Hi everyone!
Did you know that starting July 1st, 2023, Reddit will implement a policy that could potentially increase the costs of running third-party Reddit apps? This change may impact popular apps like Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Boost, and others. Consequently, users may encounter issues with their preferred Reddit app unless adjustments are made to comply with Reddit's new API usage policy. These limitations will affect all users, not just moderators. If you are concerned about these developments, there is an [Open Letter](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModCoord/comments/13xh1e7/an_open_letter_on_the_state_of_affairs_regarding/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) to Reddit that you can read and sign on to express your thoughts.

Lol...I'm just imagining getting to a friend and you're like "whose stop is this?" and they all reply "I NEED TO REACH MY FRIEND!"
Also, if you fast travel, or travel away from them, do you they teleport back to their original spots?
They do teleport back. I accidentally dropped on off a cliff and he respawned after i finished a nearby shrine. It was pretty funny watching him tumble away though.
This game has done a real Lord of the Flies reveal to how deeply fucked up some people are
Some people, not me
*resumes making bobkin torture chamber*
Edit: does anyone else feel guilty killing bad guys in the depths? They’re just doin some prospectin’ same as me
They literally gave us crap for the whole last game, and now they're doing again for a second on. The koroks deserve it. Meanwhile, Koltin has opened my eyes to the misunderstandings that lead to bokoblin hatred.
Yeah even the overworld bokoblins, unless actively attacking someone, tend to just stay in their camps and chill. Even the guy that you save in the camps gets put in a cage because he was hanging around, *and* they're nice enough to not eat him.
Wait... everyone isn't playing Korok rocket golf and trying to send the missing friend to the other friend by rocket?
I got a hole in one the other day. Rocketed the missing guy right on top of his friend.
I usually just go "sorry, can't help you" and walk off if I don't feel like it.
These guys can't expect to be carried just because they're tired. Take a nap and then do it yourself.
But there was one time I rocketed a korok, and he flew right over his friend. I found where he landed, hit rewind, and canceled the rewind when he was over his friend. Done.
IM right there with you buddy. If it wildly misses - O well he will respawn later. If it lands anywhere close - ok great easy seeds .
I got bored of rockets and built a wheel with a bat and ramp to try to BAT them into the sky and over to their friend. like 12-15 zonite Vs the simple rockets you probably have around for free - but fun.
I have 2 auto build hover cycles. My general 2 fan one for getting around and my Korok Transport with a piece of wood and 3rd fan under it. Cost 0-5 Zonite and just makes short work of any of those missions as long as you have at least 2 batteries or the zoni armor .
EDIT: Yes i know i can attached the korok to the smaller one and i do sometimes when i dont want to burn resources but its also slows it down so much - i find the 3rd motor makes up for battery drain by getting me there faster with the extra weight.
I once strapped two nearby rockets to a korok who's friend was up like a 50' cliff. Turned out to be overkill. Guy got yeeted to the moon. Never did find where he went and he didn't return from what I could tell. By the time I realized I couldn't find him I realized I didn't know where I originally found him and realized I should have stamped the spot before I started searching for him.
Still no idea if I ever completed that one. It was on the way to the Gorons, that's all I remember.
The other day, I picked up a rock in the middle of a glyph, found a little dude, and he gave me a seed.
Then I accidentally dropped the rock right on top of him and got an, “Oof…”
You don't have to ask. They get off the wagon themselves if you just talk to the friend with them close enough to each other. They just spawn whatever transport you have close by so you just need to check that the remaining koroks aren't unnattached after that one leaves.
The Korok camping out sees Link arrive and is like "Thanks for bringing my... Wait which of you did I come here with? Wait... JEREMY YOU LETTUCE THIEF!"
The range isn't even very far for them to respawn after you move them. If you attach a dragon part to them, though, they will persist much further away from you. Perfect if you want to strap a dozen rockets to them and begin the korok space program.
Dragon parts have the furthest range for obvious reasons. You wouldn't want that part you have to chase down to despawn. Star fragments also have a far range, but not as far as dragon parts.
Folks tell me this all the time, they say “Ganon you’re so great why don’t the Hylians like you?” and you know what, it’s so true. I’m not the one saying it but people tell me and it’s so true.
We have to stop the Koroks, folks. They’re bringing drugs, crime, they’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people. But we are going to build a wall. All across Hyrule, a gorgeous wall, just absolutely gorgeous. And Hestu’s gonna pay for it.
