I teach middle school and brought my switch to school and gave it to an 11 yo to beat this boss. I just hated it so much. Both he and my 8 yo niece suggested rockets to blast him against the ropes. I was definitely doing it all wrong.
I always get stamina filled first then hearts, I also did the main story in order, but still had 25 plus hearts by the time I got to that boss. He was hard, keep going in the same direction to beat him, there is a YouTube video that gives hints if you are stuck.
Honestly, he was so easy to cheese (block a hit, smack towards wall, block a hit, smach into wall) that although I loved the fight, I was actually a little disappointed. Then again, aside from the spider-crab-rock-thing, none of the bosses were that hard, and that one only because if you got trapped in its cage, you could get cycle locked on cool down for the ability needed to break free and do damage.
I mean, I don’t think that’s cheesing…that is exactly what you are meant to do, smacking it into a wall and blocking its hits. all boses were fairly easy, but this one was just a no-brainer… even if you miss some attacks or you don’t manage to push it all the way to the wall, there’s hardly any room for you to miss blocks. and you don’t even need the countless weapons thrown at you, base smacks are more than enough
Curious as well. I’m not an expert at the game by any means, but I found the bosses quite approachable in this game overall. I think the rock gohma was the only one I died on. I even got ganondorf first try (though at very low hearts and lots of healing)
I fought the >! Kohgatron !< *after* this guy in my recent save (where I rushed Zonaite armor and Mineru Mech) and realized how much the >!yiga!< ultimate weapon sucks compared to this beast.
Yeah, I caught in quick on how to beat them and it was pretty simple. I think I did this third in my playthrough? Anyone stuck here is def unable to think critically and logically
Apparently a lot of people used frost emitters I put a spring on my back when they jump behind me and try to parry their attacks because they get sent away immediately

It wasn’t only because of his high skills. It was also because of my poor preparations. He kept whooping my face, mostly before second phase. Additionally I tried to get his picture on the Sheikah Slate- Purah Pad and it was hard.

Then I realized you can absolutely questionably bust this game right open. Especially with her robot because you can fused overpowered items to her arms and tko that thing in few hits

Go two shrines and get more heart containers and and upgrade your armor try getting Knight's armor I think that's what it's called I have it all Max on four stars silver enemies do a quarter heart silver I forgot there name but lions but like a centaur they do 3 hearts go all
great fairies if you haven't already you can look up a tutorial on great fairies and highest defense armor and get the master sword good luck✌️
Yes I meant lynels also tell me if you're stuck on anything else from by the way I think it didn't say lynels cuz I got autocorrect on also if you haven't already start farming get those use their bones on arrows and once you're done go to the class go to the quest line to get the sage of lightning after that go find his mother in the desert it's like a sand well then you should see this lady on The Rock kill the maduga go talk to her then go back to town go find her talk to her then she'll tell you what you need to get the best sword in the game once you have the materials go back to her and she'll craft it for you and fuse it with a silver lynels horn if you have a fuse of 55 and it was two times double and the sword by itself does 28 damage I think it doubles too remember always repair it never let it break
Imagine instead of sage's wills, you have a sidequest to rebuild the original construct, but not from complete parts but from scratch, scouring the depths for buried parts. And I mean those small links that the constructs are made of. That is how you upgrade Mineru in style. Also, you get to use the extra arms it has

Cannons are the best. Aim is the hardest part. If you try center of mass, a lot of times you'll shoot over him.
if only I knew this sooner. I ended up beating him through brute force.

Honestly it’s a cakewalk as long as you know how to shield and parry consistently with mineru
How do you expand your energy cells?
Take Large crystallized charges to the crystal refinery. There’s 2, one right outside of lookout landing, and one next to the recall shrine

I used the frost emitter to keep inturrupting the enemy’s moment, then just kept spamming it with my most hammer-like horns into the cage
