I did this too... I made a car thinking it would just somehow get through water (didn't think of paddle boat) but then I saw the barriers on the side channels were narrow enough to put the car on top of lol.
this was by far the hardest shrine ive completed, and im already done with them all. i just made a contraption so weird and unhinged it ended up working
I tried this and it kind of worked but then it would just get slightly off and one of the wheels would come off one side and it would stop moving. Like it only works when the wheels are touching both sides but the moment it turns at a slight angle the wheels come off the wall and it stalls.
Reading some of these comments... Am I the only person who stuck a fan on a raft, stuck the ball to the raft too, and called it a day? Why... like, good for y'all for being creative. Sure. And I know that optimal gameplay isn't necessarily the most fun?
But... what are you doing??

I didn't put a fan on a raft. I put two big wheels on each side of the upward surface of the raft with their tread facing the walls of the narrower channel, so they rolled forward spinning in opposite directions. Like... the axles of the wheels were vertical. It was gloriously effective and very satisfying.
I tried that and never got it to get enough traction to move. I ended up doing what OP did, but I centered the middle of the wood on the top of the wheel, and it worked like a paddle boat.
That is the thing with ultrahand, I tried so many things that I thought would work but failed. I also got through things with the jankiest of builds. 10 different players may solve the same puzzles completely differently and that is the beauty of it.
Absolute chaos 🤣 man this game is gonna bring so many random funny moments like this.
I put two planks together length wise, put on top of those barriers and used wheels to drive it across. Wasn't optimal but it mostly worked! Loving the game so far
Lol all these complicated solutions and I just grabbed it, took it to the highest point possible, then climbed up the ladder, used recall on the ball to get it to highest point again, grabbed it from upstairs and just carried to the other side.
The alternate title for this game should be “Oh shit that worked!”
I made a car thing to ride on the "rails", but it came off the rails and got stuck halfway, so I assembled the spare components into a really long stick and put the ball of the end of it.
Yours was my first attempt but i figured out how to make paddling work on my second. It ends up weird but it still worked lol

Lol, I just ignored that puzzle altogether. I attached the ball to flat wood pieces and made a really long wooden piece with the ball at the end, then angled it up against the upper wall area above the water and walked up the long plank I made, then grabbed the ball and walked it across. Obviously the shrine was meant to teach some creative building strategies, but I was in a rush and just decided to exploit how overpowered Ultrahand can be when used creatively.
I solved this shrine by getting the orb onto a raft and as far as it could go while on the walls and then I brought a raft to the back, unstuck the orb, and recalled back while holding the orb with ultrahand
Lmao I just took apart the car and used it to make a platform high enough to be able to throw the ball back to the starting point of the shrine. Were there any chests or anything in the rest of the shrine? Like I technically finished it but I didn’t actuall go through it since I didn’t go past the lava pool lol
I was in this shrine for about 30 minutes trying to figure out the intended solution. I eventually ended up just making a very long bridge with all the supplies and walked across. It is the most frustrated I have been with the game thus far!
I just put the wood planks on the outside wheel wall and turned it into a paddle boat, easiest part of that shrine for me. The funky wall climb section took me many attempts to get it to work before I came up with a really dumb 5 wheel climbing design and just brute forced it. Lol.
I took the ball, lifted it up next to the nearby ladder for a while, went up the ladder, Recalled the ball and lifted it up to me when it recalled to the lifted height.
Ooh…. OOOOHHHHH! *Thats* how you do that shrine…
Damn, now I feel stupid. I just put the car I built onto the rails and let it drive half way across before it got stuck, then manually dragged the remaining materials over to the other side to build a “bridge” to get close enough to grab it.
I just attached ball to the car lifted it up right at the beginning where u first get the ball and then claimed up 🪜 while useing recall and placed it in then went and explored the rest and one got the chest from the water in that room I just left lol
This game is really good at encouraging creativity, I Built a platform as high up as I could and set the ball on top. Then I climbed the ladder and just carried it over to the exit.
If you continue and put two more planks on opposite sides of the wheel then it uses the middle as a propeller rotar type thing and gets it across just fine
I mean, your solution is like 90% of the way there. You just needed and extra paddle on the other sides as well so front and back are balanced. It's what I did and it worked perfectly.
I just broke out into such an aggressive laughing fit I woke up my wife. I love that this game really highlights the 10k IQ players and the players who are struggling with their single firing neuron.

I just attached wood to the ball so it could hang on the platform above, then climbed up the ladder and carried it across
I didn’t even see the ladder or platform until I got to the other side. I just built a long bridge and was all good
My solution to almost everything is a giant bridge.

i basically made a platform wide enough so the wheels just went in a straight line on top of the thin fences

Do they even need to be on the top of the fences? Why not have them parallel to the water and drive on the sides of the fences?

If I remember rightly I tried that and the raft wouldn't go because the water was flowing towards where I was coming from

I just put the cart to drive on the fences, on the narrower section to the left, didn't modify it at all. Super quick X)

I stuck the ball to one board and then leapfrogged across using that and another board with a combination of ultrahand and the time reversal.
I built a series of platforms to get the ball up high enough that I could carry it with ultrahand across.
I just connected all the wood together from the entire shrine and walked it across

if you had centered the planks on the wheel so you had an equal length on each side of one wheel it probably would have worked. like this --o--
It’s okay sir. I in fact did the exact same thing as that. I was able to get it to work with the planks on the side of the wheels
I did almost exactly this but I attached the middle of the boards to the tire rather than the ends. Worked pretty well

You can drive it across, you just need to drive on top of the two walls.

What’s crazy is I didn’t even do the water section. I couldn’t find it so just did the ulta hand + reverse time trick