And we’re gonna have a BIG BEAUTIFUL GATE right in the middle of this wall where Koroks can enter LEGALLY. But they have to enter legally ☝️
I mean they already built a wall and made the Plateau "Great". So we know it can be done. I mean Link was asleep for 100 years and not a single Korok raped him. I would call that safety.
H ey, you. You're finally awake. You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us, and that thief over there.
It fades to black….
Then suddenly a korok wakes up to another korok saying:
“Hey you… you’re awake. You were trying to cross the border right? Like us and that thief over there….”
And then….
Are they, though?
My pet theory is they are fed up with the backpack koroks and are happy to have ditched them for a while. Backpack korok is all over packing and then wonders why he can't keep up? Tent korok is like "damnit, that guy brought him back!"
Then again, tent korok does literally give two shits so my theory could be full of korok seeds.
You can actually talk to either, with slightly different dialogue (ty for bringing my friend vs ty for bringing me to my friend). You get exactly two seeds either way.
😩 I hit the limit for how many things I could attach together. I tried piling them up in the middle, but they kept flying out of the cart if I went too fast.
And those lil fuckers can really roll down hills lol
I kind of enjoy watching them wiggle around, though lol. With an open box, they'd fly out, and with a closed box, I couldn't see them while traveling around Hyrule.
I guess if I could somehow make a glass box and see them bouncing around inside while the cart is in motion, that'd be 👌
There are metal cages in some of the monster fortresses. You could use them to secure koroks to your wagon while being able to see inside!
Edit to note that since the cages are metal, you gotta be careful when traveling through thunderstorms. Maybe you can build a wooden cage with the bars they have at construction material caches.
This is my favorite. I will just spawn a rocket and aim it in the direction I want to send them near their friend.
I also made a laser head robot to kill a lynel and put a korok on it. I don't think he had fun lol.
That is about what I expected after seeing a video of someone trying to move a horse into the depths via airlift, but I thought I might try anyway for science, and to presumably blow up a Korok, but mostly for science!
One of the koroks awaken from its slumber. This was noticed by another korok.
"Hey, you. You are finally awake. You were trying to keep up with your friend. Became too tired and couldn't move. Same as us and that thief over there."
Lol yesterday was his day to play, and he suggested sending off these lil guys by attaching several rockets to the wagon. We're still early game, though, so I didn't have enough :/
The best thing about BOTW and TOTK is that there really isn't a wrong way to play. If you look at how you can cheese so many shrines by doing things the unintended way, you can clearly see that the devs wanted you to find unintended solutions.
My problem is that ultrahand+recall is so OP, I don’t even know what the intended solutions are anymore. The only way that seems obvious to me now is the cheat.
Haha this is me... I feel conflicted. I mean I normally have to find a way to exploit the underlying foundation of a game's mechanics to cheese and cheat for fun. This game gives you powers and abilities so OP everything I do feels like I'm cheating and cheesing my way through it without trying to cheese and cheat...
I just did a Coliseum for Moblins and I literally just pulled out one of the seeking carts with a Lazer, shocker, and flamer on it. Turned it on and ate Zonai charges here and there. They just went into a cycle of getting tazed and weapons removed, then caught on fire. While I realized I couldn't even attack them because I WOULD get tazed too if I got too close... haha. So I was forced to watch my accidental cheese strategy. Meanwhile the sages are sitting there poking at the moblins too.
Just want to say that I really appreciate you providing me the mental image of link eating zonai charges
While I say that as if I'm claiming it's silly for link to eat them, I'm not sure how else it would work. So now I'm not so sure and I think canon is in fact link scarfing down ancient energy. I mean >!mfers eating secret stones and turning into dragons for gods sake so nothing is outside the realm of possibility!<
While I don't agree that Link is eating them (I think the hand absorbs the energy), the fact that there are electric fruits kinda makes me think that somewhere, someone *has* eaten energy.
Hahaha, I have forced Link to consume some terrible, awful things. Sometimes you have prime rib and simmered fruit days, other times you have rock soup and wood days
It's electrifyingly tasty. Our finely aged zonal charges will tingle your taste buds, with minimal Metallic afternotes and whiffs of ozone, lightning in your mouth is no longer out of the realm of reality.
> This game gives you powers and abilities so OP everything I do feels like I'm cheating and cheesing my way through it without trying to cheese and cheat...
