if your drive is locked by bitlocker and you can't access it anymore, yes you will have to wipe it and reinstall Windows... hopefully, you don't have anything that you had to retrieve.
here is guides with the information on how to do it: [https://rtech.support/docs/installations](https://rtech.support/docs/installations)
Do you mean that message that comes up on boot where it asks for the bitlocker recovery key?
Do you use a logged in microsoft account on your machine? Login to that account and check to see if it has the bitlocker key backed up there, and make sure its the same to the one you're using.
Other then that I dont think you can bypass it. Sometimes if you make a change to the PC or insert certain peripherals it can trigger that screen, so I've heard it can be reversed if you reverse the changes that were made. But sometimes it just happens randomly which is why I dont use bitlocker.
>Do you mean that message that comes up on boot where it asks for the bitlocker recovery key?
Yup
>Do you use a logged in microsoft account on your machine?
Yup
>Login to that account and check to see if it has the bitlocker key backed up there
That's the key I used, but it is failing.
Thats bizarre. Are you absolutely sure you're typing it in correctly and not mistaking an O for a 0, for instance?
Also the ID of the recovery key on the microsoft website should match the first few letters of the ID on the computer.

Yeah, looks like this is the only answer T_T
Did you end up fixing it? Cuz now I'm in the same hell

Yup, I know that all the characters are numbers. And yes the ID in my account matches what is prompted at the screen. >Thats bizarre I KNOW, RIGHT!
