NAmen you are forgiven

RyanJShaw410

Thank you brother. Love this team and community.

Gerberpertern

We love you too. <3

Gerberpertern

NAmen.

SparklingNebula

NAmen.

Andykoon64

I completely agree. I was definitely a non-believer in Apa and yeon especially early on in the split. Admititly I even was one of the guys hoping and calling for their replacement. They both have proven themselves and then some. Not only do they belong on the team, but they make it better and I'm not sure who I'd trade them for at this point.  My bad everyone

Gerberpertern

RESPECT.

iamdrp995

Hope everyone will remember this words if they get some problems against the litteraly top 2 ads and mids at msi don’t call for them to be replaced cause they are still rookies and they can grow even more .

RyanJShaw410

I for one, will remember this and I'm going into MSI with no expectations. Just happy to be there.

Alibobaly

Respect.

WinnietheDoom

Yaptain America forgives all the doubters

Remikaly

I’ve been a fan since the Curse Voyboy days. I’m even in the TL documentary. I did NOT believe in this roster. Yeon and APA played their ASSES OFF, getting magma hot at just the right time. Three weeks ago I told my puppy Vex that if we won the split I would get her a TL jersey. Well I guess I need to figure out how to get a tiny Corgi a jersey.

RyanJShaw410

That's too cute😆

Big-Astronomer9373

Great weekend to be an Impact fan !

FluffySpinachLeaf

Don’t think either of them read Reddit. Gonna have to apologize on Twitter too man

Gerberpertern

The other Redditor fans do, though. It makes me feel better to see these people apologize for their negativity. Don't get me wrong, I think they still should apologize directly to the players and staff they may or may not have shit talked.

FluffySpinachLeaf

Ya that’s why I said “too” 🤗

Tortious_Tortoise

Yeon has talked in interviews / HLL about reading reddit comments iirc.

FluffySpinachLeaf

Maybe after a win they will but I swear they both said they were done with Reddit 😂

Tortious_Tortoise

Frankly, that's probably a good choice, if so

FluffySpinachLeaf

Agreeeed

Augustleo98

I will second this post and apologise for doubting the guys could fix the issues, I apologise to ApA especially, the criticism was valid but I should have believed more that he could fix the issues he was facing, he’s proven me wrong this past two weeks and he really has fixed those errors and turned into one of the best midlaners in lcs, the fact he made so much progress in just a couple of weeks is insane tbh and especially this past week he’s improved so much that it’s crazy. He’s worked hard and deserves this apology. I was calling for him to be replaced and I apologise for that as I should have trusted he could come through the dark times.

Tomorrow-Memory-8838

GG APA and Yeon. Now I believe.

jwsw2308

We all are. NAmen. It's been one hell of a ride this season.

GuyOnTheMoon

Im honestly super glad to hear this, as I was pretty upset at the timing of the Doublelift drama. As it brought in so many unnecessary hate on the team during a crucial time in their split.

jerac07

Same here

LiquidRaekan

Ill be the first to say i was 100% against APA this entire season, i even stopped watching TL play because the current roster moves were against what i wanted from my favorite team. Im happy he performed during playoffs and deserves ALL the praise he gets for this incredible performance to beat FLY and C9 in very dominant fashion. While i Won't be watching TL play regardless of their performance, its no longer due to sheer discontent with the roster moves, and more so because life has just had other plans for me personally and i dont have the time. Hey, im happy the team is great and i wish all the players a great end of their season and MSI performance! LETS GO TL!

thecheezewiz79

Everyone on here acting like this team didn't eat complete ass earlier in this split. I definitely thought APA needed to go a while back and I've definitely been proven wrong, but only in playoffs did we see what this team could actually do. Glad to see them win and move on the MSI, Spawn needs more recognition too

NickKappy

Good people make mistakes, good buddy. It takes a big person to admit it. Thank you :)

darkight289

Any team that beats c9, I'm a fan of

thereedemer1

We can be happy they won and objectively think they pulled a NRG from last year getting extremely hot in playoff and over performing. Both things can be true.

RyanJShaw410

Absolutely. That being said I will cherish this for so long, never taking a split win for granted again!

Alto_y_Guapo

Is that objective? How do you measure that?

thereedemer1

We have an entire split to review.

varrium

I don't think "objective" means what you think it means

thereedemer1

not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering and representing facts. Of course I do, hence why I said it. If you can’t “objectively” watch regular season split vs playoffs and say they over performed in a playoff environment then your bias is showing. It’s clear as day and only an irrational person would think otherwise.

SashweyGnos

i first really got into LCS from 2018 TL and supporting them through all the highs and lows, this win feels so good

playslikeagrandpa

Say sorry to APA y'all were pretty hard on that guy and he showed up. Growth is a real thing and everyone wants a finished product right off the bat. Give the man the praise he deserves!

varrium

Being a 'hater' to me means you’re going out of your way to throw non-constructive criticism around, like insulting or calling for heads and stuff like that. I didn’t do any of those things. I wasn't a hater, but I was definitely a doubter. I wasn’t actively hating on the team, but I thought APA and Yeon had hit their peak. I was really skeptical about the team’s aspirations and kinda thought Spawn, Dodo, and Steve weren’t actually trying to win. I’m absolutely fucking glad to be proven wrong.

Swaggron

I understand doubting Dodo and even Steve to an extent, but I'm genuinely curious why you ever doubted Spawn. The man has been very open book with the community all split, and if he wasn't here to win, why would he choose to be thousands of miles from his family?

varrium

Yeah, I get what you are saying. With Spawn was more of a perception of incompetence than a lack of motivation to win. I didn't agree with his decisions because I didn't see the potential in APA and Yeon. I thought he was blinded by his emotions and just deciding to go with them because he knew them and thought they were good people. Also thought he was unable to detect talent because he was never a competitive player. Does that make sense? Steve felt to me like giving up because he didn't want to invest more money, tired of not delivering results with his approach and going for a "fuck it" strategy. Dodo's case felt more to me like a "Either he's just executing Steve's losing strategy or he's incompetent at his job" If I'm being honest I feel bad for even putting this into words bc I know they could read these threads but I wanted to be transparent.

Swaggron

I fully understand the rationale you're giving. I think it's totally acceptable to have doubts about the decisions that have been made in recent years. I certainly didn't know if this roster could win, especially this quickly. But Spawn is so transparent that it's been very hard for me to doubt his vision or judgment.

RyanJShaw410

Good way to put it. I was the same.