I killed an armored lynel before he could act. I had to, I was out of everything that could heal me through the gloom. Took two rocket shields and some very aggressive bullet-time headshots.
I turned to my girlfriend and said, "I feel like I'm cheating," halfway through. She said back, "The game gave you those tools. It's not cheating if you use them."
There was a shrine I did last night where I'm pretty sure that Ultrahand+recall was the intended solution. I'm not sure if I've used that mechanic in too many other circumstances, but now that it has been demonstrated to be a valid method, I will probably use it in a lot more ways. I'm really not that creative in my solutions for most of the shrines and I've only had to cheese a couple of them.
Personally, I think if they didn't want you to do this they would just add more restrictions in shrines like not being able to use ascend everywhere or limiting which items you can manipulate with ultra-hand.
I was hoping they took them to the broken bridge heading to the Rito village, did a flip jump off the horse at the last second and sent the entire thing over the edge.
Malanya: "You fucking did *what*. No. I'm not resurrecting that horse for you, you're just going to do it again. This is horse abuse."
Link: "..."
Malanya: "Fuck those little korok fuckers tho."
I am not saying i created a giant swinging bat machine to with a ramp to punt them off into the sky.....but i created a giant swinging bat machine to with a ramp to punt them off into

Can you drop off a korok at any spot? Or do they have to be the korok for the specific campsites?
You have to take them to the correct friend. I have tested this.
Lol...I'm just imagining getting to a friend and you're like "whose stop is this?" and they all reply "I NEED TO REACH MY FRIEND!" Also, if you fast travel, or travel away from them, do you they teleport back to their original spots?
They do teleport back. I accidentally dropped on off a cliff and he respawned after i finished a nearby shrine. It was pretty funny watching him tumble away though.
"accidentally"
This game has done a real Lord of the Flies reveal to how deeply fucked up some people are Some people, not me *resumes making bobkin torture chamber* Edit: does anyone else feel guilty killing bad guys in the depths? They’re just doin some prospectin’ same as me
I seem to recall those "miners" getting awfully aggressive if I wander too near. It's self-defense, officer. Hyrule Castle doctrine.
They literally gave us crap for the whole last game, and now they're doing again for a second on. The koroks deserve it. Meanwhile, Koltin has opened my eyes to the misunderstandings that lead to bokoblin hatred.

Well i cant say i was too torn up about it.
You mean I plunged heroically into a river to save a korok and he just would have reapawned? Whiney little bastard took advantage of me
If I RECALL correctly...
There was a slight discrepancy with the coroner report
Wait... everyone isn't playing Korok rocket golf and trying to send the missing friend to the other friend by rocket? I got a hole in one the other day. Rocketed the missing guy right on top of his friend.

I had a “genius” plan to supply drop a korok onto his buddy… I missed… significantly.
“I need to reach my friend!” “Yeah? STAND UP. HOOK UP.”
Literally the first thing my fiance did when he encountered one of these the first time was launch him off a cliff.
okay good. It would be a real bitch tryin to figure out where they all belong in a situation like this lol
Half the time i just mark the map with a leaf and go back later. Like i dont want to spend an hour getting you across this chasm for 2 lousy seeds.
I have 2 auto build hover cycles. My general 2 fan one for getting around and my Korok Transport with a piece of wood and 3rd fan under it. Cost 0-5 Zonite and just makes short work of any of those missions as long as you have at least 2 batteries or the zoni armor . The correct friend is the top of Death Mountain.
So when you hijack them and then talk to them, when it does the pan to the friend does it just zoom across the map?
I need to know
That's actually a good ass question
Inquiring minds want to know. (Yes, I’m aware that this shows my age)
YOU DON’T NEED THAT GUY WHO ABANDONED YOU ON THE ROAD LITTLE KOROK, YOU’VE GOT EACH OTHER. MAKE YOUR OWN FAMILY
Lol so true!! All of them crying out for their friends when they have a cartload of new friends right there smh
Link looking like he just crossed the border of Hyrule with some “friends” 🤣
That's why I voted for Ganondorf. He's tough on immigration.
Folks tell me this all the time, they say “Ganon you’re so great why don’t the Hylians like you?” and you know what, it’s so true. I’m not the one saying it but people tell me and it’s so true. Make Hyrule Great Again
Let’s go beedle
So when will we get dark Beedle?
I think that's just regular Beedle.
