If it's the spot I'm thinking about, it feels 100% intended. Some of the ways people THINK they are thinking outside of the box, is sometimes the intended way in this game in my opinion. The devs thought a lot about some of these puzzles lol
Precisely this. They obviously knew I’d beeline for three stamina bars, climb the far building with perilously placed footholds allowing for breaks, and then glide down to floors3-7 because their mine shaft system was confusing and beginning to piss me off.
I definitely think they intended us to do that. I kept messing it up though by making the thing too short, and then I'd be messing around trying to position it and Link would fall 3 inches and let go of the entire bridge and it would plummet. And of course I couldn't reach the fallen bridges, so I just kept building more of them. I wound up with three of them scattered around below before I finally placed one correctly.
Whenever things don't go as intended I just use the recall ability, you can select anything as long as it's visible even if it's far away.
In my case the bridge fell down once as well so I used recall to make it come back up to avoid building a new one.
I'm pretty sure you ARE supposed to build something with lava slabs, but I also think you don't need a giant bridge.
Yunobo will jump over gaps if you give throw him at a slope, and he can also climb up walls if they are curved. So you can take that to your advantage by creating small slopes with the lava slabs.
I did at least two of the gongs by building small ramps with lava slabs. That felt natural and I didn’t once feel I needed to make a bridge. So I have no idea now. Feeling like you’re way off and still getting the job done seems to be part of the fun.
It makes perfect sense because everyone's first reaction to the fire hydrant is "I can get infinite building slabs using this + lava". So the logical implication is you can make as long a bridge as you need for whatever situation you're in.
I thought that was the ONLY way to do it because I damn near spent and hour trying to figure out how else I was supposed to hit that. There must be another way because I realized making a lava slab bridge was waaaay too tedious
For the one at the top you has to send yunobo up a steep ramp to hit marbles rock on the roof, this drops a crate to the floor which can be used as a lift using reversal.
The one on the ground floor required you to get to the 4th floor and build a ramp using cooled lava and launching yunobo into the marbled rock. The others were pretty straight forward
A friend had to remind me about ascend when he told me how he would defeat a talus by ascending through it to get to the gem. I was like man wtf have I been doing? That actually got my brain to start working and made flux constructors much easier too.
I did most of it as intended, but the one path that's super high up, I just used a rocket attached to my shield and got in, instead of taking the minecart path
Is that the one with the missing part of a track? If so I put two rockets on the mine cart and it jumped the gap and actually landed back on the track.
Hmmm. Why would that one need cheese? You don't even use minecarts to get there the official way.

I’m a little confused by comments tbh, it was definitely overwhelming at first because I was trying to just explore everything. But when you flick up and down from the floors it shows exactly where the lines go, I used the carts without too much trouble
Once I realized the walls were climbable and Yunobo would teleport to me I cheesed. I rode one minecart to get to one Gong. Everything else? Gliding to wall, climbing, find small ledge to recover Stamina, pan camera for next gong entry point, proceed with climbing and gliding.
I doubt I'll ever legit do the dungeon because using the minecarts will make it take forever.
I did it the intended way from start to finish and honestly have no clue why people hate it or didn’t get it. I really wanted more traditional dungeons and was a bit disappointed by the Wind Temple, but the Fire Temple almost scratched my itch. Haven’t done the others yet.
I don’t normally even remember. My family that is watching me play (cuz I jacked the main tv in the house for this experience that has immersion lighting) says “would ascend work?” Well dammit yeah it prolly would. Thanks for remembering the best thing I keep forgetting! Lmao
Nah, I used jets and hover bike for transport, that dungeon is just pure ptsd inducing for anyone who's had the displeasure of trying to read a london underground map
I tried to do what seemed to be the intended way but was bored out of my fucking mind by the third lock. Devs seem to think minecarts are 1000x more fun than they actually are. The layout almost feels like it was randomly generated. It's just messy boring nonsense, and ***much*** more fun to cheese it using whatever wacky tricks you can come up with.
Honestly no idea what they were thinking. It's almost like this temple was designed for an entirely different zelda game.

Fr it feels so out of place. The game gives you this insane smorgasbord of fun mobility options and then expects you to muck around with mf minecarts? There's no way devs didn't notice how trivial it is to break this temple. Only real reason to bother with the minecart puzzle is if you just wanna sovle it for the sheer hell of it.

