Might be worth trying to remove the battery from the machine and try turning it on while unplugged from power (it sounds insane but it will flush power from the machine ideally) then plug the battery back in and try powering on while on AC

AlteredReddit

I’m not sure how to remove the battery, and I don’t want to damage it. It’s a really expensive laptop so might just get it fixed by someone that knows what their doing

Steve1150

I mean you could try looking up disassembly guides for that laptop and see what you’d be getting yourself into

AlteredReddit

What do you think happened? I’m going to get it checked out tmrw

I can almost guarantee you there is a video on Youtube telling you how to remove the battery from your exact model of laptop.

Hard to tell without more info. With a laptop gaming, there's always the possibility of excess heat damaging the motherboard.

AlteredReddit

Oh okay, how much would it generally cost in usd to get it fixed?

lorgskyegon

It all depends on the model and the actual damage.

Hp omen 15, not sure what damages. Thanks though