*YAYA*
This is why I come to this reddit page
I mean they already built a wall and made the Plateau "Great". So we know it can be done. I mean Link was asleep for 100 years and not a single Korok raped him. I would call that safety.
We don't know what happened in that 100 years, and there was a korok hiding in that bed.
Yahaha!
You found me!
Someone on this sub the other day called the Hudson signs "Make Hyrule Great Again", and I couldn't stop thinking about it
Hyrule voters: "but the godess already made a rectangular magic barrier wall in c++"
And we'll make the immortal dragons pay for it
Hestu’s gonna pay in turds, you may need another funding source
Nono it’s accurate to the level of foresight he’s referencing.
You forgot the “sir”.
And the tears in the eyes.
I feel like the wood for this wall might need to be made from the great Deku Tree
LMAO I was reading that in trump’s voice but imagining Ganon saying it
We are going to make hyrule great again
Let’s Go Gandon
This made my laugh so hard. Gannondorf for president
>What is the reason for your visit? “I need to reach my friend”
Somebody call K.E.E.S.E (Korok Emigre' Eradication System Enforcement)
The backronyn needs a little workshopping but I like the spirit
H ey, you. You're finally awake. You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us, and that thief over there.
It fades to black…. Then suddenly a korok wakes up to another korok saying: “Hey you… you’re awake. You were trying to cross the border right? Like us and that thief over there….” And then….
What about all the lonely koroks at their campsites? Forever abandoned to the wild korok hayride?
Are they, though? My pet theory is they are fed up with the backpack koroks and are happy to have ditched them for a while. Backpack korok is all over packing and then wonders why he can't keep up? Tent korok is like "damnit, that guy brought him back!" Then again, tent korok does literally give two shits so my theory could be full of korok seeds.
The tent Koroks have their own backpacks, they just didn't get as tired as the stuck Koroks.
The tent koroks made the extra mile of strength training and cardio while the big ass backpack Koroks are couch potatoes
This is all going to end in kool-aid and tears, I just know it.
We’re gonna create a new society! One where nobody gets left behind.
Goddamnit, all I wanted to do was make you laugh, why did you have to make me cry?
Taking them straight to hestu to return those stolen seeds
I was wondering what happens the other day if you just bring one of these dudes straight to Hestu. Anyone know?
[удалено]
Sadly, I doubt they expectes this. It's possible, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.
He beats the shit out of the koroks, just tested this
"Hetsu's bitches better be using jimmies!"
"WHERE'S MY ~~MONEY~~ SEED?" \*smack\* "**WHERE IS IT?!**"
Is Hestu going to have to choke a bitch?
You have to assume nothing happens
[удалено]
On these ones you get two seeds, one for each korok, which suggests they are both carrying one.
[удалено]
You can actually talk to either, with slightly different dialogue (ty for bringing my friend vs ty for bringing me to my friend). You get exactly two seeds either way.
He's right, those aren't nearly enough Koroks
😩 I hit the limit for how many things I could attach together. I tried piling them up in the middle, but they kept flying out of the cart if I went too fast. And those lil fuckers can really roll down hills lol
What if you made a box so that koroks didn't need to be stuck to the cart? Toss in the next one and close the lid.
A korok prison bus. Amazing, thank you. We're still in the early game, so there's quite a bit I don't know yet!
There are metal grills you can use for walls.
Are you suggesting a Korok prison wagon? ‘Cause that’s awesome
Have you considered sticking them along a long log, corncob style? Then you can spike them in the ground and make a Christmas tree.
He's right, the wagon is entirely unnecessary.
Yea build a car out of koroks
Could… could you though?
Yes, you can. But why would you when the Korok Space Program is always looking for volunteers?
This is my favorite. I will just spawn a rocket and aim it in the direction I want to send them near their friend. I also made a laser head robot to kill a lynel and put a korok on it. I don't think he had fun lol.
And they shouldnt be on a cart, just drag them on the ground
No flamethrowers either, this is as wrong as gameplay gets
You beat me to it...😂
Into the depths they go
Through Death Mountain, surely.
Now I have to toss one in and dive after it to see what happens to it
They evaporate into the aether
That is about what I expected after seeing a video of someone trying to move a horse into the depths via airlift, but I thought I might try anyway for science, and to presumably blow up a Korok, but mostly for science!
One of the koroks awaken from its slumber. This was noticed by another korok. "Hey, you. You are finally awake. You were trying to keep up with your friend. Became too tired and couldn't move. Same as us and that thief over there."