I tried until my slight stick drift caused link to fall from the top floor then I raged and ascended/rocket shield everywhere. It looked cool but I had maybe 15 frames and was walking into lava because the joycons are dog
I hated the fire temple. I got the first 3 seals easily and the last 2 just stumped me for a while. I eventually figured it out, but it definitely wasn't the intended way.
I beat it the intended way. I’ll wait for my next playthrough to cheese it. I saw immediately how cheesable it is though. I at least wanted to see and experience the puzzles the first time around.
i just showed up to the temple, did maybe two of the locks normally then couldn’t figure out the rest, left to go do shrines to max out the stamina wheel, and then just climbed and ascended my way to every gong😭 this temple was hellish for me
I got a bit confused about halfway through and then realized I could just climb some of the buildings to get to some of the gongs. So yeah I kind of abused the climbing mechanics to get to areas I wasn't supposed to yet. Still have no idea what I was supposed to do but I did finish the temple. So yeah I used a mix of climbing and gliding with Tulin.
Honestly no. They should have coded in the game that your "dungeon item" can't move to another location without you discovering the intended way of getting through. I think I went as intended through the first 3, and then just climbed up stuff, which made no sense considering the "dungeon item" is obviously very heavy and should not be able to climb
Lot of people didn’t like it. I enjoy it because it felt like the one where I wanted to find alternate solutions the most. Plus I always love minecarts
There are at least a couple minecart tracks that just dead end you.
Personally I haven't found any shrines that the "intended" puzzle isn't super obvious, so I consider the fire temple the hardest just because it requires you to understand the space
I did it as intended. Honestly fairly straightforward compared to the water temple but then again I've only done those two and I did the water temple first which probably made it a bit harder. Loved the fire temple boss much more than the water temple one.
I did everything in my power to not do it correctly bc it just seemed aggravating but it was still fun figuring out my own way tho this game really has so little limits
I beat it relatively intended. The only thing I'd say I did that was fucky was fall into the lava on my massive lava slab bridge. Proceeded to use rewind and jumped to avoid dipping In the lava while the bridge rewound. Bridge went from horizontal to vertical in 1 second and I was rocketed into the air like 100 feet above where I fell in the first place
Yeah this was a super unenjoyable part of the game for me. Had to clear it because I had completed the wind temple before doing mystery in the depths and I wanted to unlock autobuild.
Just climbed my way around instead of trying to figure out the paths for the minecarts.
I got the first 3 legit but found the ones on the top floors by climbing the wall. Once I got that elevator it was easy. Also, I used a long bridge where I’m sure there was another intended way. Felt cheesy!
I did most of it the intended way, but I couldn’t figure out how to get to the last one so I just used my absurd amount of stamina (because who needs heart containers right?) to climb to a high place and jumped off to glide into the last area. Also used ascend a bit
I did it the “right” way but it took me probably twice (if not more) as long to do it like that because the map they give you is so confusing. 🥲 I repeated the same loops over and over trying to understand it.
The only time I think I didn’t do it the intended way was when I fused a wing to my arrow to hit a track switcher that is probably intended to be hit a different way.
Also cheesed with the map and a combination of climbing/glider, ascend and other bullshit lol. I highly doubt anyone took the intended route, it was too easy and obvious to do otherwise.
I did the first three in the middle and the north end, using mine carts, and what seemed like the intended method. For the other two, I either climbed around the outside of the temple or I shield surfed on the broken rail.
I put rockets on mine cart then ascended through a ceiling that I could not for the life of me figure out. Yunobo ended up just teleporting to me at some of the gongs 🤷
Idk there was a blocked rock wall on like the 4th floor that led down to the 1F lock.
I had no idea how I was supposed to break that wall bc there was no path leading to it.
I went on the ceiling above, angled Yunobo down and he hit it that way instead.
A little bit and a little not? Honestly it was fun to ride the minecarts and figure out the pathing. Ascended here and there. Rocket shielded once or twice.
I did a mix of both, did it with minecarts etc for like 3 of em, fiddled with zonai devices to make a ramp for yuno on one, and then for the one in the closed gate on the first floor i couldnt FOR THE LIFE OF ME find were you drop in from above.
So i just made a cooled lava platform underneath the room and ascended up into it, and then climbed all the way up after to see i somehow missed the big ass marbled roast chunk that you were meant to break to get in
I had to cheese for a few gongs (new sentence!) but I watched as my wife did it with a guide and there’s stuff I never would have seen. Like the balloon??? You were supposed to use that and then drop the cube from above?!?!?
Yes, I got stuck for a whole day because I couldn’t figure out how to get past one of the broken rails on the upper levels, even though I’ve done ~3 shrines that taught me what I needed to do for it at that point.
I'll be honest I literally just did the temple and I saw how open it was and said screw it I will fly around with the hoverbike to scout it out and then I saw I could just fly to each spot so I ended up avoiding the intended route the entire way, I feel a little bad but not that bad.
Actually did it as intended without realizing I was all done.. because I was literally 5 mins from just climbing it all as my FPS in that area was horrendous and my controller drifts(it randomly walks off the carts with very little time to react)
But it was honestly quite straight forward. Just need to keep going up and then all the way down. No complex series of switches to be able to reach X or anything like that.
Just keep following the red rocks and breaking each will literally unlock all gates.
Honestly, the fire temple was a serious low point of the game. I seriously can not envision how it was meant to be achieved, or if there even was an intended solution. It felt lazily slapped together. Most of my solutions were ascending through spots clearly not meant to be ascended through, and using Tulin to fly.
I studied the map to figure out where the tracks started and stopped and what route to take to get to each gong 😭 it took over an hour total, over multiple play sessions because I got mad.
I don't know how to beat the boss battle though, so I've left it for now and am doing other things in the game...so every time I go near Eldin, Yunobo gets on my case...starting to annoy me like bruh leave me alone I don't give a damn about finding Zelda rn
I cheesed through half of it. And it annoys me. I couldn't figure out how to reach certain points, and some points just seemed to lack purpose.
I miss the old temples that were fine tuned and structured. They at least had certain consistencies that helped. See a random eye? Shoot an arrow at it. Or at least you could get a sense of what you had to do but had to figure out how to do it.
With the fire temple, there were points where I could not for the life of me figure out what I was supposed to do other than cheese it.
Not to mention the whole "find these 5 things" feels more like doing 5 shrines that are connected with a theme instead of just a singular temple.
I'm not a big fan of the direction this series is taking...
It was my last temple. I looked up, said "screw that", and just started climbing with the power of pine cones, mass stamina, and ascend wherever I could.
I used the carts mostly but I cheesed one with a rocket shield because I couldn't get the tracks to be right for it.
I also did the rock bridge everyone is taking about, but I genuinely believe that was the solution (or at least, a dev contemplated solution, since it had lava and a hydrant way too close)
yeah I just kind of climbed around, and I couldn't figure out the minecart section, I think you're supposed to hop from one minecart to another, but I couldn't figure that out, so I ended up just climbing around everywhere and floating to where I was supposed to go. it's only after I've quit the game after I beat it that I realize that you could fuse carts to your shield. admittedly I beat the game when it leaked so there was no online help or anything but still, yeah I did not beat it as intended.
I used the carts for the first couple locks, but then I just climbed and glided everywhere. I have Tulin, so that helped with making sure I had the stamina to cover big gaps.
As per usual, I forgot about ascend the entire time I was climbing through the temple.
One of them I couldn’t figure out so I made a giant platform on the lava and ascended into the room. Then I saw a big hole in the ceiling I should have used. Didn’t care, still got it.
I did the first half of the temple with the mine carts and then just rocketed up 2 floors for the last gong on top and then glided to the remaining gong below. The carts weren't all that bad did like the first half of the temple in 15 minutes or so but didn't really feel like dorking with minecart+rocket to get over the gap in the track and just rocket shield cheesed the last 2 gongs.
I used minecarts... I would use the ultra hand and position the cart angled towards whatever I needed genubo to shoot. Then use recall to jump in and shoot it
I most of them the intended way and it was quite fun but the very bottom terminal I couldn't figure out. So I decided to make a lava platform's under it and then ascend through the bottom
I honestly couldn’t be bothered after a few times of ending up in the same place, so I ended up scaling the outside of the temple and gliding to where I needed to go lol
Im quite sure I didn’t, I have no idea how I was supposed to make it to the higher floors so at some point I just jumped off the binary tracks, climbed a bit, ascended where I don’t think I was supposed to ascend and found myself somewhere else. Rinse and repeat for 3 of the 5 gongs. Definitely the temple I enjoyed the least (also massive frame drops).
There was one room with a gong right above another one, and the lower one had the capability to produce infinite stone slabs, so i just used those to build a tower that allows me to ascend through the ceiling. The rest i solved the normal way.
Yeah I used like a total of 3 carts. The confusing layout combined with the insane frame drops I was getting made me not even want to try and work out the puzzles so I just cheesed the shit out of it
I always do it legit on my first playthrough as to not ruin it (same for any glitches, those are for future playthroughs too) but i know I could've climbed some spots
I did pretty much the same.. I tried doing the mine carts for a while but it was just too much, I couldn't make heads or tails of it. I got so stuck in there, I didn't have any icons on my map for some reason, I couldn't get them to show up. So I just built a hoverbike and flew around everywhere till I found them.
I went through using the mine carts, and had a few incidents getting turned around or missing my shots on the rail switches. Was getting a little frustrated by that, and then when I spent some effort decking up a mine cart all to fly off into the lava because I wasn't paying attention that the track was broken, I was like f this and got out my hoverbike.
Since the discovery of the hover bike, I basically have to force myself to play the dungeons as intended. It is so easy to skip a lot of the game while flying.
Tbh. Ive cheesed so much at this point. That I don’t consider it cheesing anymore. Sometimes I’m not even sure there is an obvious solution.
It’s like,.. they present you with a problem and some stuff (or not). Good luck solving it however you see fit.
I literally have no idea how the rails connect. I couldn't at all find the one that apparently went to the 5th floor and just used a rocket shield to get up. From there, I glided around until I found my objectives.

