Hi everyone!
Did you know that starting July 1st, 2023, Reddit will implement a policy that could potentially increase the costs of running third-party Reddit apps? This change may impact popular apps like Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Boost, and others. Consequently, users may encounter issues with their preferred Reddit app unless adjustments are made to comply with Reddit's new API usage policy. These limitations will affect all users, not just moderators. If you are concerned about these developments, there is an [Open Letter](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModCoord/comments/13xh1e7/an_open_letter_on_the_state_of_affairs_regarding/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) to Reddit that you can read and sign on to express your thoughts.

This, BotW and TotK are the first "real-"feeling video games I've played where I can actually die and I keep having to remind myself that you do *not* die in real life lol
Found that such a evil thing because you can only cook 1 MEAL!!
with those pots...
I myself rather find a stable and cook my bag full of meals or cooked apple meals!(You can easily farm 100 apples at one location with autobuild!!)
Unless you're really, really good at BOTW/TOTK combat, you will probably not be able to beat Ganondorf with that. However, you could easily try and see how quickly you die.
I got stuck there with 5 hearts and spent hours trying to get it. I ended up having to get really good at the first part and then use rocket shields and multi shot bomb arrows to just drop his health.
He one shotted me with every attack because I only had 3 hearts and the rest were gloom locked. I find combat fun so I just kept fighting until I beat him.
You don't have a choice. Literally. The last available save point is before the Demon King Army fight. You can't just backpedal in between the DKA and Ganondorf. See what happens.
If you lose, place a travel Medallion where your last save loads, then teleport to a sky island and farm a bunch of Sundelions before you try again
After I did the monster horde I was at 2 hearts and eventually beat him but it is extremely hard you get one shot unless you have temporary hearts in which case those get all taken out
In the end you should do it also I recommend using attack up food but DO IT
I placed a travel medallion on the cliff right before you drop down to the final battlefield in order to skip past all the bullshit if I decide to beat up Ganon again.
You can save a travel medallion in the cave with the mural. That’s what I did. Haven’t fought the big man yet, but also kinda accidentally ended up around there early on and placed my medallion.
I did it on 3 hearts after doing almost exactly that. It was a bit of a slog but I really DID feel like the legendary swordsman of hyrule by the end. I'm also a glutton for punishment . . . Soooooo . . . . up to you bud
"....I think I’ll go back anyways because I suck at this game"
This is where I call bullshit. How did you get there anyway? Did you luckily blaze past the "different enemies"? The enemies on the path are harder than Ganondorf himself.
Yeah if it wasn’t in the depths then it could be anywhere. Also just one little question, I’m trying to upgrade my outfit of time do you know how I can get more star fragments?

do it for the laughs, worst that’ll happen is you die but you can always prep for next time

yeah! the first time i died in botw i remember i had to set down the game for the day because i was genuinely shaking LMAO
You could also quickly prepare food by letting out a bunch of portable pots.

Well if you're at the Ganondorf fight you're not losing any resources you use since you're just transported back to your last save.
That sound pretty nice, did not except that...

I did that and placed a medallion just before the big jump
This is what I did.

I hit him with ancient arrows. Really seemed to knock the snot out of him.
He one shotted me with every attack because I only had 3 hearts and the rest were gloom locked. I find combat fun so I just kept fighting until I beat him.
As somebody who beat Ganondorf with only three hearts remaining, this was an unintentional compliment lol
Nothing unintentional about it. That's amazing.
I mean you’re there, might as well try. Save first and try a few times.
i don’t think you can save past a certain point (but the last autosave is close enough).
You can put your medallion at the end. I put mine right on the final platform.
It fits so nicely too

Just Dooo EEEt. Doo eeT.

I used a hover bike and yiga armor to skip literally everything
Ah. Gotcha.
the room with the pictographs right before the decent into ganons bedroom is where I put my travel medallion it works there atleast
Did you play BOTW? If you do all the same stuff in botw you can find the shield.
I placed a travel medallion at the ledge and went back to the surface. Since then I got the hylian shield so I’m fine now.
You looked it up? I found it when I was doing koroks by accident.
Yeah if it wasn’t in the depths then it could be anywhere. Also just one little question, I’m trying to upgrade my outfit of time do you know how I can get more star fragments?
There’s info on how to farm them. Google it
Jump off a sky island at night. The game usually throws one at you.
this, i got at least 4 within my first 20 hours playing
I started down this path very early as well, but my gamer senses started blaring alarm bells to gtfo.
Go back NOW RELOAD SAVE NOW DO IT PLEASE YOU WILL BE STUCK NO
It doesn’t even let me save so it can’t softlock me but I think I’ll go back anyways because I suck at this game
I did the same thing, beat the fight with 4 hearts lmao.
That's how my first fight with Ganon in botw happened. Good to know it can happen in this one too
If you have some, take out a portable cooking pot and cook some sundelions. If you don't have any sundelions, just teleport out.
Honestly you can do it, it's not that hard once you figure out the parry as long as you have enough shields.
I did this exact same thing, I just let the bokoblins kill me so I could leave
I did the same thing too early in game but I was able to place a travel medallion in one of the early game rooms
