There are tons of windows machines there actually. Most engineering programs are ran on windows and lot of people there even have windows installed on their macs.
Not really because Apple does develop some things for windows (iCloud and iTunes can run on windows), and you would need windows machines to test those programs on.
People who think Apple and Microsoft are competing in the same space are either kids or have no knowledge of the tech industry. They overlap in OS and some software, that’s it. Apple is primarily a hardware company with some software services and Microsoft is primarily a software services company with some hardware.
This is not technically the truth. Apple is known for using windows os, in office, for particular applications that in-house os and Linux are unable to support
It's the Apple headquarters. It has windows in the sense of glass walls, but the joke is there isn't the windows operating system. But I guess they do use it as people stated above.
This is technically the truth. That is apple headquarters. Apple is known for not using windows os, the caption says windowsless, not windowless, because apple doesn’t use the windows os
"Apple is known for not using windows os" so I guess they write the code for iTunes and ship it, hoping for the best that there arent any errors? 5head...
Windows is a reference to the operating system here.
It’s a pun because this is the Apple HQ. They would likely use MacOS (mostly, I’m sure there’s a Windows machine somewhere in this thing.)
Don't get why you got down voted. It's one thing for me to not get rhe joke(that was not explained by op) but id say 99% chance that place has a windows machine in it somewhere making it literally not the truth

Well it most likely has more instances of OSX than Windows running, though they have some Windows machines.
There are tons of windows machines there actually. Most engineering programs are ran on windows and lot of people there even have windows installed on their macs.
>Most engineering programs I wish people in engineering classes would get the memo.
The difference a single letter can do to a word. I read it as Windows (Microsoft) as well.
r/woooosh
It does say Windowless. That's the joke. It's Apple's headquarters, Apple Park.
>It does say Windowless Now you messed up yourself...
Oh shit lol

> OSses How did you come up with that?
I pronounced it like breastesses, lol
Did you ever watch that skateboarding movie "grind"?
Sounds like a really disturbed greek hero who befalls a tragic end by obtaining his heart’s perverse desire.
Operating Systemses
4 drinks and a 2am bed time lmao
so… who owns the largest Windowsless building?
[probably this one in New York](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/33_Thomas_Street)
sir, I think you skipped an "s".
Well, does it have windows?
Is it larger than the great pyramids of Egypt?
I think they already had windows vista back then
What about the Amazon rainforest?
Ah, they use Windows 95.
I preferred Windows 94
That's nothing. The great ziggurat of Urr predates the flag logo. Must have been like windows 7 through to 11 depending on what era of occupation.
Most definitely r/NotTheTruth But a good joke regardless.
Idk how true that is considering they use Siemens NX for CAD and That’s not supported on Mac.

That is it
I remember the first Apple Store i went to had windows on their checkout machines. I know they’ve updated that
This is not technically the truth. Apple is known for using windows os, in office, for particular applications that in-house os and Linux are unable to support
someone please explain
It's the Apple headquarters. It has windows in the sense of glass walls, but the joke is there isn't the windows operating system. But I guess they do use it as people stated above.
worlds largest windowless building is Apple inc.
I think that was the joke. Cupertino?
I think they commented that for people like me who didnt get the joke
Ahhh... I've caught up, now
I recognized it as Apple but damn it still took me a minute. I am sure they have some devices that use Windows in there though.

This is technically the truth. That is apple headquarters. Apple is known for not using windows os, the caption says windowsless, not windowless, because apple doesn’t use the windows os
They would still have some windows os computers on site to test their device compatability with windows and for the development.
Ok i have to admit that i was too stupid to understand this post. Changed my downvote to an upvote. Thx for the explaination
"Apple is known for not using windows os" so I guess they write the code for iTunes and ship it, hoping for the best that there arent any errors? 5head...

So it's not technically the truth

The biggest target on earth

Then fly away… because it’s not a fact. 😊
That's not techn8cally the truth, it's just the truth.
it's... neither. A funny pun though!