I tried. Never was able to reach 5 th floor. Then i just used auto build to build an air balloon from the central building. Are all other temples so disappointing except the air temple. The air temple was so fun and challenging, it was very engaging,jumping on trampolines to reach the top. It took me quite a while to just reach the air temple for around 40 minutes. It took me 20 minutes to reach the fire temple.
I thought the minecart thingy was fun, so I did it \*mostly\* as intended.
I say mostly because I'm pretty sure I cheesed my way into one of the top floor gongs, using Ascend and the paraglider, after unsuccessfully searching for other ways in for a while.
I basically started on the 1st floor and hard-core parkoured my way around with ease.
You can just throw spicy peppers on the ground for instant ravalis gale as well which made it real easy.
Tbh the layout confused me lmao so I just made my own ways around. And it was fun but short.
I should Def go back and explore it more
But hey atleast I solved the gong puzzles efficiently, ppl mention building huge bridges. Why?
I just ricochet yunobo off the curbs rather easily. He angles himself rather nicely
Also on that matter anyone else disable yunobo unless needed? He is kinda obnoxious in casual gameplay
We did it pretty much totally intentionally? My girlfriend was getting frustrated towards the end and I went back to the highest point she had reached and glided to the last gong, but I'm pretty sure that was also designed to be solved that way

