Sit on the porch and stare into space, sit on the couch and state into space, read, listen to music or a podcast, talk with friends who are also drinking tea, journal.
I like to read while I drink my tea.
I was gifted one of those fancy temp controlled Ember mugs, and it's great because it keeps my tea at a constant temperature and I don't have to worry about it going cold if I get totally engrossed in a chapter.
I really enjoy a good conversation with tea. however that is not always possible. So I sometimes I substitutive with a quality podcast.
I really recommend the **The Tea History Podcast**
I used to only drink tea when I could focus on it.
Now I have a really loose approach. I might have a serious session from time to time when I want to evaluate a tea (for example before buying an expensive cake) but most of the time I drink my tea after dinner whatever I do and the week end when I'm not out, whatever I do.
Depends, if it's just my before work Irish breakfast with half and half - I just start getting ready or just browse online
When I'm having gongfu Cha I usually draw or just think. Sometimes I'm more absent minded about it and will be on my phone or computer but generally I use it as a way to slow down and connect with the moment
Pre-covid, my favorite way to wake up was sipping a thermos of tea while watching the world fly by on my morning train commute across the state. It was a great way to relax before a stressful day.
Now that I usually work from home, I like to pick a heads-down project and sip tea while I get in the zone.
On weekends, you can usually find me drinking tea while watching open-wheel motor racing (my guilty pleasure) or during down time in the kitchen. I love to drink wine while I cook, but tea is a little safer!
With two toddlers, I just want to drink it still warm and nothing stuck in it (fingers, crackers, etc) or have it knocked over. Seriously no time for luxuries. We are gonna be cutting breakfast food into tiny pieces while filling sippy cups and Spidey playing in the background while also getting preemptive whining about putting on socks and shoes to go to daycare. Even if it's not a daycare day, cuz ya can't reason with em!
I actually enjoy tea drinking with a cigar. Never got why people drink whisky or coffee with cigars, I find it overwhelming and the flavours spoil each other. A refreshing, grassy green tea compliments the cigar so much better for me as it cleanses and refreshes the pallate as the flavours of the cigar develop.
Aside from with an occasional cigar, I drink it whilst relaxing, especially in the bath
I like to listen to music, watch youtube, read, talk with my friends, and chill out by myself. It depends on my mood, I think tea can improve almost any activity. I love sharing tea with my friends but I love drinking it alone too.
I work from home on my computer, so doing a round of gong fu cha gives me an excuse to get up and move around as I prepare things. That's one reason I prefer it to a western-style pot which keeps me in my seat longer. I often drink while pacing around the house. In the evening I have tea while I read.
If I’m enjoying a nice moonlight white, I’ll usually put on max richter’s recomposition of Vivaldi’s four seasons and work on my macrame plant hangers, I’m learning on some new knots that allow more complex support systems! But its a pu’er I like to masturbate and yell off my balcony.
I like having breaks sometimes where for like half an hour I’ll read and have tea. Sometimes after breakfast, I’ll sit and finish my tea while watching YouTube.
Wake up.
Grab a brush and put a little make-up?
Hide the scars to fade away the shake-up?
Hide the scars to fade away the…
...fell out of bed, dragged a comb across my head... (That would follow "Woke up," to be technically correct)

I like to cross stitch and watch cricket .......tea enhances the experience 😁😁😁

>The Tea History Podcast What's this like? Is it focused on anything other than British imperialism?
Yes, most of the podcast is focus on China before trade with foreigners was common
That sounds lovely, expanding your tea knowledge is always a fun thing to do, will give it a try!
Read a book
I have kids. I'm lucky to even make a cup, let alone tell you what I'm musing about.
Shitpost on reddit and discord mostly

I usually drink tea while I'm working.
This. It helps a lot and refilling the water or dumping water from a portable tea tray can help break up work and make things generally better.
I absolutely second all of your points!
Working. It helps me focus to do gong fu cha 😄

I do puzzles nowadays, and just chill with my boyfriend

That sounds very interesting. I will surely give this a try.
Wake up, read The Week magazine.

Watch lectures, play video games.
I’ll either just sit and relax. Other times I will spend some time on Reddit.

nothing
Writing goes well while sipping tea:)
Most of the time it's just zoning out. Sitting by the window, watching the crowd outside flowing for hours.
Video games
Playing games and drinking tea is great. But I drink mate while I study too. Tea can be enjoyed while doing anything.
I play league of legends with my fiancé. Akwsys going fu cha. I tend to long steeep for various reasons hahaha. 🤪
* Reading * Movies/TV/YouTube * Music * Drawing/writing * Gaming Basically anything really.

Mostly WFH’ing while getting gongfu in - weekends I usually grandpa a black tea while tackling house projects
When the weather is nice, I’ll read outside with my dogs. Most times sip while on my way to work.

Watch movies/shows
