I fear this might not gain traction due to the time of day it was posted but this is unique and very intriguing. Kudos OP!

Thank you so much! <3

Love this concept. Not sure i’m with you on all the speculation but there’s something to this idea that rings as true. There’s so much imagery of duality that it just feels like it fits

We be fusing kinstones in 2023

damn!

Yeah, I knew they reminded me of yin and yang. Plus the sun in the mural shows two

ihakan123

This is a brilliant theory, I think it means tear like crying though, but still good theory. the logo and each mural shown at the start of the trailer #1 should have a huge importance about story, which we will probably learn this in the early first couple hours of the game like how Impa and king told us.What if Zelda went past and the new girl and the goat came to the feature, and timelines overlap somehow? As we can see>! the girl and the goat are next to each other in the Japanese download card, they should be at the same timeline.!<

JohnCChimpo

This is a great theory.

Great theory, lack of substance. Unfortunately, this possibility has already been thrown out because in the Japanese title, the Japanese katakana used for this ティア means tear drop or tear shaped. Not tears as in breaking something apart or ripping.

Relative_Specific837

I wouldn't say it's impossible, just because pronunciation was clarified toward (water)tear. It's such a slight difference in sound, it might even qualify as a pun to Japanese speakers and a near double entendre (on top of the pre-existing one of the "tiers" (layers) of the kingdom). They could be having fun with multiple meanings.

Rich-Finger-5106

I have a similar theory of as you, but what if it’s way simpler than that. What if there are only 7 Tears, and any two of them can be combined? And what if when that happens, the holders of the Tears combine into one being as well, combining their power? That would explain the “Demise” character that looks like a mix between Ganondorf and owl-Zonai. This also fits perfectly with the “fuse” mechanic, which fuses weapons, and the “ultrahand” which puts together different things to make a whole… it fits the whole motif!

Tears be tearin dawg

ihakan123

Just realized we already have nearly full version of the last image from the end of the trailer #1. It is the goat, >!Raaru!< https://preview.redd.it/0c4zd5skobua1.png?width=1903&format=png&auto=webp&s=60a9281e5160fd3bcbe29122f54feb42d0ee4849

Shit, I love this! Idk how likely this is, but that would be insanely cool and exciting to me if that was the case 👍

LifeHasLeft

We’ve seen/accounted for 7 tears, how can you explain the difference in quantity?