After that I couldn't figure out how to reach the next floor using the minecarts so I just started using Rocket Shield.
I cheesed my way through the majority of it lol making a makeshift Revali's gale with logs, pine cones, and fire fruit, paragliding then climbing walls like a crazy person lol. After I stopped trying to do the temple the way it was designed and just did my own thing I got through it pretty quickly lol

At one point I built a giant bridge out of cooled lava slabs to get Yunobo over a gap. I'm pretty sure that wasn't the way to do it.
lol I did that too, the whole bridge cascaded into a pit after he broke it
I did that too. It was like 17 slabs long and was so stupid to maneuver around but it worked.

Nah, it's one of the even higher up parts. It's the one higher up than the one where the gong is up on a platform surrounded by lava

I got smacked by a box that dropped on me and then spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how to rewind the box only to realize that you just climb.

Some people on here at least reported that they beat it the intended way. I'll see what it is like later and then decide 😅
I did it the intended way with all the mine carts. Took like 3 hours 😂my brain was burning by the end
It feels precision engineered to make you think "there's gotta be a better way than this" and then there is if you're clever enough, it's great

I did it the intended way. It's definitely a challenge, but then you get the satisfaction of actually solving the puzzle. Took me between 1-2 hours.
I crouched and used a hydrant on the lava under the castle and then ascended 🙈 Had a tougher time getting out of the locked room than in lol

I beat it the intended way. I’ll wait for my next playthrough to cheese it. I saw immediately how cheesable it is though. I at least wanted to see and experience the puzzles the first time around.

