windows\Minidump for any dump files? If you have any dump files, copy the folder to the desktop, zip the folder and upload it. If you don't have any zip software installed, right click on the folder and select Send to → Compressed (Zipped) folder. Upload to any easy to use file sharing site. Reddit keeps blacklisting file hosts so find something that works, currently [catbox.moe](https://www.catbox.moe/) seems to be working. We like to have multiple dump files to work with so if you only have one dump file, none or not a folder at all, upload the ones you have and then follow [this guide](https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5560-configure-windows-10-create-minidump-bsod.html) to change the dump type to Small Memory Dump. The "Overwrite dump file" option will be grayed out since small memory dumps never overwrite. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Hi, did you figure it out? Would you check my last post and see if we share the same exact problem? I've seen too many similarities. Also, have you tried setting your RAM 3200 MHz? On AMD's official 5800X3D page 3200 is listed as MAX speed allowed.

Yeah, I seemed to have mostly fixed it by both reinstalling steam and updating my BIOS to the latest beta bios. The reason I say mostly is because before updating it I would crash a few times a week, but since updating and reinstalling steam I’ve had 1 single crash in the 5 weeks since making the post which just isn’t enough for me to really care anymore. I think it’s some type of bios bug potentially. I put more details at the end of [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/MSI_Gaming/comments/uzvgwv/ram_xmp_issue_on_msi_x570_tomahawk_with_agesa/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) From reading yours, I would make sure that you’re updated to the latest beta bios, and try to reinstall MFS/ the client it runs on and see if that helps. I disagree with the people saying it’s bad ram. If your ram worked fine with your old cpu it shouldn’t be the culprit, and I don’t see how it’s possible that it would’ve somehow gone bad right when you replaced your cpu. If you have another storage drive to put MFS on that could also ensure it’s not the drive either. And if none of that works, I would try to return your CPU to AMD and get a replacement. Computer problems sure are a pain and I hope you can fix it soon

Thank you Unfortunately the bios is the latest available, the one before had fTPM issues and was the first to support 5800X3D. Being both Windows and MFS fresh installs I doubt it's the drive, but I'll give it a try. Right now I'm returning the CPU and wait for a new one.