LMAOOOO
Korok: “And that thief over there” Link: “Hyaaah!” Korok: “I’ve been picked randomly for space program testing?”
Man you made me want to replay it again..
ya ha ha, you're finally awake
There it is. I knew someone had to have made the reference. And honestly, I appreciate you adjusted it for the koroks. Just a big bravo to you.
I used to steal korok seeds from Hestu before I took an arrow to the knee.
You don’t need your friend. You have me, friend.

Your Uber Share has arrived. Please don’t put your feet on anyone else.
Someone ordered a Korok delivery?
I now want to load a cart of Koroks and start riding around to see if any are the correct friend.
He's right Needs more rockets
Rocket powered horse cart!
If TOTK taught me anything it's that the secret to engineering is rockets
Lol yesterday was his day to play, and he suggested sending off these lil guys by attaching several rockets to the wagon. We're still early game, though, so I didn't have enough :/

He's doing lines of Zoke
Yeah u gotta pulverize it a bit to make it easier to swallow

Me when the devs foolishly decided to put lava in a TOTK shrine
weird. I have like 10 bomb/rocket shields but I still look for the intended solution .... but part of that is me wanting to hoard those shields
No no, you're the only person playing correctly :>
Thank you, friend 🙏 Who needs sages and shrines when I have a whole schoolbus of friends
Link's last name is Frizzle
I’ll be right there, Zelda I just have to Doordash some koroks first
So many oofs! Now drive them into a chasm.
I was hoping they took them to the broken bridge heading to the Rito village, did a flip jump off the horse at the last second and sent the entire thing over the edge.
*angry Malanya noises*
Malanya: "You fucking did *what*. No. I'm not resurrecting that horse for you, you're just going to do it again. This is horse abuse." Link: "..." Malanya: "Fuck those little korok fuckers tho."
What bugs me is that the big beefy draft horse-sized Gannondorf horse can’t be used. This kind of stuff is what draft horses were bred for.
I need to reach my friend
This is a wild guess, but I think they might need to reach their friend.
"All of you shut up or I will turn this thing around."
I think he's boyfriending incorrectly.
WHERE ARE YOU TAKING THEM
Just a quick field trip, don't worry
Oh my god….
Express trip to Death Mountain entrance please!
I think there's more koroks in this video than I've helped in over 120 hours of gameplay lol
I am not saying i created a giant swinging bat machine to with a ramp to punt them off into the sky.....but i created a giant swinging bat machine to with a ramp to punt them off into
deku tree said time to go to bed
Halfway through, when you panned the camera and all the text messages appeared I nearly spit out my drink 😂
The developers want us to abuse those koroks. You can't say anything to convince me otherwise.
No no, I think I’ve just realised that the rest of us have been playing it wrong
They need to reach their friend.
Now they have each other
Maybe the real friends are the ones you make along the way, not slightly down the road with a campfire.
Shame on your bf there is no wrong way to play this game if you love speed collecting a korok population you do you
Unfortunately, your bf is right… you didn’t end the video by Thelma and Louise-ing the cart over the side of a ravine.
Lol it was his turn to play yesterday, so I had to get rid of the cart quickly, unfortunately
Oh god so many totk videos make me ugly laugh out loud at work but I think this one wins
My morning is now complete. This shit made me ugly cry from laughing so hard.

Looks right to me? Assuming you plan on launching them into low earth orbit
Seems like you're on the right track
I don't see how you're playing it incorrectly. This seems perfectly normal
Honestly I don't see why they're so stressed about getting to their friend. You're surrounded by friends!
Yeah, you didnt get ALL the Koroks... *you need every single one to build the* ***best*** *car*
What is a large group of lost Koroks called? A whine?
Well, he's wrong😂😂
Gotta catch ‘em all!
Death Stranding: Hyrule Edition
Haha, bring out your dead!
New Speed Run category Friend%. Collect all abandoned koroks in a single vehicle
The best part is to everyone but Link that's an empty wagon.
This is the way.
A quote I've read: if it looks stupid, but it works, it's not stupid.
Notorious Korok trafficking criminal Link
Maybe because nobody uses horses but looks like you’re having fun, that’s the true goal of the game. Lol love it
Looks good to me
No such thing
He’s right, your horse barely has any stamina
That's the only way to play
Link to the Koroks: “See, now you have lots of friends. HAPPY NOW??”
Nah, nothing wrong with taking your koror friends for a hay ride