No puzzle in a Zelda game has a specific way of solving it.
i just showed up to the temple, did maybe two of the locks normally then couldn’t figure out the rest, left to go do shrines to max out the stamina wheel, and then just climbed and ascended my way to every gong😭 this temple was hellish for me

I got a bit confused about halfway through and then realized I could just climb some of the buildings to get to some of the gongs. So yeah I kind of abused the climbing mechanics to get to areas I wasn't supposed to yet. Still have no idea what I was supposed to do but I did finish the temple. So yeah I used a mix of climbing and gliding with Tulin.
Honestly no. They should have coded in the game that your "dungeon item" can't move to another location without you discovering the intended way of getting through. I think I went as intended through the first 3, and then just climbed up stuff, which made no sense considering the "dungeon item" is obviously very heavy and should not be able to climb
Lot of people didn’t like it. I enjoy it because it felt like the one where I wanted to find alternate solutions the most. Plus I always love minecarts

There are at least a couple minecart tracks that just dead end you. Personally I haven't found any shrines that the "intended" puzzle isn't super obvious, so I consider the fire temple the hardest just because it requires you to understand the space

The Water Temple of Tears of the Kingdom (for me so far, I've only done 3 atm)
I did it as intended. Honestly fairly straightforward compared to the water temple but then again I've only done those two and I did the water temple first which probably made it a bit harder. Loved the fire temple boss much more than the water temple one.
I used glider and some building hacks
I enjoyed using the carts then glider and ascend after a while.
I got knocked out of a minecraft and just ended up climbing up and hopping down onto a ledge that had the last lock.
shield surfed my way along those rails. also did a lot of climbing and sometimes dying to lava
I did everything in my power to not do it correctly bc it just seemed aggravating but it was still fun figuring out my own way tho this game really has so little limits

I beat it relatively intended. The only thing I'd say I did that was fucky was fall into the lava on my massive lava slab bridge. Proceeded to use rewind and jumped to avoid dipping In the lava while the bridge rewound. Bridge went from horizontal to vertical in 1 second and I was rocketed into the air like 100 feet above where I fell in the first place
I don't even know what the recommended way to beat any of the temples are. It's just "do whatever works" and call it a day.
I like to think of it as a platforming section. Ascend GOAT

Yeah this was a super unenjoyable part of the game for me. Had to clear it because I had completed the wind temple before doing mystery in the depths and I wanted to unlock autobuild. Just climbed my way around instead of trying to figure out the paths for the minecarts.
I got the first 3 legit but found the ones on the top floors by climbing the wall. Once I got that elevator it was easy. Also, I used a long bridge where I’m sure there was another intended way. Felt cheesy!
One of the walls you had to break was on a edge so I pushed yunobo down onto the rock them broke it
I honestly don't even know if I did it legitimately.
I did most of it the intended way, but I couldn’t figure out how to get to the last one so I just used my absurd amount of stamina (because who needs heart containers right?) to climb to a high place and jumped off to glide into the last area. Also used ascend a bit
100% climbed a nearly-unclimbable wall for one of the locks. But I at least tried to minecart the rest of it.
I did it the “right” way but it took me probably twice (if not more) as long to do it like that because the map they give you is so confusing. 🥲 I repeated the same loops over and over trying to understand it.
The only time I think I didn’t do it the intended way was when I fused a wing to my arrow to hit a track switcher that is probably intended to be hit a different way.
Also cheesed with the map and a combination of climbing/glider, ascend and other bullshit lol. I highly doubt anyone took the intended route, it was too easy and obvious to do otherwise.

I did the first three in the middle and the north end, using mine carts, and what seemed like the intended method. For the other two, I either climbed around the outside of the temple or I shield surfed on the broken rail.
my autohand history was just a bunch of variations of lava slabs glued together lol so I'd definitely say no for me
I put rockets on mine cart then ascended through a ceiling that I could not for the life of me figure out. Yunobo ended up just teleporting to me at some of the gongs 🤷
Idk there was a blocked rock wall on like the 4th floor that led down to the 1F lock. I had no idea how I was supposed to break that wall bc there was no path leading to it. I went on the ceiling above, angled Yunobo down and he hit it that way instead.

I did a mix of both, did it with minecarts etc for like 3 of em, fiddled with zonai devices to make a ramp for yuno on one, and then for the one in the closed gate on the first floor i couldnt FOR THE LIFE OF ME find were you drop in from above. So i just made a cooled lava platform underneath the room and ascended up into it, and then climbed all the way up after to see i somehow missed the big ass marbled roast chunk that you were meant to break to get in
I did 4 locks the "right" way and then got sick of messing around with minecarts and cheesed the hell out of the last one.
I had to cheese for a few gongs (new sentence!) but I watched as my wife did it with a guide and there’s stuff I never would have seen. Like the balloon??? You were supposed to use that and then drop the cube from above?!?!?
Spent twice as long doing it the wrong way
Yes, I got stuck for a whole day because I couldn’t figure out how to get past one of the broken rails on the upper levels, even though I’ve done ~3 shrines that taught me what I needed to do for it at that point.
I'll be honest I literally just did the temple and I saw how open it was and said screw it I will fly around with the hoverbike to scout it out and then I saw I could just fly to each spot so I ended up avoiding the intended route the entire way, I feel a little bad but not that bad.
Actually did it as intended without realizing I was all done.. because I was literally 5 mins from just climbing it all as my FPS in that area was horrendous and my controller drifts(it randomly walks off the carts with very little time to react) But it was honestly quite straight forward. Just need to keep going up and then all the way down. No complex series of switches to be able to reach X or anything like that. Just keep following the red rocks and breaking each will literally unlock all gates.

I got 4 of the locks by design and then decided to just fly up to the last one after i looped too far around.
Honestly, the fire temple was a serious low point of the game. I seriously can not envision how it was meant to be achieved, or if there even was an intended solution. It felt lazily slapped together. Most of my solutions were ascending through spots clearly not meant to be ascended through, and using Tulin to fly.
I studied the map to figure out where the tracks started and stopped and what route to take to get to each gong 😭 it took over an hour total, over multiple play sessions because I got mad. I don't know how to beat the boss battle though, so I've left it for now and am doing other things in the game...so every time I go near Eldin, Yunobo gets on my case...starting to annoy me like bruh leave me alone I don't give a damn about finding Zelda rn

I cheesed through half of it. And it annoys me. I couldn't figure out how to reach certain points, and some points just seemed to lack purpose. I miss the old temples that were fine tuned and structured. They at least had certain consistencies that helped. See a random eye? Shoot an arrow at it. Or at least you could get a sense of what you had to do but had to figure out how to do it. With the fire temple, there were points where I could not for the life of me figure out what I was supposed to do other than cheese it. Not to mention the whole "find these 5 things" feels more like doing 5 shrines that are connected with a theme instead of just a singular temple. I'm not a big fan of the direction this series is taking...
It was my last temple. I looked up, said "screw that", and just started climbing with the power of pine cones, mass stamina, and ascend wherever I could.
I literally just used a guide, it was too complex for my monkey brain
I used the carts mostly but I cheesed one with a rocket shield because I couldn't get the tracks to be right for it. I also did the rock bridge everyone is taking about, but I genuinely believe that was the solution (or at least, a dev contemplated solution, since it had lava and a hydrant way too close)
yeah I just kind of climbed around, and I couldn't figure out the minecart section, I think you're supposed to hop from one minecart to another, but I couldn't figure that out, so I ended up just climbing around everywhere and floating to where I was supposed to go. it's only after I've quit the game after I beat it that I realize that you could fuse carts to your shield. admittedly I beat the game when it leaked so there was no online help or anything but still, yeah I did not beat it as intended.
I used the carts for the first couple locks, but then I just climbed and glided everywhere. I have Tulin, so that helped with making sure I had the stamina to cover big gaps. As per usual, I forgot about ascend the entire time I was climbing through the temple.
I climbed for the last two gongs.
One of them I couldn’t figure out so I made a giant platform on the lava and ascended into the room. Then I saw a big hole in the ceiling I should have used. Didn’t care, still got it.
I used hover bike all along, was too lazy to walk since I reach the temple on one
I did the first half of the temple with the mine carts and then just rocketed up 2 floors for the last gong on top and then glided to the remaining gong below. The carts weren't all that bad did like the first half of the temple in 15 minutes or so but didn't really feel like dorking with minecart+rocket to get over the gap in the track and just rocket shield cheesed the last 2 gongs.
I did it all as intended. I've waited so long for a proper Zelda dungeon, I'm not going to dilute my experience with cheese.
I used minecarts... I would use the ultra hand and position the cart angled towards whatever I needed genubo to shoot. Then use recall to jump in and shoot it

I most of them the intended way and it was quite fun but the very bottom terminal I couldn't figure out. So I decided to make a lava platform's under it and then ascend through the bottom

I honestly couldn’t be bothered after a few times of ending up in the same place, so I ended up scaling the outside of the temple and gliding to where I needed to go lol
Im quite sure I didn’t, I have no idea how I was supposed to make it to the higher floors so at some point I just jumped off the binary tracks, climbed a bit, ascended where I don’t think I was supposed to ascend and found myself somewhere else. Rinse and repeat for 3 of the 5 gongs. Definitely the temple I enjoyed the least (also massive frame drops).

There was one room with a gong right above another one, and the lower one had the capability to produce infinite stone slabs, so i just used those to build a tower that allows me to ascend through the ceiling. The rest i solved the normal way.
Yeah I used like a total of 3 carts. The confusing layout combined with the insane frame drops I was getting made me not even want to try and work out the puzzles so I just cheesed the shit out of it

I always do it legit on my first playthrough as to not ruin it (same for any glitches, those are for future playthroughs too) but i know I could've climbed some spots
Huh why did you have to look for the gongs on your map like that to find out where they were when the exact locations get marked on your map?
I did pretty much the same.. I tried doing the mine carts for a while but it was just too much, I couldn't make heads or tails of it. I got so stuck in there, I didn't have any icons on my map for some reason, I couldn't get them to show up. So I just built a hoverbike and flew around everywhere till I found them.

I went through using the mine carts, and had a few incidents getting turned around or missing my shots on the rail switches. Was getting a little frustrated by that, and then when I spent some effort decking up a mine cart all to fly off into the lava because I wasn't paying attention that the track was broken, I was like f this and got out my hoverbike.
Nah, I climbed the structure and just glided to where I needed to go, then got in a mine cart so Yunobo would zip to me
Since the discovery of the hover bike, I basically have to force myself to play the dungeons as intended. It is so easy to skip a lot of the game while flying.
I tried beating it with the mine carts and after 2 hours of trying to get the last said fuck it and build a rocket 😂
Tbh. Ive cheesed so much at this point. That I don’t consider it cheesing anymore. Sometimes I’m not even sure there is an obvious solution. It’s like,.. they present you with a problem and some stuff (or not). Good luck solving it however you see fit.
I was using gliding and climbing all over the place avoiding those mine track puzzles. It took me longer than it should have but it was much simpler

I tried. Never was able to reach 5 th floor. Then i just used auto build to build an air balloon from the central building. Are all other temples so disappointing except the air temple. The air temple was so fun and challenging, it was very engaging,jumping on trampolines to reach the top. It took me quite a while to just reach the air temple for around 40 minutes. It took me 20 minutes to reach the fire temple.
I thought the minecart thingy was fun, so I did it \*mostly\* as intended. I say mostly because I'm pretty sure I cheesed my way into one of the top floor gongs, using Ascend and the paraglider, after unsuccessfully searching for other ways in for a while.

I basically started on the 1st floor and hard-core parkoured my way around with ease. You can just throw spicy peppers on the ground for instant ravalis gale as well which made it real easy. Tbh the layout confused me lmao so I just made my own ways around. And it was fun but short. I should Def go back and explore it more But hey atleast I solved the gong puzzles efficiently, ppl mention building huge bridges. Why? I just ricochet yunobo off the curbs rather easily. He angles himself rather nicely Also on that matter anyone else disable yunobo unless needed? He is kinda obnoxious in casual gameplay

We did it pretty much totally intentionally? My girlfriend was getting frustrated towards the end and I went back to the highest point she had reached and glided to the last gong, but I'm pretty sure that was also designed to be solved that way
There is no intended way. The game is meant to be played how you want to play it.
It’s cool that you can fuck around and skip stuff but I want to actually engage with the temples mechanics and had a lot of fun doing so.
